RpG Looks to the Horizon
The Guild is now looking to the horizon with new ideas and interesting inovations that will help shape this spam-filled site into a totally organized super structure. No, I'm not talking about total commercialism, but I'm talking about the implementation of some new features. A both yes and no on what you're probably thinking right now. No: the chat box isn't up and running yet, but we're getting to that. Yes: we've found out something new. So what's so great about our new discovery? Find out next time! Ha!

S/P Board Cluttered With...Ads?
As most of you know by now, I've recently set up a more organized list of suggestions for Mahz and us mods to look at whenever we feel like opening our ears to your pesky complaints...(humor there people, chill out). We wouldn't have to have this thing if the Suggestions/Problems Board wasn't filled up with a bunch of who wants to join rp trash that I had to weed through to find the good stuff. Here's a little tip for everyone...those aren't suggestions....or problems! The advertisment in this board has gone one step too far and it needs to end, immediatly. The hunting for players in your roleplays needs to be done in the OTD or by PM. When I was creating the organized suggestion box I had to sift through pages that took me back only four weeks to gather 'enough' suggestions for Mahz and the other mods to busy themselves with. I only found a handful of those and most of the stuff in there had nothing to do with a problem and definitely were not suggestions. I hate to rant about stuff like this, as it can be easily solved with a little use of the old noggin, but when the problem persists for weeks at a time, then something's seriously wrong. So, for the last time, if you need to recruit, be mature about it and go to the OTD or to it via PM. Also, don't forget about the sections at the bottom of this page. If your roleplay is hot over the week then it just may be selected to be placed in the Hottest Roleplays section. If not, then you can always send me a PM to have it officially advertised and then you are void getting yelled at by us mods for spamming and advertising where you're not supposed to.

One more thing and then I promise I'll move onto the Foreign with Candi. If you feel like your suggestion or problem is not being heard, then please, please, please, send it to me to be posted in the Letters to the Editor. No one can flame you, no one can touch you, and best of all...the mods will hear it (I mean see it....in your typed words....)!

Fanfic hits the Fan
We have all undoubtedly heard of the Harry Potter book series. And we all know at least one die hard fan who has dedicated themselves to the Potter Universe in a level often only attributed to Star Trek fans. Every great series has its fic, but when is fanfic copyright infringement?

The creator of the Harry Potter Lexicon website has apparently gone too far when he has started to attempt to publish his work in the form of a book which will be available retail for 25$ US. J.K. Rowling feels her work is being stolen and that this is just going too far. She stated she enjoys the web site but publishing a book that is just the rearrangement of her own stories and charging money for it is just too far.

She fears that the results of this trial may have serious impact on the world of fan fiction.

1. Against All Odds: The Final Chapter

Join Aerandir, a Cursed Dragonare, on his quest to avenge his family and save a kingdom along with his companions, or join Aaron, The man who stands in Aerandir's way. Based on my work in progress The Dragon elf, I may use your character for my book!

2. A Civil War is still looking for active members.

Its a Naruto-themed Rp. It revolves around the death of Naruto as the Hokage. The village has been segregated and an off-branch has been built near the village where all the Hyuugas have gone.
The Hyuuga clan are the current threat as they have decided to overcome the now leaderless Village.

3. Journey

Join Johnny Powers and James Davy as they train and capture Pokemon throughout the Sinnoh region and more. Travel with them to the 8 gyms of Hoenn, Kanto, Sinnoh, and Johto. Join the vast Pokemon Journey. Old members are now inactive. Still seeking new members.

The Letters to the Editor section will not be posted today as I have not received any letters. So please send me some for next week's article as soon as possible!
