I can't believe my server has lasted this long with all the activity. I've only made small optimizations to the software to accommodate the climbing user-base and subsequent activity yet the server hasn't crashed and my host hasn't complained to me and we're still chugging along.

I'm trying to get an idea of how long we're loading for you all. I have load time statistics from the server itself, but I'd like to hear it from those that actually do the page-loading.

Feel free to comment. Does load-time change at certain hours? Do you ever leave RPGuild and do something else because it's taking so long? Etc!

I acualy have the time to run out of my room, grab a glass, pour some soda/tea in to it, and run back into my room, jump over my bed, and it's just come up on my screen, course, my laptop is from two years ago, so that might be it intead of the server for me

Everytime the sites laggy there happens to be about 50+ guests or something. Though last night it was a bit slow too, generally about 6PM EDT (about 11-12-ish GMT) though sometimes it's been lagging at different loads and at different times during the day, it's pretty random though, so no definate times. Could just be my computer at times, but i have conciously checked this site against others.

Mine takes 5-6 seconds or so, which isn't so bad since alot of sites take that long for me. Sometimes it can take 15 seconds or up (way up a few weeks ago) but thats rare-ish and doesn't particularly bother me much, hell my ISP's website does that from time to time.

I use a T3 at my school so the pages load when I've made about 0.000000001/100 of a sandwich. On my home computer (yeah the one with the crappy dial-up) actually works pretty well. About 5 secs (which isn't that long guys). The only trouble I have at home is the fact that I don't have the schedule time to get online.

But I do support what Tsardel was saying. It usually runs slower when it gets up to about 50+ people (including guests).

Well, i'm actually getting some hardcore loading time.... like 5 seconds.

Seems pretty random for me, too. Sometimes, it's nearly instantaneous, and other times I'm waiting for 7+ seconds.

I don't think my vote counts, considering that I'm far from the server. I have 8mbit/s ADSL, but there are times when the page loads reeeaaallyy slow.

Let's see, usually it loads for me in 3-4 seconds, thats the normal value that i'm used to, but lately there are times when it loads forever. I experienced nice "Error 404, no such website or it loads really slow blah blah" screens, but the page loaded after a refresh button click.
