Basic Information:

A mix of organics and artificial technology shaped into the form of a towering Worm the size of a bus. That is the basic description of your average Worm. These Worm Drones were experimental alien technology, the fact proven by the odd blue and green 'organs' on their insides and unworldly technology inside the beasts (That are rather unstable). It is suggested that they are scouts for a much larger force that has yet to reveal itself in any known way. Even for scouts, though, these alien beasts are more than a force to be reckoned with.

All Worm Drones are created by a Queen, and all construction (or 'birth') and military actions are overseen by a 'Worm Lord', this particular group led by this Worm, Crabnek. Worm Drones are known for being astoundingly slow, since they can only crawl. However, they can burrow themselves into the ground with their powerful teeth and swim through the planet like a fish in water. Their large teeth can sprout from the Worm's mouth with flexible tentacle-like appendages that connect the teeth to the mouth. Their length is unknown. They can also swim through water easily, though they rarely do so and are a bit clumsy.


Offensive / Defensive Capabilities:

All Worms seem to have some sort of built in cannon-like weapon inside of them that can launch a flurry of small spikes, all an inch in length, that explode painfully on impact with their target. They are usually shot from a distance and along a wide range, since they don't lock on their target and can easily be dodged.

The Cannon can also be used to fire small beams of energy, which weaken the Worm temporarily and may, if used too quickly and often, can overheat the cannon, harming the Worm itself.

Though it actually shrinks the Worms size slightly each time for some unknown reason, Worms can also apparently spit out smaller Worm-bots, which are quick and completely mechanical. They have thousands of tiny jet boosters on all sides, microscopic in size but powerful enough to, all together, lift the Worm, and can only attack physically, but they can detonate themselves as well, but only when commanded to do so by the original Worm, whom will be left at their size for the duration of the fight and thus left at a disadvantage, since small Worms also give them a certain amount of energy and life force.

Worms are also known to have immense strength and the ability to jump relatively high, though just how they manage to actually jump is unknown. Jumping does, however, tire them out extremely quickly, as it does with an obese human being.

As a last resort, Worm Lords specifically have the ability to channel nearly all of their life force and energy into a widely spread beam of astonishingly great power. It is almost a guaranteed hit and devastating, but also leaves the Worm unable to do much else but move and perhaps make a slow escape. However, after this maneuver, the Worm is left utterly defenseless, and will fall at basically any attack.


Other Information:

If a battle is lost and there is no escape, a Worm can cause itself to detonate, like the Worm-Bots, only the explosion has a much larger radius.
