What's more, it's inevitable, one-liners are going to happen on an RP like this.
AND because you were all complaining, adding extra powers is only allowed if it takes a really, really long time!

Ok, I'll start then.....

Lucidia Leacock smiled. It was her first day at her new teaching job--an academy for young people, with powers like her own. She wondered idly whether the school had any 'problem' students. She hoped not.
The minutes ticked by. Any second now and the bell would ring, and a horde of fresh new faces, ready to be inspired, she hoped, would come rushing through those doors....she loved to teach. It was no surprise, considering her 'talent' would be an asset to any teacher.

The school itself was hardly different from any othe boarding-school. It had hallways and corridors with shiney floors, dorms, cliques, and a stern head-teacher. Something about the whole school-atmosphere appealed to Lucidia like no other place she had been. Perhaps it was because in the lunch break she could listen to all the thoughts and gossip of the students-one of her favourite pastimes, weirdly.
The bell rang. Lucidia sat up straight in excited anticipation.

Luke walked out of the class, he was one of the first one's out, like always, he noticed a girl in the hallway and walked up to her. "Hey, are you new here? I haven't seen you here before..."

Grace jumped out of her car after a rather tearful goodbye to her parents. She wouldnt see them again until Christmas so she made sure she said a proper goodbye. She had three bulging suitcases and was struggling to haul them up the steps to the main door. She truned around to wave goodbye and saw her mum crying and waving frantically before her father pulled out of the parking space. "Here I go" she sighed and pulled open the front door.

"Hi, Im Grace Murphy, Im new here could you tell me what dorm Im staying in?!" she said to the receptionist behind the counter. "Of course dear...your on floor 2, room 26" she said, flashing her a beaming smile and handed her the key.

Grace made it too my room and decided to take a look around her new school and 'home'

Valentina was taken by surprise when a boy of about her age spoke to her.
"Yes, I'm new, I just got here about half an hour ago.", she replied, smiling. She was thankful she had met someone and didn't have to wander around the school on her own, no doubt getting lost.
"My names Valentina.", she added quickly, realising she hadn't introduced herself.

Lucidia waited, and gave in to her temptations. She slumped against the desk and used the first student she could find, hoping no-one would come in.
A boy--not her personal preferance, admittedly--they never had anything ineresting going on.
"...I'm new, I just got here about half an hour ago." a pretty blonde girl smiled at Lucidia's temporary host. "My name's Valentina." What a pretty name, she thought. Crap--he's bound to have heard that... she pulled out of the trance before she could do any more damage...

Celine had just gotten settled in. She went to her next class and the door was closed. She knocked on the door and peeked her head through. There was a teacer at the desk, she was so young that Celine would have never thought she was one except that she was sitting at her desk. "Hi" she smiled at her, opening the door wider and stepped in. "I'm Celine. I'm new here."

Lucidia's head jerked up. Crap.
"Hi--I'm Miss Leacock--you can call me Lucidia, though", she said, standing and extending her hand to shake.
"It's nice to meet you. If you were wondering why I was asleep..." she trailed off, hoping Celina wasn't.

"Nope" she said trying to hide her smile. Celine already knew, she had read her mind. "I think I have a class here now" she said examining the room for other students

Alex waked into the class a little late and as he walked said "I know, I am late, please don't lecture me about."he said a little cheerfily.HE notcied the new student and said "Hello."
