The genre is fantasy. The setting will be in the ruins of a city during the close of a battle between two opposing armies.

Your character may be anything from a warrior to a spellcaster, but please don't be carried away with any powers.

Supporting characters / NPCs may feature.

Your profile may include whatever details you want, but please include: character's race, and weapons/powers/skills. These things do not have to be visible or apparent IC.

Name: Lancrist

Weapons: Longsword, crossbow

Skills: Lancrist is a master swordsman.

Powers:

- Mindtheft: Lancrist dominates the mind of a lesser individual and super-imposes his consciousness upon theirs**. The body he leaves behind becomes a vegetable. The physical characterstics of the body he captures remain the same; such as fitness, any ailments, etc. However, he does not gain their intelligence, memories, etc.

- Telepathy: Lancrist can project telepathic messages. He can only receive messages from another telepathic individual.

Short Background: Lancrist is a member of an ancient race of humans known as the Pau Tantoi, who are masters of manipulating the mind. Because of the limitations of their power their empire was eventually destroyed, and now but few of them survive, hidden among the rest of humankind. Their powers vary; from telekinesis to precognition.

While Lancrist has sustained his life by transferring his mind from body to body, his consciousness will eventually deteriorate. In Pau Tantoi lore, the oldest mindthief, Mashindhas, existed for 194 years.

Skills: Aside from being an extremely skilled swordsman, he's completely insane, along with his insane speed and agility.

Powers-

A Stroke of Insanity: At one point, he'll recieve an extra boost in speed, or a "stroke of insanity", during then, he's extremely immoral, and will kill indiscriminately. But it's not like he did that before he got this stroke.

Crescent Sever: This is a ranged attack, slashing and sending a beam of the user's energy. He'll spam this at a few points.
