Merit stood sitting on the front steps of the school. She was waiting for it to open. It was quite early so it hadn't yet. She rested her head in her hands and closed her eyes. She was still quite tired.

Amelia woke up in a bedroom that was hidden behind the headmasters office. She yawned and scratched the back of her head. She went to the bathroom and splashed water on her face to completely wake herself. When she looked up, her reflection didn't show in the mirror above the sink. "What a pain" She muttered. She looked around and found a brush and started to comb the rats out of her long black hair. Since she didn't have any reflection what-so-ever, she had to rely on her sence of touch to tell weather or not her hair was okay. SHe put on her dark makup around her eyes, also using touch to tell where to put it, and went back to her room and laid on her bed until it was time to really get ready.

Blake sighed as he walked towards the school he had gotten up early and couldn't get back to sleep so he had decided to head towards the school. He while lost in thought nearly did not notice the girl sitting on the steps as he got there. He blined staring for a second noticing her "wow I didn't know anyone else would be around this early."

"Wow I didn't know anyone else would be around this early." Was what awoke Merit from her cat nap. She opened her eyes and looked up sleepily. She just shrugged at what he said. "I guess i'm just an early riser." She said to him. She the yawned, revealing her sharp canines. She stood up and looked at him oddly. 'A dragon?' She thought to herself, noticing his appearance.

Amelia got up and looked out her window. She saw two other students at the steps to the school. She yawned again. She turned around to find the headmaster so she could tell him to open the doors so that they wouldn't have to wait outside. She looked at her bed, then at the door. Eh, They can wait. she thought. She plopped hard onto her bed. She closed her eyes and tried to get back to sleep. She awoke to the taste of blood filling her mouth "SH*T" She screamed loudly "I BIT MY TOUNGE!"

Net fluttered his eyes open to see the ceiling of the nurse's office. He sat up from the sick-bed and yawned loudly, stretching his arms. He looked at the time 'Damn' he thought 'Barely enough time for breakfast.' He walked over to the counter and grabbed one of the pop-tarts piled on there. This often was his breakfast. He walked outside and heard a girl scream from the headmaster's office. He ran over there, finished with his pop-tart. He slammed the door open and yelled "Is everything ok?!" Only to realize there was no one in there but himself.

As I looked through the mirror, I saw not of me, but of what I had become - a shell of my former self, tainted by the hand of evil. It was then that I had decided; I had to fight this... thing, inside of me. The blanket of darkness had touched me - caressed my innocent cheek. The warmth it offered felt gentle, kind. I plunged into the darkness, wanting only the love it offered. I wanted to be loved; for someone to think I was important. This was what I had dreamed so long for.

"hmm something wrong?" Blake asked noticing her odd look. He looked at her for a second as he let his wings stretch outside of his shirt. "Man these things really get stiff" he said stretching his wings widely and yawning.

Merit still stared at him oddly. Then she smirked at him. "Its nothin'. Just that i've never seen or even met a dragon before. Its quite odd seeing one standing right infront of myself now." But she the sniffed the air. 'Blood?' She thought to herself, smelling it. It wasn't your everyday blood. No. It was vampire blood. Merit's smirk dissapeared and she scowled. She disliked vampires.

"Yeah so says everyone else I know I'm kinda rare I guess" he said shrugging. "I really can't say I've met a werewolf before" He said noticing the smell of blood himself as well "Hmm seems like someone's bleeding."
