And why is is a day late?" Or you may not be wondering, but in any case I bring with me sad news for the RpG. Rogue47 will be taking a leave of absence. How long this will be is unknown, will he drop in from time to time to see us, who knows. His school has recently updated firewalls and blocked out site -- what an atrocity -- and consequently his ability to frequent the Guild has diminished. He put me tentatively in charge of the AP, and has asked me to let everyone know and that he will be temporarily bowing out of any RP he is currently taking part in. Members Demand RPBs (continued from last week) The results of the pole regarding the potential reinstatement of the RPB forum is inconclusive. With only 8 members voting we had a 5 vs 3 split yay vs nay. With no one abstaining. What does this say to me? We need more votes! Radiohead, a British rock band, had released an album late last year on a "pay what you want" basis, offering the entire musical composition online for free and then releasing it later as a CD (which inevitably topped the charts). They say they won't do it again, and it was just a response to current issues nor have they said if the venture was successful on the business end of things. However, other artists are considering the possibility of free media. These include Prince and Nine Inch Nails - as well as Coldplay who are releasing a single from the upcoming album on their web site for free.
