Roleplayer Guild - Forum Roleplaying Games

I have been working on this one for about a week although I am Not sure how exactly this would go so suggestions and constructive critism are welcome.

This would be a trucker RP In north america, we will narrow down the location later if we need to. Pretty much you could be an entry level driver, a driver that is considered senior from years of service, or as long as there are not too many you could even be the CEO of your own trucking company. that is pretty much what I have for that so far. You have to pick-up and make your deliveries on time, collecting money to spend on food and other things at truck stops and stuff. there would be the general interaction of the characters at these truck stops maybe you could even pick up an NPC hitch-hiker. also there good be jobs on the side or in between trucking loads, legal or not


Anybody interested or have any ideas? the backstory will be more detailed in the ooc if it goes that far

Very creative idea. Im not sure if it would be my kind of roleplay though. Would there be other things, inbetween jobs?

sure there could be jobs in between maybe even on the side, i never said you had to drive legal cargo either lol

Now it sounds more fun. Then there could always be stops at stores, gas stations, bars, whatever is around. Then if you got bored you could always have an accident.

true the more people the better, and i mean any ideas are good ideas i would like to see this work like i say i have put a lot of work into the backstory which i will post in the ooc if it gets that far as i have said already

Sounds like an interesting start to a story, rather than something I could maintain. For example, a story where a mysterious stranger or hitchhikers get picked up by a trucker, and each has some kind of deep dark secret/agency is after them/etc.

I just don't see how one could roleplay driving across the USA by themselves, delivering cargo, and eating fried food out of greasy spoon diners. I don't mean this as negative, more as an attempt to be constructive; maybe add something more to the idea?
