Another Camino user. But it's still Mozilla based. It's lacking a lot of features though that I'm starting to notice. No RSS feed support, no offline surfing, page closing is lame. Seems to stale on loading when a site can't be found instead of just terminating connections.

Nicer looking than Mac's version of Firefox 3 though.

I like both though. Firefox and Camino. I don't waste my time with Safari though, it annoys me far too much.

Ubuntu had a Firefox clone called Iceweasel built into it, but stock firefox 3 is still better.

I like Iceweasel...especially the "animated logo" (not going into that :P)

Unrelated: I LOVE UBUNTU, and, even though Vista stole, like, EVERY feature of Ubuntu, I hate Vista and love Ubuntu >.<

Anyway...yeah, I voted for Chrome, but wanted to vote for Firefox

And what about Opera? It's REALLY fast (but...unless you get add-ons, it doesn't have anything else >.<)

Opera's like a dragster. It's fast, but it's a single seater, no accessories and no frills. :P Unfortunately the internet now relies on frills >.>

Safari ain't that bad though... like Cruithne said, it's irritating. At least the auto resume download thingy is handy. Has some issues at displaying some contents (like the Guild Wars website for example).

I've never been a fan of Opera. It's relatively faster at first, but once the cache builds up on Firefox, the difference isn't even noticeable. Then you have its built-in peripherals, which are nice, but don't offer you the same range of customization as Firefox's bare-bones approach.

Customization is king for me. If a browser comes with everything standard, I get a little iffy.

The only compy I use opera on is my one with only 512kb RAM :P It doesn't want to work on my lappy for some reason, but it doesn't matter; I like Chrome better for fast browsers :P

*is currently using Firefox :P*

So what are some of the pros of Firefox besides speed? What sort of addons could one add to their firefox to make the Guild's experience better?

-Limitless customization potential
-Open source code in case you wanted to design a new scheme for the browser
-Hundreds of plugins
-Far better security than other browsers
-Eats up fewer system resources than other browsers (the memory dump issue was fixed in Firefox 3)

Multi-platform support. YAR, just means that everyone can still view the site as everyone else can.

Safari's just rubbish for being on top of keeping things cool. Some pages display like ...crap on it.

I honestly detest Macintosh/apple, but I enjoy Safari.

I'm currently installing opera and I'm going to do some Browser hopping, switching between each of them to see what I think.
