David drove his motorcycle down the street, far past the speed limit. He was a speed demon, among other things as well. Looking at his speed-o-meter, he laughed as it hit over 130Mph. In retrospec, it would probably be best if he wore his helmet, but he really never did like the thing. First day of school, he was both excited, and very annoyed. He didn't like that summer was ending, but he was excited beacuse school was usually rather fun.

Turning his bike quickly, he pulled up into the parking lot of the school. Finding a parking spot quickly, he hit the break and left a long skid mark across the parking lot as he hoped off and pulled his keys outa the ignition. "Time to meet new people." he said with a laugh as he stuffed his keys into his jacket pocket.

Arrayah walked just like she always had. This was a new place, and she was a little scared, but she stood up straight and proudly. She'd been to knew places before, and usually they were alright. This place will be good.. I'll be able to stay at this one... She smiled walking up to the school before stopping at the door and sitting on a fence outside. She looked around, but it seemed most people weren't here yet. "Ah well.. just have to wait then." She pulled out her green ipod and turned it on full blast.

Walking around the building, figuring noone would be inside for the moment, David took a cigerett out of his pocket after patting him self down looking for his pack. Putting the cig into his mouth as he walked close to the front door. Seeing the girl sit on the fence, he grinned. Sweet, he didn't have to be board waiting for other to show up. Pulling out his zippo, he lit his cig up as he came over. He didn't bother saying hi seeing as she just had her headphones in, so for the moment, he just stood there blowing out a cloud of smoke. What he loved about smokeing, was the smell that came from the burning paper.

Arrayah looked over raising an eyebrow before taking out her headphones. "Do you mind? You're blowing smoke in my face." She smiled a little. She loved the smell of smoke.. but cigarette smoke was too contaminated with other chemicals. Plus, she knew how bad it was. She sighed, pulling her red gloves up a little higher. She loved this outfit. She'd bought it off the internet. It was supposed to be fire proof, but she wasn't so sure. The black and red corset and the matching skirt looked normal enough but it did have a different feel to it. Ah well.. she thought to herself and extended a hand. "The name's Arrayah. And you are?"

Taking in one big drag off the ciggertte, he blew the smoke out to the side away from the girl before he threw the bud down and stomped it out. He wasn't an entirely in considerate person, just mostly. Reaching out, he took the girls hand for a moment before smileing. "David." he replied. "Or Dave, Davey, Da. Or my personal favorite. Pyro" He said with a grin. "I got the name beacuse i have this little obsession with fire. Anyway, I don't think i've seen you around here before." he said as he looked at her. He knew he'd remember her if he had seen her before. Hell, she was the kinda girl guys dreamt about. From looks anyway.

Arrayah laughed. "Pyro. I think we'll get along." She said. "I'm a big fan of fire myself, and birds. I love birds." Just the thought brought a warm smile to her face. Bringing herself back to reality, she answered his question. "I'm actually not from around here though. Just moved in down the street." She pointed in the general direction. "It's a nice place though, I like it." And it was true. It wasn't like the other places, but it wasn't exactly cheap to live here either, and she was paying for herself.

David just chuckled. "Awesome, its always fun to make new friends, makes things more interesting though life." Pulling out his zippo, he lit it as he held it between them. "The allure of the flame, the way it dances in the light, is so beautiful." Slowly, he ran his hand over the flame, "Its interesting. You can play with the fire as much as you want. So long as you respect the power it holds, you can get away with it unharmed. All it asks for is respect." he said as he continued to stair into the open flame. Finally though he snapped the zippo shut and looked back up. "Sorry bout that, spaced out alittle." Looking back to where she had pointed he whistled slightly. "Those houses cost a ton. Not bad though. What do your parents do for a living?" He asked.

Arrayah blinked coming back from her own dreams of the fire. Fire... the warmth.. the light.. always bringing me back..It was all she had in this world, and so she loved it, more than any human could now. But he was right about something, as long as you respected it, it would work for you. "Um.. they... they're scientists.." She muttered. It was a lie. In reality she worked at a fast food place, and in her spare time had to steal quite a lot to pay for the house. However, she wasn't about to tell him that.

David just chuckled as he looked at her with a mischivous smile. "Are they now. Thats interesting." He said. One he loved was when people who knew him tried to lie to him. One thing about him, he wasn't easily lied to. He could read expressions to a point, and her's was as clear as a billboard. All the same he let it pass for the moment. "So your new here huh? Mind if I see your class shedule?" He asked holding out his hand with a warm smile.

Arrayah frowned. He wasn't buying it, which didn't make her happy, but at least he wasn't pursuing the topic either. She smiled at that and began digging in her bag that hung on her shoulder. With a grin she pulled out her schedule. They always put her in what they thought were the smart classes. It wasn't her fault she had about oh.. 2000 years to learn things, but still, school bored her. The only reason she went was to meet new people. She quietly handed him the schedule, he seemed like one of those people who would laugh at her.
