Sort of a variation of the plot of the Jackie chan cartoon.

The world shook to its core as the demons circled one another at Mount Fuujin. The demons furiously attacked each other with the intensity of nature. Thunder destroyed the landscape as earthquakes cracked and scarred the land. Tidel waves and furious hurricanes rained dominant over th oceans and seas. The world was at the edge of complete annialation, that was until the chosen 8 rised up at mount Fuujin. After an intense battle the Chosen 8 seemed utterly doomed, but there leader had a hidden magic. A powerful magic he used to seal away the demons into 8 seperate stones, each to be gaurded by one of the Chosen 8 until the day they died. Only to be inherited by the Chosen ones of the next generation. Possessing the stones allowed the Chosen ones to harness the natural powers of the Demons within them. Though unknown to the Chosen 8 the magic binding the demons within the stones is slowly wearing out, and unless the spell is preformed again the world will fall into the darkness again.

You are a chosen one..... And the seals on the stones won't last your lifetime.

The RP will take place in modern day New York. The demons have made there way to the City to find their chosen one. Your first couple post should you finding or stumbling upon the stone, and experiencing its power for the first time.

Demons:
Life/Death- The reaper demon who has the power to grant and take life. Though its power to give is directly related to how much it takes.
Cloud- Demon of thunder and lightning, once dwelling in the sky with His spouse the Sky demon they had absolute control of the air.
Sky- Wife of the Cloud demon with the power to manipulate the any wind current at her whim.
Water- Guardian of the Oceans, seas, and rivers. The Water demon holds the power of hurricanes and tsunami's.
Earth- The Ruler of the east the Earth demon controls all mountains and valleys holding the power of earthquakes.
Beast- With the power to change its body a will, calling forth and body part both animal and monster. Also with the power to summon beast and creature at whim.
Fire-ability to manipulate flames and valcanos at will.
Hunter- The arch enemy of the Beast demon, The Hunter can summon any weapon it desires to be weilded at a master level.


This is a rough mockup I came up with last night. Im requesting any critiques or suggestions anyone has because I want this thing to work. Also the demons and their powers are highly negotiable. This is gonna be Low to medium casual, at least a post or 2 a do from everyone though.

I like the idea but for two things. Sky and cloud are really similar. Air-wind. I see no big difference. Air is wind, wind is moving air. That's just repetitive. How about making cloud like thunderstorms or something?

What do you mean by "race" by the way?

no no no Air and Wind are both powers of the sky demon, the cloud demon controls lightning and thunder.

Race as in black, white, hispanic..... theres no elves or werewolves in this one.... just demons :P

Ah, you should clarify that more. Got confused with the whole together they control air thing when the sky demon already controlled it.

I see, figured as much but I don't see many RPs that ask for that. XD

lol yea i see where you could have gotten confused, I wanted them to be married in the past life so the ones with there stones would be more favorable of each other same with the beast and hunter demons being enemies.
