Suddenly she was in mid air, or that was all her brain could register. The adrenalin flowing through her veins made everything seam slower. Using that to her advantage she tried to examine the situation. In front of her, flames licked the air, almost like it was trying to devour its next meal. The wind was knocked painfully out of her lungs, as the force of the explosion tossed her to the side like a rag doll. Relief poured through her as she saw her pistol was still in her right hand. Suddenly afraid, her gaze slowly looked towards the ground below. Now only a few feet above the ground a single thought ran across her mind.
"This is going to hurt..." Violently her body came in contact with the ground, and made painful spins across the sand. Instinctively her hands were pulled in a cross on her chest. To keep leg damage to a minimum she locked them together and waited for the powerful roll to end. Sliding across the sand, she came to a complete stop laying rigidly on her side. Squinting her eyes open, the helmets viewing screen showed her the sandy floor, and a few marks that was left from her fall. Snapping to attention hands unlocked themselves and pushed against the ground. Ignoring the bruises and aches all over her body, she forced herself in an upright position. Moving her head back and fourth, trying not to further her head ache, she looked at her surroundings. Estimating a good 50 to 60 yards away from the damaged sand pile she searched for the person who set off the explosion. However, her gaze returned to her hand that had started to hurt. The gel protested and stretched as her hand held the small weapon in a death grip. Focusing hard on the hand, it loosened and now held the pistol in a firm hold. Looking at the small pistol with a worried expression, she attempted to get on her feet. Dizziness erupted inside Nyra's head as her legs pushed her to her feet. Suddenly in panic, her hand brought the pistol behind her, in fear that JonJon would try to attack again. Seeing only the now glassed sand pile behind her, she returned to the task of finding the one responsible for the blast. Using the zoom function in her helmet, she was able to spot the guy with the scythe. Sparing a quick glance down her leg, anger raged in her thoughts at the memory of the fire attack. Automatically she assumed that Riku was the one responsible, thinking that his fire abilities would allow him to set off an explosion. Although she had no way to prove this, she had experienced so much of the impossible that anything seamed possible now. However, Nyra would not attack anyone at the moment with her sniper, she had learned from her mistake the hard way, and would not repeat it again. Starting her jog, she was going to take refuge behind the glassed pile. It would be foolish to return to an attacked area that might shelter the enemy. If she reached it without any problems, she would attempt to make a few holes in the scythe man's torso, or head if she was lucky. Noticing some of the finer, dusty sand had taken refuge in the nicks of her suit, she thought, "luck is not on my side today." Small clouds of sand flew into the air as her feet made contact with the ground. A mixed sound erupted from the crowd. Some cheered for the explosion, others muttered darkly at the two combatants that were thrown to the side, and some outraged people shouted at the dome. However, all of them were disappointed, the sand had not yet turned red with blood. |

Because Frix was on all fours much like an animal and it would be impossible to kick him in the stomach, Riku's kick had managed to slam him on the snout. "Gaaarrh, what are you?" the lizard man growled, surprised by the mage's agility, as he lowered himself, ready to pounce. Instead of leaping, though, he reactivated his force feild and cloaking device. Frix then lept to the side to keep Riku guessing where he was, got up on his hind two legs, and attempted to leap onto and grab Riku.

She had been stupid, she had triggered her own seal trap, yet as time had went back to normal she had a surprise attack that she was going to pull. Swapping the bow to the other hand the bow started to glow faintly before it vanished into her gauntlet that was now morphing it a different form. As the it settle the gauntlet was thicker and held small plates of metal though nothing that would help in a fight. Now she needed to attack before someone finally found her, yet who now, if she went and attack the teleporting boy with the strange mallet or the goo women. Though what about those that were at the tower of glass.
Smiling she would launch an attack on all of them, turning she ran at full speed towards the dome wall. While she did that she started to gather energy towards her, jumping she connected with the wall. Bouncing off of it she was sailing though the air over the centre of the arena. It was then that she started to launch small blade like forms of energy to the ground hopefully she was right and that most of them would be caught in the blast that would occur. Yet while she was doing that she had forgot about her landing as she slammed into the ground only a few meters away from the nearest blade. “O damn” as she started to crawl away she felt the energy destabilising behind her as a number of the blades started to explode. ((ooc this is not a powerful attack, think of her arrow attack. Yet using the same amount of energy she just split it up and spread it over a larger area.)
