David continued to smile even as the flames grew hotter and hotter. "So the fire isn't your pawn, no one can say they control the flames." He said as he reached out, and let his hand run through the flames. "Yet Still I don't get burned." He said holding up his hand as the flame engulfed his hand, though did not burn him. "I understand. Fire is alive. It breaths, it feels, it loves and it hates." He said looking at the fire in his hand before he wave the flames away. "I respect the flames, and in return, they don't burn me."

Arrayah watched carefully, still not believing. "David.. it's not that easy, I've lived with these flames all my life. They do live, they're alive. And if one day you make them angry, they will no longer allow you to do this.."

David simply nodded. He knew that already. "I know full well that, that is a possiablity. But That's only If I get arrogent, if I stop respecting the flames, then they'll turn against me. That's just the way it works. But I do respect them, and they don't burn me." He said takeing a step closer. "So you don't have to be afraid of hurting me."

Arrayah tried to step back, but her legs wouldn't work. She wanted to believe his words so much. She wanted him to come to her, and hold her, and love her. She needed all of it to be true. She pleaded to the God's that he would never be burned by her, and they would be together for a very long time.

David just smiled warmly as he stepped into her flames, not harmed at all from the fires. Looking at Arrayah, he smiled. "Arrayah, don't you see. It was fate we met. Someone who can truely understand the fires, to be with you without fear." He said as he reached out and wraped his arms around her. "Im meant to be here, to be with you." He said before he pulled her close, And kissed her passionatly.

As Arrayah wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer, she knew he was right. No other person could be with her. They would be harmed. No other person was brave enough to even stay, let alone walk into the fire to get her.
