Brynacha

Mud-spattered as she usually was, though even more so today, Dianthe ran and ran away, away from the forest where her caravan lay hacked into pieces and afire, away from her family members who were scattered in terror all over the forest, if they weren’t dead already, away from the hateful men with big horses and swords. A gash, dark and bloody, was drawn across her body from the middle of her ribcage to her hip, but she could not thing about that, painful thought it was. Her patterned skirt swished around her bare feet as she ran, tyring to block out the physical and emotional pain. I just need to get to civilization…I need to find someone….

After what seemed like hours of running, Dianthe came across a house on the edge of the forest. She cried out in relief, tears running down her face and went to the door, knocking on it weakly. Heart beating fast and feeling very light-headed, she slumped down on the ground and finally saw the bloody mess on her body.

Iron Man

Corey was sitting in his cabin, hidden away in the woods, he had been enjoying a peaceful nap when his door was banged upon. He went to the door and oopened it. He looked down to see, to his horror, a young girl with a bloody cut across her. He lifted her with ease and took her in the house. He took her into the room and layed her her down. For the next while he carefully cleaned the wound and closed it up.

When he was sure she was ok, he went back to his cahir and slept, he waited until she was awake.

Brynacha

Dianthe could vaguely tell that she was being carried, that someone was touching her wound. “No…No..” she moaned, seeing not the face of a savior but of the killers in her camp. She fell into a feverish sleep, one twisted and contorted by pain and fear.

When Dianthe woke, she woke quickly. She started to sit up, wondering where she was, and then felt the stabbing pain across her stomach. She gasped tremendously and cried out in pain and fear, sweat dabbing at her forehead.

Iron Man

Corey was suddenly awakened by the girl sitting up. "Lay down, you might break the stitching." He said. "My name is Corey, i am the one who helped you. Who are you? And what happened to you?" He asked standing up and walking over to her, wiping the sweat from her brow with a towel.

Brynacha

Dianthe did as she was told, tears picking at her eyes. "I am Dianthe," she said. "My caravan was attacked...It's...I don't know who...my family scattered." She swallowed back tears and gazed up at her savior. "Thank you," she whispered.

Iron Man

"Theres no need to thank me, i was just doing the right thing." He said. "You say you were attacked. That cant be a good sign, your well hidden here for now though." He said.

Brynacha

"Oh, I can't stay," said Dianthe, voice raised in fear. "My family is still out there. We need to find them, and make sure they're alright." She struggled into a vague sitting position and gasped at the pain shooting through her body. "Help me up," she pleaded.

Iron Man

"You rets, ill go out and look, if i find anyone ill bring them here." Corey said leaving, he searched around but found only dead bodies. He returned with a solemn look. "I didnt find anyone alive, maybe they escaped and are hiding." He said.

Brynacha

"Oh," said Dianthe, and despair flooded through her. Tears did come streaming out of her eyes this time, and she shook with painful, convulsive sobs. She rolled over and away from him on the bed so that he wouldn't see her cry. "Thank you for trying," she whispered, feeling sad and depressed.

Iron Man

Corey sat beside her. "Dont fear the worst, always think positive. You will see them again." He said
