"NO!"
Dayle clutched his head. "NO! I WILL NOT KILL FALLEN! BEGONE...VOICE!" He felt his skin writhe form contact with the silver. "I will...never...submit...to...your...will..." He stopped his thrashing and just clutched his head. "I...will...not...kill...Fallen..."

If there was one thing Assallya Kressair was it was an infiltrator and pretender. In this, she was one of the greatest there ever was. Walking about the small hut aimlessly, humming softly to herself and brushing half her long hair, Assallya looked completely stunned by Fallen's sudden barging in through the doorway. Having long released Dayle, Assallya peered at Fallen innocently, as if she had no idea what was going on and then assumed a sudden look of horror.
"By all the hundred gods," she gasped out suddenly, fixing her eyes on the white hair and fangs, feigning shock and gaping, "...what are you!?" |

Fallen's eye twitched. "Don't screw with me elf. Let him go." She glanced back at Dayle and growled. Fallen's eyes turned pitch black and her fangs elongated. "You know what I am and you know what he is, you think we are dangerous so you want to kill us." Fallen could feel the hunger rising, it would soon overtake her. I can't stay by her much longer. Fallen took small breathes so not to smell but to no avail. She growled again and said, "Let him go."

Assallya didn't know what to say. She had already released Dayle, had the moment Fallen had moved in the direction of the hut.
She squeaked, not entirely feigning fear as there was reason to be afraid. "I don't know what you're talking about," she protested, holding her bejeweled hands out before her like some sort of shield, "What are you? What do you want with me? Why did you kidnap me?" The vampire had no proof, only wild accusations. Assallya hadn't done anything to give herself away. Her technique was flawless, she was the consummate spy. All Fallen had to go on was some wild story about "voices" and who knew, perhaps her fledgeling had cracked under the pressure or maybe it actually was the voice of the damned demon inside every vampire? Just because hers didn't speak to her in words didn't mean that his didn't. Assallya backed up against the wall, clinging to it like a trapped animal. "Please... don't hurt me..." she pleaded. Fallen knew better so she walked out of the hut and sat beside Dayle, releasing the cage so that he was just laying on soil. Silently commanded by Fallen, Vera was to watch the elf's every move. Fallen sat as motionless as Dayle was.
She's smart, she won't make a move now that she knows we are watching her. With that Fallen's mind began reeling, analyzing every possible twist or turn. She wasn't going to loose this, over two things. She hated loosing and she loved Dayle. |

Left alone to her own devices Assallya set herself to searching the small abandoned hut in search of something to defend herself. Breaking apart the small battered chair would make some handy stakes... through she couldn't do that, nor sharpen them without the other two overhearing.
The lamp filled with oil would work well once the sun came up. The old hut would go up in flames very quickly. Vampires burned like dried tinder and if that didn't do the trick the sun would accomplish the rest. Her anklet had a symbol to her goddess as one of its charms but she didn't trust to hope that would help much and there was no sign of any garlic, nor mandrake, nor bloodroot, not anything. Clearly the hut's last owner wasn't a herbalist so poisoning the vampires was out of the question, not that she was really fond of the idea of using her own blood to poison them anyways. Checking herself, she accounted for all her silver. Her body was adorned with a mix of both silver and gold. Three necklaces, several rings and toerings, most of which bore gems were made of silver. She supposed she could transfer all of them to the fingers on one fist giving her a rather vicious sort of punch if need be but that would be later. She did have that spell that would summon electricity about her hand. That might stun one long enough to bolt but again she wasn't sure how far she'd get. There was the invisibility spell and the illusions but out in the middle of nowhere she was leery of relying on them. That was about it. Most of her spells were meant to be used against the living. No, things were not looking good. Trapped out in the middle of some dark forest, the prisoner of monsters who were probably keeping her as some sort of emergency food supply. Things just weren't going her way of late. |

Dayle moaned and opened his eyes.
"Quite...my heads quiet...." he went to stand up, but fell down again. "Voices...wanted death....they..." His eyes rolled back and his head hit the ground, but not before muttering. "I love you, Fallen. Always have, always will..."

Fallen closed her eyes and got up. She held out her hand, making a face that only a person who's been alive too long and seen too many things could make. Vera cast a worried glance at Fallen as if she were mad but quietly submitted to her will. A deep, deadly growl escaped her throat and she let her hunger consume her entirely. Without making a sound Fallen walked what seemed calmly over to the hut.
Having had her head down she looked up at the elf. Fallen looked absolutely terrifying, her fangs poured clear venom, and her eyes were completely black. If that wasn't enough all of her features were locked into a lethal position, ready to kill the elf without a moments hesitation. |

The elf girl froze, her blue eyes peering at the gleaming red demon's eyes. This girl demon was insane on top of everything else. Walked out calmly one moment, then was acting like a pit viper the next.
"Wha..?" Assallya asked, her mouth dry as she shifted her bare feet, wishing she'd actually did something other then make plans for what to do should the vampires make a move, "what is it?" |
