Chris nodded even though she didn't look at him 'wow looks like I startled her I'll need to be more careful' he thought as he went over to get the table cloth, cups, and punch bowl. 'ok so I'll just have to make sure I don't trip...' he thought carrying them over to the table. 'Wonder what I should do now?' he thought sitting down and looking around the gym 'It looks pretty good and it seems that most of the work was done by that girl, maybe I should thank her for her hard work?'

Ryuu blushed slightly at the fact of getting asked for help. 'This isn't so bad. I can't make a complete fool of myself here' he walked over to her rather slowly. She asked which one he would rather do and he froze. 'See? You're already making a fool of yourself. You can't even tie a balloon let alone curl a streamer. You're useless.' he just hung his head low and slowly shook it from side to side.

As I looked through the mirror, I saw not of me, but of what I had become - a shell of my former self, tainted by the hand of evil. It was then that I had decided; I had to fight this... thing, inside of me.

The blanket of darkness had touched me - caressed my innocent cheek. The warmth it offered felt gentle, kind.
I plunged into the darkness, wanting only the love it offered. I wanted to be loved; for someone to think I was important. This was what I had dreamed so long for.

Sebastian yawned, he lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, imagining a world where he was able to be some form of knight saving damsels in distress, it amused him to think like that, perhaps if it were true he would be able to admit to Kris how much he liked her, maybe, were that reality, she would fall into his arms and tell him that she liked him just as much, "All these dreams and I still can't tell her, shows how much of a bloody coward I am when it comes to that sort of thing," he sighed to himself, perhaps in the real world males weren't supposed to have feelings, perhaps they were supposed to be something like zombies in movies, without minds, not even feeling pain, Sebastian rolled his eyes as he thought that, "Yeah, next I'll be telling myself that the moon is made of cheese and biscuits," he laughed at himself, rolling onto his side, his alarm clock was broken, it just continued to flash "23:57," one day he'd have to fix it.

He didn't hurry as he lifted his watch to check the time, he had plenty of time left until the prom, he'd decided to go the moment he had heard Kris was going, his midnight blue shirt along with his blood red pants lay prepared at the foot of the bed, he wore a black hoodie and simple blue jeans, suddenly, a knock on his door roused him from deep within his imagination, "Bastian, hun, didn't you say you were going to help Krissie with the decorations for the prom?"

Sebastian's jaw dropped, yes, he recalled that now, he'd promised to help, "Crap! Thanks mum, I'm off!" he yelled through the door to his mother, no, foster mother, his real mum was gone forever, well, it was her loss, he'd barely known either of his old parents. He rushed to the door - he'd come back later and get dressed properly then, it would all turn out fine if he hurried - he bolted down the stairs and out the front door, down the pavement and over the picket fence, then began the ten minute run to the school, determined to get there on time.

She makes sure the length is long enough before tying the balloon to the table closest to her. She continues doing this a few times before glancing around. 'Everyone seems to need direction...and I'm not one to do it.' she thought before licking her lips. "Just..grab stuff and start making sure it goes somewhere. Ooh!!!! Except for the gardeny looking stuff. Amy and I will take care of that. It's for where the pictures will be taken. Umm...other than that slap things on walls, set up some chairs...whatever you see needs doing?" 'Why do I feel like my mother...' she shakes her head as she realizes she already finished putting balloons on that table.

Amy laughed,"Not really." She laughed a bit more before taking the cloth and putting it over the table. "So you want me put streamers all over the place?"she asked making sure she heard right.

Ryuu slowly walked off. He lifted his head and looked around. He couldn't see a single thing he knew how to set up. 'See? You really are useless...' he hung his head low again and sat back down against the wall.

After a moment she shook her head. She'd have to go change soon and that..she dreaded. "Amy, come help me set this up so I can..get ready?" She licked her lips as they suddenly became dry. She walked over to where the door usually connected to the cafeteria and began setting up where the pictures would be taken. 'Should have known better than for him to show up.' She thought. She'd done all she could to keep her mind off of it but now it didn't seem to help. "Just should have known better that's all."

Chris blinked as he saw a few things that needed to be done 'ok i'll thank her later first time to be useful!' he thout getting up and running over to diffrent things that were just stting around and started to put them where it looked like they went. 'hey this isn't so hard..' he thought picking up pace yet remaining agile.

She stopped where Ryuu was and smiled. Reaching out she took a roll of streamers and handed it to Ryuu. "C'mon. It's simple! Just take some tape. Tape it to the wall, throw it across the room, then tape it where it lands." She laughs a bit, "Just make sure it's on the closest wall and not low enough to get anyone at the throat." She cups her hands to her throat like she's being strangled before laughing and moving off, hoping the guy didn't think she was too weird.

"Sure thing."she said and went over to help Kristila."So what did you bring?Also if you want I could help you change or whatever."Amy said with a small smile as she finished helping Kristila set it up.
