Taylor checked his Longshot sniper rifle before getting up, after making sure everything was in working order he rose up and walked to Mess to grab some food before they were off.

Wilson cursed to himself as he entered the empty yard. He knew he was late,the briefing was over and the solders were eating at the Mess before the mission. He quickened his pace to a slow run to Jacks quarters.
He was to replace James Dean under orders for his services from control. He knocked on the door to show his presence and let himself in, He saluted to the Sargent saying.

"Recruit Wilson Johnsen! Here to replace James Dean from duty Sir!"

Jack was sitting by his desk with various maps of the city with a new face come in "You are late!" Jack with a vishious voice he stood up from his seat.

"You have missed your briefing from me, from control about the mission now you tell me you are filling in for a recruit well i tell you son you aren't setting the example to me" Jack walked up to the new recruit straight in his face and told him.

"Now get out of my site tell the recruit and gather the equipment from the armorary its down the hall on the right" Jack walked back to his seat circling areas that were important.

Wilson replied, "Sir yes sir!" He knew if He tried to make and excuse, Jack would become even more furious,'This will be a long mission' he thought as He rushed out of the room to the armory.

Taylor ate his "food" in the not so great Mess room, time for those Locust to pay for that "Incident" he thought. As Taylor finished his food he decided now was a good time to introduce himself to the rest of the squad. Taylor headed out the Mess toward the armory to see if anyone from his new squad was still there, as he turned into the armory he noticed someone else grabbing weapons and ammo, "Hey what are you doing?" Taylor asked with a frown "only Alpha squad is using the armory today."

Wilson was loading a lancer until a soldier asked a question behind him. He turn replying to the man,
" I'm Here to take James place in this mission." He continued. "My name is Wilson, trained in demolitions and heavy weapons."
He then turned and took a shotgun from it's place with ammo for three extra reloads. "Who are you?" He asked.

Jack had revised his ideas of how to take this port designated buildings, however he knew the locust would muck up that plan.

Jack had been radioed by control "This is control Alpha squad raverns will be inbound in 6 minutes a new recruit is already aboard he is your last squad member over and out" another new face to his sqaud hopefully he was a good one.

Jack decided to pack everything up checked his weapons and left his quaters for the yard, walking by he saw the late recruit booting himself his equipment next to ken he took no notice of them as he walked out into the boiling hot yard it was about noon now jack sat down and layed against the building waiting for the sound of the raverns.

Taylor nodded to show he understood and replied "Taylor, Sniper." Taylor walked over to him and held out his hand to shake, "Welcome to Alpha Squad" Taylor said.

Wilson took Taylors hand and gave it a shake, He replied."Thanks, Its always good to have a sniper in the squad." He then turned back to the armory shelves and took two grenades.After checking his weapons one last time. He turned to Taylor,"Well I'm ready I'm gonna wait in yard for the Ravens. See ya there." He passed by the sniper and headed to the yard.
He sat next to another soldier and set his lancer against the wall he was setting his back on and waited for the Ravens.

Taylor listened as Wilson took him he was going to head out to the yard and wait for the Ravens, and then watched and he walked down the hall and out into the yard.

"Always good to have a demolitions expert now I just hope we have an engineer somewhere in this squad" he thought as he walked out the armory. Taylor played with his beret a minute before heading out to the yard, as the walked out into the yard he covered his eyes from the glow of the sun.

Taylor laid down by Wilson and said "Wake me when it's time to go" and with that he rested and hands on his chest and fell into a light sleep.
