| Trigger-Pulling Tempest.  Join Date: May 2010 Location: Wonderland. | ; COLUMBINE. ( interest check. ) PLOT overview ; Humanity was unprepared when vampires started walking into their world of sunlight and souls. When the children of the night began revealing themselves all over the world, hostility from the humans became an inevitability. Vampires attempting to "fit in" were damned even deeper into their personal hells, and those trying to coax humans into befriending them were staked and burned. These unvicil actions then became the cause to countless wars, fights and brawls....And, eventually, humanity's distrust paved the way to World War III. And as the war continued and as innocent blood was being spilled, more and more humans - - the so-called "masters" of the earth - - were lured into the abyss and turned into the vampires' playthings. The numbers of humanity were slowling depleting, and the death of loved ones became as sure as day and night. Luckily, the government had an emergency plan. They were to unleash the Oculi Uniti, superhumans that they had experimented on for a myriad of years. The OU would hopefully restore the balance that the world had lost, and would put an end to the reign of neverending dusk. And so, the Oculi fought and fought and the vampires were slowly being defeated. Humanity thought their world was saved, but the quickly bounced back and struck humanity even harder. Vremia, an elite group of vampires stronger than the force of nature, then slayed most of the Oculi Uniti without breaking a sweat. Humanity then decided to give up and let the vampires continue controlling the world that was once theirs, but not without another fight. The surviving members of the Oculi and a few hand-picked teenagers were experimented on by the Church and were turned into artificial super-vampires called Croix. But some Oculi members were against this and ran away from the experimentation facility half-turned. The lines of good and evil were once so clear, but now, they were just a thousand shades of gray. And the dove's columbine feathers were tainted red. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - x. So, basically, this role-play is about the struggle of humanity to bring back the balance and destroy the damned. It's just your typical vampire RP with human experimentation and lack of good and evil. A penny for your thoughts, please? |
