She shrugged, she'd taken some singing class instead. It was something she enjoyed. But she was surprised, this guy didn't look smart. Then again, she knew how well looks could decieve you. "Well Mr. Smarty pants, I can't draw very well. My singing, a different story." She winked before jumping down and taking her schedule back. People were starting to get there. She liked people, but crowds not so much. They made her nervous.

David just chuckled as he watched the people coming this way. "Well, maybe i'll get the pleasure of hearing your singing voice some day." he said with a sly grin. "Come on, I'll show you around before school starts. Don't want to get lost on your first day now do you." He said as he walked over to the door. Opening it, he proped it open with his foot before bowing. "After you of course my lady." he said with an old english accent. Civil as always.

Arrayah giggled. She hadn't seen something like that in a century. He was nice, so she didn't mention the fact that she was used to finding her way and would have no problem. "Why thank you my kind sir," she said while cursying, trying hard not to laugh. "Where to first?" She asked, but she led the way anyways. Yes she thought to herself I think we'll get along.

Despite the fact that she was the one actually leading, David just chuckled and walked beside her. "How about the lockers first, they are like a home away from home." he said with a grin. Looking at her from the corner of his eye, he still couldn't help but admire her beauty. She was like something you'd see in a painting of a beautiful angel coming out of the night sky. It was odd though, David wasn't usually the kind of person to gawk. But for some reason he couldn't help it this time. "So how you like the town so far?" he asked looking ahead finally.

Arrayah tried to hide her smile. It was cute how he kept looking at her, but she felt a little bad. It wasn't his fault. People were just naturally attracted to her that way. It was the pheonix in her, but he wouldn't know that. Instead of pointing it out to him though she just nodded, "Lockers sound fine. And it's nice, first person I met today seems rather nice. However he can't seem to stop looking at me," She giggled. She hadn't wanted to say something about it, but she just couldn't help herself.

David just chuckled, though slightly embarresed he refused to show it no matter what. "Im sure the guy had his reasons. After all, you look amazing." He said straght-forward with a half grin. "Besides, how could he not admire your beauty." he said with a chuckle as they reached the lockers, more specically his locker. "Well, here's my home away from home." he said as he pointed to the one with 126 on it. "What would your locker number be?" he asked with a polite tone.

She grinned, usually the guys just turned away and mumbled. Definetely going to get along... I can joke with this guy. She thought to herself. But she blushed a little, sure the guys always stared but hardly ever gave her an actual compliment. It was nice to hear. "Thanks.. I guess. And uh... " She looked down at her hand where she'd written it down. "130. I think.." She held out her hand to him with a frown. "That's what that says right?" The contacts in her eyes made it a little hard to read at times.

Takeing her hand, he looked at the numbers written on it. He didn't understand why she couldn't read it but all the same he nodded. "Yup. 130 it is." he with a grin. "Wow, seems your gonna be stuck with me for most of the day." he said with a a smirk. "Guess fate loves me this year. Next stop, the all important room." he said before pausing and looking back at her with a wide smile. "The lunch room." he said as he just now released her hand, just notcing that he was still holding it.

Arrayah raised an eyebrow, "The lunch room is all important? Would you please care to explain?" She followed after him batting her eyelashes before laughing to herself. The lunchroom actually was important to her. It was usually the only place where she could blend in and actually make friends. The people in her classes were usually intimidated that she just knew it all even when she didn't even pay attention, and outside of school she was always working.
