Hello!
My Names Shard, Or ShardChan, or Shard-San, Depending On weather or not someone has taken Shard as their screen name already.
Anyway, I'm New to this site (As you can probably tell cause I'm Posting a Greetings Thread)
I've been Role playing for Years, it Started with e-mails back and forth, then it moved to Forums, and then to Instant Messenger and Chat Sites, Then Summer Ended and My friends and I would raid wal-mart for their 10 Cent notebooks as we'd go through hundreds every year passing them back and forth between classes with replies to RP's. (Good Times, Good Times)
Well, This year not only have my friends and I Exhausted every story line we can think of, but I no longer attend regular school. (I now attend an Internet High school) So for the past few months, I've been almost at a Standstill when it comes to RPing, Save the really boring one liners through instant messenger.

So off to the search engine I went, and after sifting through a few hundred sites, I Found this one.

And I Registered, and Here I Am. To get to the point, Hi Everyone!!!

Wow. I wish I had rping friends like that when I was in school. (not that I am old or anything, but I certainly am not in highschool anymore, lol. That is, if you don't count college.) o.o

Anywho...I am new here too, yay. When you start to look around please watch your step. That first step is an accident waiting to happen as I have discovered.

By the way...Is there a "Rules" Thread around here...Anywhere?

I've Searched..and Searched..and Searched...but the only rules I can find are the likes of Like, Advanced Roleplay Rules, or what not that simply talk about Post count per day and Minimum post limit etc etc. But....has this forum no rules about Content of RP's ? Like...A Rateing System? or something similar?

EDIT: After a few more searches I Found a post in the announcement of the November winner of a prize (Congrats to the winner) that not only stated that this forum does not have a set Rule thread, but the Answer to my question. What are the rules of the content of said RP's and OOC Posts? Use Your Common Sense. Violence is okay to be rated R, (Which was why i asked the above question) But Sex is not (Which is awesome for a site like this). Before I left all my previouse RP forums...I had one or two that asked us to keep our violence and descriptions of such to PG rateing...which can kind of Kill some RP's with an intended violent nature. Now knowing this i don't intend to leave right away (As I might've had the rating of violence been so low) Yay I Think Yours is the site i will Stick with ^_^ You win RpG!

Thank You ^_^ Welcome as well. From what I can tell, we can mention it , but probably can't go into detail describing what happens blah blah blah. I'm Sure if we implied sex But skipped the actual scene, that would be fine. (But Im new, so I dont know)

Gee...I was a little late in answering your question.

You seemed to have taken care of it though. I believe you are right concerning what you read in that post. Although, I am very new to this forum as well so I could be wrong.

If it is still a concern to you I can direct you to a moderator who would be happy to answer (an answer with authority ). I know one who was very nice to help me with some questions of my own.

Well, Thanks for all your help, But I Think I've got it Figured out for now ^_^ If I Come up with some more questions I'll be sure to let you know.
