Synopsis: It's two in the morning, I've got a couple of beers in my system, and I've been thinking all day about coming back to the site. It's been a while since I've made my rounds, but here I am. And I'm picking up right where I left off in the Arena with a fresh idea.

Well, it's not that fresh of an idea. The name comes from a comic that I drew waaay back in high school. The premise is two people hellbent on killing each other. No plot, no backstory, just over-the-top, ridiculous gun kata. Oh, and cool points. Outrageous moves earn you cool points, and at the end of the fight, no matter who stands victorious and who lies in a bloody pile, the person with the most cool points is the GFFNR match winner.

Stats will be kept in this very thread detailing each player that participates in a GFFNR match. I'll be keeping track of characters, kills, deaths, wins, consecutive wins, losses, total cool points, and abandonment of threads.

Wanna bring a knife to a gunfight? Go ahead. Bring nothing, if you want. Or whatever. I named the tourny "Gunfight," but really, anything goes. Anybody is welcome; from martial arts masters to people who'd rather just pull a fresh firearm from their coat than reload. So long as you follow the arena rules, that is.

Judging: So who makes the calls on the cool points system? Me, of course.

Unless I'm in a fight. Then, I'd rather find an unbiased judge, since "cool" is a subjective term. But there will be a consistent scale of badassery from one to ten, and fifty for extreme, unprecedented awesomeness.

Points can also be taken away on a scale of one to ten.

I'll be looking for judges immediately, so anyone who's interested should mention it here, or PM me.

In the event that I'm unable to find an impartial judge during the fight, cool points will be added and totaled after the fight as soon as a suitable judge is found.

I'll be posting the first fight within the next few days. Fights will almost always be one on one, except on special occasions. The winner will get to go on to the next fight, unless they want a break from kicking ass. Who they fight depends who is next up on the fight list, which is determined by the order in which people contact me to get into the game. If the list gets big enough, I may end up organizing more than one fight thread.

Appearance :: Issac is a very imposing man. Hardened from years of service on the front lines, fighting everything from arcane horrors to amorphous clouds of Grey goo, his appearance looks of wisdom and experience beyond his years. Unlike most modern day generals, Issac fought with his troops, leading the charge instead of commanding it; Although it served him well, it left him massively scarred physically.

His face is tanned and leathery -a result of constant time in the elements- and possesses several deep scars running from jaw to brow all across it. A strong jaw and brow give him a fearsome and strong appearance, adding to his reputation as a fearsome man. His gray hair is cut in a simple crew cut, standing out against his lightly tanned face. His right eye is a sparkling green, while his right eye is something entirely different. Replacing the normal white iris of his right eye is a glowing blue section of Nano-Optical Technology that allows the General to see in the EM and Thermal spectrum's. (More information in 'Abilities') He wears a navy-blue General's peak cap with a golden Technocracy monad.

Issac's physique is strong and chiseled, but covered under his armor and lose General's uniform. The uniform is custom tailored to his body, fitting snugly against his form while not being tight in the least. The entire uniform is made from navy-blue synthetic fabric that resists rips, weathering, and high-heat.

Welcome to GFFNR, Kronos. With a little luck, we can find a judge and be on our way. If not, we'll be trying out the "judge each other" idea, and finding out how well that works. I'm thinking either that, or cool points can be left out of matches where there is no impartial judge.

Awesome, I'd be glad to have you judge. Didn't think I'd find a judge so fast.

I'd like to have you judge per-post, even posting in the fight thread as we go along. My suggestion is to keep it simple. Here's an example of how I'd do it:

Or however you see fit. Just so long as the points scale (+1-10, or +50 in extreme cases, -1-10) remains consistent with all judges so that the total points tally won't get buggered up.
