Rook came up over the hill top and looked down on the valley below. There was some what of a river to the right that produced a nice mist that hung about the old willow trees by the water. There was a ravine at the far end of the vally and a few caves carved into the mountain side to the left. But for the most part there was just scorched earth with the occasional boulder or two. With a little doing the spuare mile of a vally would make an excellent free for all battle field.
Rook's eyes went from the usual round pupils accustomed to humans to the thin diamond slits of a dragon.
"Not yet." he said to himself. "We dont want anyone knowing that particular trick."
Rook descended the hill side and lightly stomped the ground beneath him. A mound of rock rose from the ground and supported Rook as he led the rock quickly around the vally, raising a few mounds of earth and carving out a few gullies with his magic as he went just to give the vally a bit more divercity. Once he was done he landed back where he started.
"And now to bring them here." He spoke to himself as his right hand glowed red and his left began to form an aura of electricity. He rotated the hands to face palm up and then thrust them into the air, releasing a large fireball and a bolt of electricity into the air only for them to collide and make quite a flashy display that would signal to people for miles around. This was no longer a natural landscape, it was a battlefield, and Rook intended to win, no matter what.

Dayle saw the clearly powerful man cast his spell, and knew exactly what it meant. The chains around his wrists hovered with Dayles magic. his short black hair, black eyes, pallid skin and lipless mouth filled with razor sharp needlelike teeth smiled at teh prospect of a challenge. This hunter would claim quite a prize tonight.

Jumping from his hiding spot, he uttered the fire enchantments, and his chains ignited in flame, he weilded them with amazibng dexteritry and aimed for them to wrap themselves around the mans neck from behind. they magically grew with Dayles power. This was almost too easy!

Being a man of the elements, not to mention hightened senses, Rook could easily detect the heat surging for his neck. He spun around and extended his right arm from wich a bolt of lightning struck both chains, metal is metal fire or no fire so they might as well been huge targets for the lightning wich would trail the chains and shock the first challenger with around 200 to 300 volts of pure electricity. This however would not nessecarily cease the chains progress which is why Rook raised his left arm imeadiatly after the lightning had left his body and raised a foot thick sheet of stone from the ground. From the relative safty he jumped back a good distance and drew his black sword with his right hand. Widening his stance he waited for the challengers next move why all the while keeping his senses acute to any others in the area. This was after all a free-for-all.

Dayle just laughed as the electricity diffused to nothing. he was a demon from hell, part earth, part fire, part air and part water. The earth part nullified any form of shock.
"Time for a battle of the elements!"
Dayle held out his hand and used his demonic powers to shatter the ground barrier to nothing. His chains magically raised into teh air, prepared to counter any form of attack he would throw.
"What name do I carve on your tombstone?"

When he broke the barrier however he found soemthign very different from what he had just fought. A large black dragon was looming over him, this dragon was infact Rook but he had no way of knwoing that. Lifting one mighty foreleg it proceeded to pin him against the earth and take tight hold. A rather sinister voice came from Rook although his mouth did not move.
"You're getting a little ahead of your self arnt you? So funny how easily I could kill you with a flick of my tail yet that would be no fun at all now would it." Rook proceeded to put mor pressure on the insignifigant being under him.

Dayle smiled. his body soon became flames, which a conviently cast wind spell pusjed away from teh foot, and solidified teh flames a few meters away.
"My elements will kill you!"
Dayles lipless smile grew as giant rocks started hailing on teh cursed dragon from above.

The flames never solidified however. Rook simple manipulated thje air to seperate completely from Dayle's position. Without oxygen fire could not exist, since Dayle had comverted every molecule of his being to flames he no longer could exist in that form and the sudden shoke of near death would put him in no position to change moleculer structure wich would be potentially deadly since he molecules would become more and more mixed up thus making reconstruction a very difficult and time consuming process.

(( I'm not saying that you are dead but you left yourself open to an increadibly devistating attack wich basically would kill you in a RL situation. Call pwnd in two posts.))

A dull roar was released as the flames slowly died away. The demon Dayle had now been sent to the underworld again, and would wait another thousand years to break free from his prison...

(it's called interviening, if you had experience you would know that. want an example? here; the rules clearly state the suggestion of posting so that your characters would have room to move around should a counter attack occur, You posted that sequence in absolutes meaning your character was set to do that. had you put then solidified instead of and you would have flexability but you didnt. Plus it's obvious you made up that earth part becuase you realized you had made a stupid mistkae so dont bullshit with me becuase I amy not be a long time member of this guild but i've been rp fighting for years pal and i've seen peopel with more skill you could concieve.))

((I dont have experience...granted...but it still seems rather goddish. and you dont need to get so high and mighty about it. Fine, yu win, I'm dead, you have your first kill. enjoy))
