JonJon sent a wisp of his long blond hair upward with a puff of air from his lips. His head of hair cascaded onto his shoulders making him look like a mop.
That analogy couldn't have been more true. His 6 foot 6 inch body was barely covered by his meager 146lbs weight. He resembled a stick, his very baggy jeans comfortable loose on his body but did not impend his movement. They were held up precariously by a sharply studded belt and they hid his worn and torn shoes. The pants black color was complemented by a baggy tee with his favorite band adorned on it, Cannibal Corpse. The tee hand a baggy long sleeve under it that was a black color as well. Across his neck was a white bandanna that could be pulled up over his face. On his head a pair of aviator sunglasses. He checked his pockets one last time making sure his inventory hadn't changed on him. Laying across his lap was a skateboard that had the marks of heavy use. It's axles metallic sheen and the scratched wood of the deck. He rummaged through his pocket and laid his things on the board like a desk. The first was his Zippo lighter. The second was a butterfly knife with a 4 inch blade. The third was a pack of cigerrets. The forth was a nearly full can of spray paint. After confirming that his things were all in order he took a glance over at the mirror. He teleported over to it instantly without a sound. Taking a final glance a his unruly head of hair he teleported to the newly open doorway that lead to an unknown destination. The crowd cheered once again as another participant entered the sandy arena. The anticipation was building, the lust for blood was obvious.

The lizard man let out a shudder as he exhaled. Staring into his reflection in the mirror, Frix thought of the battle coming up. He hoped that it would be a large one; he'd be able to hide and wait out the battle with more ease in a chaotic brawl. After rinsing his face in the sink with a clawed hand, he returned his attention to getting prepared.
A dagger and a pistol were laid out upon his table. Hanging on a chair was his signature red headband and scarf; he had to keep up his signature style, after all. Opening a drawer, Frix took out a small, watch like device and strapped it to his wrist. He pressed a button and his skin glinted and faded again as a forcefeild wrapped itself around him. Another button was pressed, a cloaking device activated, and he vanished. Satisfied, he turned off the field and the cloak and checked the battery life: 2 hours left. Plenty of time, he thought to himself. Putting on his deep red pants and jacket, he observed himself in the mirror. Frix stood six feet three inches tall, and allot of this height came from his long limbs and neck. Turning his long, green head directly around, he checked the clock, nodded and turned it back. He bared his sharp teeth, hissed, and laughed. Moving to the side, he checked his long tail. The lizard man puffed his chest out and admired his profile. Tall, lean, 36 years old, and long, but lightly built- he stood on a scale and hissed at it, a mere 170 pounds for a lizard man! I need to bulk up. He hid his pistol in his jacket along with three extra bullet packs. Along his waist he carried four thermal bombs and a grappling hook launcher and rope. Frix grabbed a glass, filled it with water, and drank it greedily. He was always nervous before these things. His job as a thief and assassin prepared him well for sneak attacks, but not so much for group combat. Filling the glass again, he sighed. A group of fans stood up and cheered loudly as the third combatant entered the arena. |

(( You are both accepted and for narration purposes use the combatants name ))
When JohnJhon entered the arena she had not noticed. The sandy pile in the center of the field had blocked her view. Her helmet was made to pick up targets only a few yards away, not across the arena. However, she did notice when Frix entered on the opposite side of the arena. With a few voice commands her helmet zoomed in on Frix and studied his figure. By looking at him she could tell that he was not human. Firstly humans did not have long tails, and they certainly were not green. Half trying to blend in with the black glass, she pressed her back against the wall and pulled the sniper off her back. The two hundred yard shot would be difficult, for many reasons. Not only was their a large distance to consider, but the vents that circulated the air in the dome were different then outside winds. Preforming several calculations in her mind she turned on the scope and zoomed in on the target. Smiling she thought that his choice of clothing was a bit under dressed for arena battle. However, she would have fun adding some lead to his system. Adjusting the sniper with small minor adjustments she paused for one second and pulled the trigger. There was no silencer on her rifle, so a cracking sound bounced off the walls of the dome. Flying at amazing speeds, and leaving a thin white trail, the anti-armor bullet headed in the direction of Frix, the lizard man. Sadly, because she was not use to the domes environment, the bullet had a huge chance that it would miss. However, if it did miss, the bullet would land in the sand or bounce off the wall near by. Not waiting to see if she hit the combatant Frix, she jumped for the cover of the sand pile at her right. Taking cover, the sniper's heat could be felt even through the gel. Nyra would have to wait if she wanted to use the sniper again. Putting the sniper back in its resting place, she peaked over the side of the mound to view the bullets damage. The crowed cheered as first shot was taken, and if the bullet found its mark, then they would cheer for the first hit. |

Frix had activated his forcefeild a second before a sniper's bullet tore at his left foot, and the crowd went wild. Had it been a moment earlier, his entire foot would have been gone, but the invisible sheild took most of the damage. Flinching at a searing pain in his foot and realising he had been shot at, he dropped to his belly and looked at his watch: 21 minutes had been taken off of the battery life in a single shot. As the top of his foot began to bleed a bit from the impact, he slithered behind a nearby pile of sand and glanced around, looking for his new enemies.
A trail of white smoke was lingering in the air from where Nyra had fired. He saw nobody in that direction, and turned his attention to a tall, human-like figure 80 yards away. Muttering to himself, Frix activated his cloaking device, got up, and began advancing swiftly towards JonJon. His feet left small, three-toed impressions in the sand and tiny droplets of blood as he moved. It would be difficult for anybody without extremely keen eyes to notice them in the unsmooth sand. When he was 30 yards away from JonJon, he pulled out his pistol, took aim at JonJon, and fired. The shot was muffled by a silencer, but still made an audible noise. It was a bit of a long shot for a pistol, but he trusted his hitman's eye. After the shot was fired, he crouched down to make himself a smaller target even though he was invisible, had anyone seen him. |

JonJon heard the first hot crack through the black dome and instantly teleported for cover. One would not last long if he just stood around while shot where being fired. After a small wait he pulled himself off the dome wall he had teleported to eirlier and took a look around. He saw a blur in the distance, he had no idea what it was but his mind connected the earlier gunfire and the blur together, it must be a threat. Suddenly a muffled pop of gunfire was heard again as i it had been silenced. JonJon's eyebrow rose in surprise as his fidgety instinct took over almost before he himself knew so. He teleported to a sandpile around 50 yards to his right.
From his position behind the sandpile he admired the newly burnt hole in his shirt. He had a minor scratch on his side as well from the bullet. If he had teleported a millisecond later of if the marksmen had fired a bit to the right he would surely be a bloody mess right now. He clutched his skateboard with both hands like a club and risked a peek to where he was a moment earlier. Nobody was there, this made JonJon more nervous than if he had found someone. Now he would have to be on his guard all the time. He teleported to another sandpile nearly 100 yards away. It was away from both of the gunshots because he fancied not getting shot today. The crowd erupted as the shot fail to find it's mark but soon quieted as they realized a hunt was on.

She expected to see something. Maybe a mark in the sand where the bullet hit, or the battered remains of the shot from when it hit the wall. However, she saw no evidence that she had even fired a weapon. Muttering a few commands into her helmet she tried to zoom in on the area wondering why nothing was there. Even with the helmets help she could not spot the tiny drops of blood that the sand greedily soaked up. However, a large question pounded in the back of her mind. "Where did the lizard man go?"
Now paranoid she pulled out her pistol and tried to find Frix. The only near by cover that could possible hide him was the sand pile on his side of the arena. Thinking that he could not have gone far, she automatically concluded that lizard man had dove for the protection of the sand pile. Remember that Nyra has no idea that Frix can turn invisible, so she assumed that he had dived for cover. Before leaving her protection she dug a small hole in the pile and placed a mine. Covering it up with a thin layer of sand, the mine would only detonate on her command, so if anyone walked too close the mine would do nothing. Suddenly, small pops could be heard somewhere in the arena, but she had no idea in what direction. No bullets bounced off the wall or hit the sand behind her. "Could there be more then two combatants?" she wondered. Poking her head around the pile again she could not spot anyone. "where the heck is he?" she thought once again. With the pistol still at hand she started her jog around the perimeter of the dome. She planned to stop in the middle of the two sandy piles and try to find Frix behind the pile. Both JohnJohn and Frix could probably spot her if they looked in her direction. If anyone would try to shoot her while she travels along the perimeter she would probably stop and try to find her attacking opponent before taking any offensive action. |

“Now, listen girl. This is going to be a tough fight. You must use all the knowledge and skills we have taught you to win...are you listening to me you stupid child” shouted the wrinkled old man that was standing leaning on a large staff that held him up. “Hey you called me stupid, the one that said it first is really stupid. Anyway I am so excited to fight stronger and stronger opponents. Let them all fall before me and my bow, Gyokuji.” as she said that she pulled her long blue ribbon and lied back her long almost white coloured hair back. She was tall for the women in her tribe standing at 5ft 7. Slipping on her gauntlet she began embraced the power that was residing in it, it was powerful weapon that allowed her to manipulate energy and form it into a number of objects or seals. Mainly she used it to form arrows. Though it had other properties such as embedding pure destructive energy into her arrows or seal spells which would restrict movement of others. Yet she could be inventive sometimes with manipulating the energy.
“Now Lulu before you go out can I ask you, why are you not wearing any underwear” as her teacher stared at Lulu she looked down at her clothing which consisted of a bikini like top that barely held her large bosom and a traditional long skirt with a slit down the side. “O yeah, it is because it restricts my movement slightly plus we are going into combat it is not like they are going to be looking right.” with that she grabbed her bow Gyokuji and moved towards the door made of pure darkness that reflected the light strangely from the orb of light that hung in the corridor. “Girl if you had a brain I think this world would perish.” he said as he shuffled As she door opened she jumped into the arena though she expected more to be happening yet it seemed deathly quiet as there was not a sound that could be heard, she could not even see anyone for that matter. Pulling out a single arrow from her quiver that rested on her hip she looked for the slightest sight of movement. “Damn I cannot see anyone from here” turning around she looked at the smooth glass surface that was seamless. “I could have swore a door was there a minute ago. O well.” turning again she leaped into the air. With the gift of great agility and speed she flew high over the battlefield and got a better idea for it. “Well if they do not want to show themselves I will force them out.” pouring energy from her environment into the arrow she fired it straight into the centre of the arena. As it collided with the ground a small explosion would surely make sure that people stop hiding. Landing on the ground she drew another arrow and watch her surroundings for any movement. Even the slightest dust cloud or where there should be one when there wasn't she would fire at. ((ooc Lulu picture

(( Ok first December 13 you are accepted but, try not to be too powerful with your manipulating powers. I have seen to many people become power hungry and start to ruin the fun for everyone. So keep your powers, but don't become godly powerful with them.
Now Izaka, you must read the rules above. Once you have done that and included everything in your post I will ether accept you or not. Also don't just attack right out of the gate, look around, examine your surroundings.)) |
