Krissy rubbed her eyes and smiled looking over at Cairi and Derrick. She thought they were cute together. She looked away at the door that led to the rest of the fort. She sighed quietly to herself. How long are we going to last in here, I wonder. She also thought about how long she would survive herself, or if any of them would.

"Aww. What if I get hungry?" He heard some commotion outside and a loud zapp. "Hey, wait..." The gate flew open and zombies poured in, albeit slowly. "We should get out of here. Now." He had no idea what was going on outside, but he knew that it wasn't good. "C'mon!"

Cairi sat up frightened. "Whats wrong?" She heard yelling and gunfire and covered her ears. "Not now!" She sprung out of the bed and ran to grab her .45 remembering it was out of ammo. "I can't even shoot the damn things without bullets!" She started to hyperventilate but took a few deep breaths, calming herself down...

Krissy stood up and chucked Cairi the last of her spare ammo. She loaded her handgun and pulled the hunting rifle over her shoulder. She was frightened but tried not to show it for Cairi's sake. "Load up Cairi, I heard you practicing, just remember to aim for the head okay?" She nodded and smiled. "Alright Derrick. What now?"

Derrick loaded his guns up and pulled on most of his gear. "Now, we leave." He nodded towards a back exit. "Hey wait. We forgot Net, eh?" He walked out the front door and yelled "Feuer Frei!" Suddenly the entire fortress was awake and shooting, half dressed troops unloading on the zombies. He ran over to the barracks and untied Net, then ran back to the girls. "Ok, now we leave." He kicked the back exit down, showing a dark damp tunnel. He flicked a switch and it lit up, revealing tree roots among other things.

She took a minute to load her weapon and followed Derrick. "In there?" She gasped looking into the dark damp tunnel. "I think I'd rather go outside with them."

Krissy rolled her eyes. God damn tunnels. She looked at Cairi, "Go in behind beind Derrick okay? It'll be fine! Just think how better off you'll be once we're through it." She looked behind herself and shut the door to the shithole house, making a probably useless barricade of chairs. Just to give them a little more time to get into the tunnel. She then took of her wooden bead necklace and shoved it in her pocket, zipping up the pocket afterwards. Its safer there.
