First of all, if you missed the last news item, you can read it here.
Keep Out-Of-Character (OOC) Chatter OUT of In-Character (IC) Roleplay Threads If you want to talk about the thread, you shall do so by making an OOC thread for your roleplay in the OOC subforum. THERE you can talk out of character about things like absense, what is going on, ask questions, clarify the plot, etc. From now on, we will be more strict on this issue. We don't mind a brief OOC message attached to your next IC post, but we DO mind a post that consists only of OOC chatter within the IC thread. If you see heavy OOC dialogue in a IC thread, please report it to me or any of the other Moderators. Additionally, I am recruiting more Moderators to help deal with such problems. If you're one of the people who are reported for OOC chatter in an IC thread, you will be warned. If you don't listen to the warnings, you may be temporarily suspended from posting in the roleplay forums. After suspension, if you continue to disobey the simple OOC rules, then you can take a guess at the consequences. OOC chatter is disruptive to roleplaying. If you have something to say, either talk freely in the associated OOC subforum or utilize the private message system. I know that the rules are unclear which is why we will be lax until the new rulesets and documentation is updated so everyone is aware of the rules of the forum. |
