 RpG .:  :.Issue #6! 4-22-08 Enjoy! Domestic - RpG Related RpG Looks to the Horizon (continued) As promised in the last issue, here are the ideas that we have been discussing: start up a PW, incorporate a wiki, upload new updates, and (the big one) Split Off-Topic Disc into Intelligent Disc and "Fast Threads." Let me explain these. PW (or Persistent World) is a complex roleplay game that will be placed into forums and sub-forums set up specifically for it. In PW, there is only one setting (modern day), but it can take place anywhere in the world. I'll post up the rules and standards later. Blackfire has been working on this (he calls it his baby) for a long time and he introduced it to us not long ago. Mahz has introduced to us the wiki incorporation after a suggestion from a member. The wiki will be able to be used for many things; articles, searching, roleplay information, guides, rules, and even lists of active roleplays and dead roleplays. Mahz is also about to update the site again soon, so we can all hopefully move a little faster and more efficiently. We have finally come to a decision on this one....yes, the OTD issue. Yay! This forum will be cracked right down the middle with our awesome hammer of doom that I have hired some thug to forge (joking there) and we will create separate forums for Intelligent Discussions and "Fast Threads". Fast threads will be for your spam and fun game threads (this includes: joke threads, rant threads, RP interest checks, quote threads, and 'rate the whatever' threads). The Intelligent forum will consist of topics that warrant more developed responses than your typical "Rate the Avatar Above You" thread. This forum will be more strict than the Fast Threads forum and will be heavily moderated. Any thread that has the potential to fall to the clutches of spam and nonsense will either be moved to the Fast Threads or just plane deleted and each member that partakes in the spamming will be issued a warning by PM. This is a major leap into better organizing the RpG and we hope this earth-shattering split will work out. Members Demand RPBs RPB and character sheet areas. Walker of Darkness brought this up previously and according to RpG AP press results, his idea of bringing back the Arena forum was shot down. A majority of the guild was against it and thus the people had spoken. But now, this very idea has been brought back up and with a different light too! It seems that a few members really do want a seperate place to act out formal RPBs. The thread focuses on the problems with the Arena and answers have been given that may off-set the previous voting results. A formal AP poll will be set up shortly after this article is release for the members to submit their ideas on the issue for a final time. Foreign - Offsite Related Rice Suggests Carter Confused Peace Process NYTimes "We wanted to make sure there would be no confusion and there would be no sense that Hamas was somehow a party to peace negotiations between Israel and more moderate Palestinians," said Ms. Rice, speaking on the margins of an international meeting here on aid to Iraq. Ms. Rice also affirmed that the State Department had explicitly advised Mr. Carter not to meet with Hamas, which the United States considers a terrorist group. Mr. Carter told National Public Radio on Monday that he had not received a clear signal from the Bush administration before leaving on his Middle East tour last week. “We counseled President Carter against going to the region and particularly against having contacts with Hamas,” Ms. Rice said, responding to questions from reporters. Mr. Carter has defended his personal diplomacy with Hamas, which controls Gaza, saying any final peace settlement would have to include the militant group. It revolves around the death of Naruto as the Hokage. The village has been segregated and an off-branch has been built near the village where all the Hyuugas have gone. The Hyuuga clan are the current threat as they have decided to overcome the now leaderless Village. 3. Journey Join Johnny Powers and James Davy as they train and capture Pokemon throughout the Sinnoh region and more. Travel with them to the 8 gyms of Hoenn, Kanto, Sinnoh, and Johto. Join the vast Pokemon Journey. Old members are now inactive. Still seeking new members. The Letters to the Editor section will not be posted today as I have not received any letters. So please send me some for next week's article as soon as possible! Coming Soon! The PW is just about ready to launch. It will begin as a moderator only forum but will be open for members to view and get an idea about. For now, we're just waiting for some final touch-ups (rule formats for combat and such) and then when everything is finally set up, we'll launch it. After a while (after the 'test run') we'll open up the gates for all members to join and participate in.
