Exams Over With and Admin is Back in Action!

Yes, you heard me right, folks! Mahz has just finished up the last of his stupid exams and as soon as some more free time rolls around, he'll be cracking down on those seemingly mythological updates that we're all ranting about. Chat box? Don't ask. Blog thingy? Sure, okay. Wiki? Okay, now you're just bugging me for the fun of it. But first thing's first, we're going to finish with the touch-ups of Blackfire's Persistent World idea (his little baby) and launch the forums for that entire new section. I'm sure we all can't wait to just jump right into some new fun and get going on a totally (well...not so new) idea. So, feel free to clutter Mahz's PM inbox with "congrats on your exams" messages and bug him until he can get those updates up. He's probably going to kill me for saying that by the way.




Rescuers Struggle to Reach Quake Survivors

BEIJING — Tens of thousands of people across southwest China remained buried beneath rubble on Tuesday as rescue workers struggled to reach areas cut off by a massive earthquake that has left 12,000 dead and hundreds of thousands of others injured and homeless.

The authorities said that more than 10,000 people were still unaccounted for in the city of Minzhu and another 2,300 were missing in the collapse of a school and two factories in the town of Shifang.
By early evening Tuesday, the official death toll stood at 11,921, according to state media, making it China’s biggest natural disaster in three decades. Officials said they thought the death toll could still climb dramatically higher.

Editor's Commentary- This roleplay greatly intrigued me. The title brought me back to an old debate that I've had several times with others and even my own pastor. This thread even got me started on creating a discussion in the OTD and so far, I'm quite amazed to see such philosophical thinking on this site. This is definitely one of the most well set up roleplays that I've seen on this board. The Preface is absolutely captivating and the backstory has set up an adventure that sucked me in like a magnet on speed. I look forward to roleplaying in this particular story and hope that more do too. Hats off to the author - Brivta.
