This has been on my mind for a while now but is there anyone interested in playing in a 40k RP?

The next question I have is, would everyone prefer a system wide battle type deal with multifaction waring and diplomacy with a possible hidden threat working against all of the factions
(like Warhammer 40'000: A darkness unleashed)?
Or would it be prefered a small cohesive group working together (Like a group of Inquisition Acolytes) to defeat some unestimatable threat?

If there is interest either way, I would like some help comming up with the story or plot line for the thread seeing as my knowledge is limited to Tau and a small growing field of Imperium.

I'm a gigantic WH40K nerd so i think it's be great to start one off. (It'd probably do better than mine did.) and either option would work. If you need any help with it like you said just ask me.

I don't have all that much knowledge of warhammer 40k but what I do know is cool. so yeah I think this would be a good idea. I want a bulk.

I don't know anything about soul drinkers but any way...

Next question so I can start sowing something together, what race would you be playing for the war thread?

I'd be happy to give it a shot, although my knowledge extends to Dawn of War and and a few articles in white dwarf. Army based would suit me, wouldn't mind giving the Imperial Guard a go... me likes cannon fodder races.

Hmm... Well the only possible answer to that is the fact that I like all the Imperial races and the Tau. And maybe the Orks, but in hindsight i'll probably end up as an Astartes or a Guardsman.

Ok I've got an idea just working on the system the war will be taking place in.


correct me if I'm wrong on this:
Forgotten Wolf: Tau
Conndude: Space Marines or Imperial Guard
Gat: Imperial Guard
ChaosMarine: Chaos Space Marines

Study up everyone, make sure what you know the equipment your going to be using and that it actually exists in the 40k universe. Also know your ships because this isn't just going to be ground battles; try searching for information on the Battlefleet Gothic game for ship information.
If anyoe has useful links that others can use please put them up. I don't have any links considering I've got my information for the moment in paper and people I know.
