Yasuo laughed at Cairi's words. 'Who would've known that I'm sick?!' his voice rose and rose with his laughter. 'Why can't you shoot me? Do you love?' Yasuo laughed at his own joke. 'Do it.' he whispered. 'C'mon it's easy. Just squeeze that trigger.' Yasuo looked at Cairi one more time and then ran over to a corner. He curled up in and looked around.

Net walked in front of Casey and said "Don't insult him, that will just make it worse. Don't listen to him, he's just trying to get himself killed. Let me handle this." He walked over to Yasuo and said "If you live, you just might save us all. That is the worth of your life."

As I looked through the mirror, I saw not of me, but of what I had become - a shell of my former self, tainted by the hand of evil. It was then that I had decided; I had to fight this... thing, inside of me.

The blanket of darkness had touched me - caressed my innocent cheek. The warmth it offered felt gentle, kind.
I plunged into the darkness, wanting only the love it offered. I wanted to be loved; for someone to think I was important. This was what I had dreamed so long for.

Yasuo looked up at Net. Tears were running down his face. 'Wha...What's wrong with...me?' He looked around the room, and buried his head into his knees. 'I can't do this Net...I can't...'

"I'll never love you Yasuo," Cairi shook her head. "Because I love him." She nodded her head towards Derrick. "Because he protected me when I needed him, and he didn't run away!" She turned around and sat back next to Derrick, with her rifle on her lap pointed at Yasuo and a spare hand on the necklace...

Net turned around and said "Shut up, Cairi! For once you need to stop saying what is on your mind! Think about Yasuo for a second, think about what he's going through. Do you have any idea how it feels to have the person you love say something like that?!" He calmed down a bit and knelt down in front of Yasuo and stared him straight in the eyes, saying "Yes, you can. I know how this feels, to have a broken heart. It's happened to me before. It's hard, I know. Very, very hard. But you just can't give up. You can't give in to your heart's desire of suicide. This is one of the moments you use your brain instead of your heart. Trust me, this will turn around. Just believe you can do it, and you will be able to do it. Don't give up."

'I don't care if she loves me or not. I just can't live like this. I'm losing my mind.' Yasuo's tears came quicker. He looked down at his feet. 'This just isn't the way I should live.'

"You think anyone pictured living like this before the outbreak?" Cairi said seriously. "No Yasuo, nobody did...but we have to live...or we've lost..." She felt like with these people around her, at least she wasn't alone and she had a reason to live.

He looked at Cairi and wiped his face. 'Just leave me alone. You have done nothing to help me. You're the reason I'm losing my mind. I don't care what anyone pictured. I'm not anyone, so it doesn't fucking matter. Why can't you understand?'

"You're the reason your losing your mind!" Cairi screamed. "I did absolutely nothing to you! You did that to yourself!" She couldn't take it anymore, she ran out of the building in tears.
