![]() G F F N R: Division 2, Match 2 OOC Rules: 1: All arena rules apply; brush up on them if you're feeling unfamiliar. 2: Up to two NPCs allowed, if you wish. 3: Death is a fun and integral part of the game. Once a player concedes defeat, they relinquish control of their character, and the victorious player is allowed a final, fatal move for some last-ditch cool points. Don't worry if your character dies, though- you're free to use them in the next match. In a world where gunfights happen for no reason, death is not permanent. ![]() 4: A thread is considered "abandoned" after two (2) days, unless notice is given beforehand. This may not seem like much time, but with players lined up and waiting for some action, threads need to move quickly. Setting: Division 2, Match 2 will be taking place at the local mall. Lots of people around, and lots of opportunities for makeshift weapons. Lucky for our combatants, there's an Assault Weapons USA in this mall, right next to Gymboree. In this round, fighters are limited only by their imagination, so let's get the psychotic blasting started! For no reason. Characters: Kenyi as Felix. Candi as Kairey. Bobtobismo is judging. Go! Either player is now welcome to start the fight with an IC post, and you've got two days to do it.

While firmly holding the premier version of Red Alert three in his hands, Felix exited the game store, a vague and dreamy smile on his face as he stared at the box he held in his hands. There it was, the thing he saved up money for for months, money that he could’ve used for food, clothing, or a proper bath soap or anything. But instead, he pre-ordered Red Alert three, knowing it would give him sleepless nights once more. Did he care? I think not. Smooching, almost kissing the red box, the usual black scarf touching the hard plastic surface of the box, Felix made his way through the mall. It was way too busy, and his hands itched to just kick a bypassing kid or something, or just pull out his Ruger, kick over a baby in a buggy, and go duke-nukem style, blowing the shit out of everyone. “too bad my pipebombs aren’t ready yet though…” He muttered, looking darkly towards by passers from under the shade of his eyebrow, and continuing to mutter in himself as he pushed his way through the crowd, his dirty hands and stench making it him easy enough to reach the stairs to the ground level. He could reach some fool showing off his driving skills outside, tires screeching as the idiot seemed to be desperate to find a parking space, and Felix grumbled silently, his brown eyes staring down to the main atrium for a moment, before hell broke loose. And for god’s sake, that was one hot hell that broke loose. A car (or so it seemed, it made a hell lotta noise) came crashing into the mall, the shattering sound of glass and scared screams of bystanders echoing through the atrium of the mall, Felix crouched down in a natural reflex, his hand shooting to the Ruger Mark III he held in a holster just underneath his sweater. It took only a moment before the car itself appeared, Felix’s eyes widening a bit as he saw a old Mustang driving up to the central area of the atrium, stopping there, the security closing in upon the idiot whom drove it in. Felix looked down again, seeing the door swing open, and the drive step out. “Damn… I’d do that” He whispered, screaming mall visitors running past him, as he stared down upon the woman that exited the car, holding a shotgun in her hands, and dressed with less clothing than Felix wore. A smile played upon the filthy face of Felix, his hand pulling out the Ruger out of the holster, as the woman shouted who wanted to fuck her. Hell yes, Felix certainly would, if it wasn’t for that nasty shotgun she held in her hands. He quickly reached for his bag, opening it, and stashing the copy of Red alert in that bag, letting the zipper unzipped, so he could access it more easily. Then Felix decided to show some of his outrageous hormone manliness, and raised up, his pistol pointed towards the general direction of the woman, his finger pulling the trigger several times, launching a uncontrolled volley of bullets upon her, more to notice her of his appearance. It was always more fun when they knew you were going to blast her. He didn’t even took notice of several securities, which now switched their gazes, and guns between the madman above, and the madwoman below. “I’d like that” Felix shouted down from the second level, standing near the stairs, the majority of his cover consisting of the railing, and the hard plastic boards that hung underneath them. She would be a worthy opponent, really, and to tell the truth, Felix needed some blood right now. What better chance than this? “I’d like to fuck you all over, kill you, and fuck you again”. As I say, blatantly jabbering in a attempt to look like a tough guy.

Kairey lined up a security guard who was trying feebly to take cover behind a bush made out of plastic and silicone. As her finger began to depress the trigger the sound of gunshots echoed in the atrium. A spray of bullets struck the car around her, their trajectory originating from above. She knew the security personnel would not be the first to fire - “I’d like that. I’d like to fuck you all over, kill you, and fuck you again.” The source of both the challenge and the bullets was a grungy looking, unwashed, bum standing on the upper level near the stairs. Protected by nothing but the railing and a sheet of plastic, she changed her target - if he wanted to talk shit he was going to have to eat lead or live up to his claims. Sliding her foot back to steady herself for the inevitable recoil she lined up his body with the end of the shotgun - the security guards were beginning to retreat and focus on evacuating the mall, and probably getting on the radio to contact a S.W.A.T. team or some other kind of specialists. It was a wise but unfortunate move - collateral damage was something Kairey had a special appreciation for. She let loose four successive blasts from the shotgun, pumping between each shot. The distance was too great to guarantee pinpoint accuracy, but that was the beauty of a shotgun - it was about aiming in the general direction of your target and letting the pellet spread do the rest. She had the open car door as a makeshift cover, and would continue spraying pellets at him until he was dead or she was dry. |

| Judging for the First Round Candi/Kairey: Quote:
Not only do you have an oldies car, but the 'last time she got bored.' felt pretty badass to me. Quote:
Sexy badass chick? Hell yeah, but wait for the next one. Quote:
Hmmm, taking a sexy girl and making her hair so scene-ish and predictable? Not very innovative, so I'm deducting points. Quote:
Quote:
Stabbing the gas pedal is a nice metaphor, I'm diggin' it, and the date with destruction is awesome, however, had it not reminded me so much of GOW 2, I would have awarded you 2 points. Quote:
I might get in trouble for this one, but as soon as you mentioned him I knew what you were doing. Too predictable and average, this is about baddassery! Quote:
That was damn cool, and I love the part about her 'valiant effort' as if she was a holy warrior sent to wreak havok on the unsuspecting human race in general. Quote:
A mix of being the first to use 'fuck' and the fact that the word could be used in two different contexts. Sexy chick steps out of a car and asks who wants to fuck and I'll mention going back to my place J/K but seriously the double context adds more to your characters sexy/badass image. I like it.Overall score: 6/10 Kenyi/Felix: Quote:
Quote:
For mentioning the most badass badass in the history of badasses. Quote:
Homemade shit, I hope you brought some of that with you. Also, I love how his craziness kinda shows in his mumbling. Quote:
But you're a badass. It doesn't matter. Quote:
For not only noticing the double context, but commenting on it in a badass way, even through all the chaos around you. Excellent work. Quote:
For not being a pansy that snuck up on their enemy, but stepped right in front of them and fired a harmless bunch of bullets to get their attention. Quote:
Bloodthirtiness. Definitely badass. Quote:
For one, it's creepy that Felix is a necrophiliac, number two, you are a badass. No more 'trying to sound like a tough guy' Overall Score: 3/10 Current Leader: Candi/Kairey: Gun Fight For No Reason.

Kairey fired all 10 rounds from the shotgun at Felix, who had - in response to the first shot - started darting down the stairs to where the cover was more substantial than a few millimeters of plastic. Once the shotgun was empty her foe had made it to ground level and had put a cement barrier between himself and her. His arm reached over the barrier and he shot a few rounds in her direction blindly. One shattered the window in the Mustang's open door, while the others flew wildly around Kairey. Unphased by the pistol fire she pulled out her Baby Eagle's and charged the man, firing at his hand and the cement wall to keep him pinned down and stationary. As she neared his hiding place he dove out from behind the barrier and tried to catch her with his few remaining bullets - but Kairey's quick reflexes left a bullet in his shoulder before he got the shot off. She changed her trajectory and, running along the side of the wall, used the six remaining shots to pin him to the floor with lead. One her clips were emptied, and Felix riddled with holes, she let the pistols fall to the ground, palmed a throwing knife in each hand and kicked off the wall. As the space between them closed Felix picked up his head for one last good look at his assailant. Kairey, aided by gravity, hauled back her right hand and drove the throwing knife into the middle of his forehead - sending a stream of blood gushing onto Kairey's chest. Her other arm swung wide and plunged the second blade into his throat, unleashing another torrent. She stood up straight and took a moment to admire her work. Glancing back the way she had come with the car she caught sight of a black S.W.A.T. van making its way towards her position. She quickly collected her pistols, she dropped both empty clips to the floor, reached behind her and slammed a second set of clips in place. Walking towards the back of the Mustang she put one handgun in its holster and fired a single shot into the locking mechanism of the trunk with the other. Holstering the second pistol she lifted open the trunk to reveal a small arms collection stashed within. Pulling from the miniature armory an RPG-7, she stepped into the center of the atrium and lined up the approaching black van. With a grin she pulled on the trigger and the grenade propelled itself into the police van. The explosion sent the vehicle straight up into the air, when the dust settled another team of law enforcement officers had begun to position themselves strategically around where Kairey was standing. Dropping the spent weapon and retrieving her pistols she smiled maniacally and stated to unleash a hail of bullets at the surrounding officers, "This is going to be one hell of an afternoon." Kairey beamed as she ducked behind the 'stang. For no reason. Last edited by Candi; 10-28-2008 at 08:51 PM. |

Unphased by fire in your direction? Badass. Quote:
Bitch never had a chance. Quote:
This one is literary. 'Riddled with holes' just sounds awesome rolling through my mind and off my tongue. Also, a little predictable but, kicking off the wall is a classic badass move. Quote:
Not throwing throwing knives? tsk tsk. You should know better. Quote:
Fuck keys. Fuck cops. Fuck the world. Yep, badass. Quote:
Suicide CAN be awesome if presented right, but in this position it just seems like an easy cop out rather than a badass, narrow escape from the cops... Post Score: 4/10 It seems I need to add Candi's second post also, so as to properly add up her badass points. I will either edit this or make another doing so later. I'm a lil' busy ATM.

The post was too short and didn't show enough of her badassery. Should have put more action into it.
