| Victoria watched as the night fell, peering down her long driveway, which extended a mile down the hill she lived on, she saw people's cars begining to drive up. "Soon....blood shall spill" the words were whispered as the vampire she had bedded that previous night came up behind her his tight chest pressing against her back. Brushing her long hair aside, he gently kissed her neck a shiver being sent down her spine. "operor non fatigo illic ero a vir vobis ut materia. vel is ero mihi ut mos cubile vos pro infinitio." (translation: do not worry there will be a man for you to mate . or it will be me that will bed you for eternity.) She smiled as he whispered the sentence in her ear. His name was Jace. She turned and smiled. He wore a suit, black in color a white button up shirt underneath. A black jacket was over it with a bright red rose she picked from her garden personaly was tucked into his pocket pinned carefully. She looked down at her dress. White in color with red splashed on the bust and train. Silver sparkles floated in the fabric sparkling when she walked in the light. Her thigh length hair was done in beautiful flawless ringletts a few strands pulled back and clipped back with 2 red roses pinned in her hair. Slipping on elbow length red gloves she placed her diamond tiara on her head and checked herself. Tonight was going to be fun, there was going to be plenty of humans. Smiling as Jace finished dressing, she took his hand and walked out the door. People were already downstairs awaiting her to announce the start of the ball. She stayed in the shadows and looked at Jace. They had a love noone would ever understand and she looked up at him her ice blue eyes peering into his light green ones. "Jace no matter what happens tonight I will always love you." with her words she leaned up and sealed it with a passionate kiss, her arms wrapping around his neck, his arms around her small waist pulling her in deeper. 'I love you too." Last edited by makingyourpulserace; 01-26-2010 at 11:38 AM. |

"Castle Lamia, please," Vanilla told to a taxi driver, closing the door behind herself. She smoothed her long light dress back, careful not to dirty the silky material. The driver gave her a strange glance through the rear vision mirror and nodded firmly. As the taxi started to move, Van took her cell phone out of her purse and checked the messages. There were two confirmations saying that Mrs Maev's flight ticket was paid and the plane took off two hours ago. Fine, she thought, relieved. Her mistress has changed her plans in the last minute but Van managed to book a flight. She put the phone back, satisfied about this particular problem. The only unanswered question was; why am I headed to a ball? She actually had no clue why Maev insisted on that point. The old lady was a kind person, always helpful for those who needed her, but she enjoyed being mysterious and surprising. One of her magical talents was how wise she could be. She was often messing with relationships, more a matchmaker than a classical witch. Maev also liked to give Vanilla so-called 'life lectures'. Van was almost certain that the ball lied within that category of experiences. Could it be that the lady wants her to behave more... presentable? Or to meet some other witches and creatures... Vanilla looked out of the window. The car turned right, went through the gate and it was driving up the hill at the moment. She had a lot of time to view the castle. Victoria DeAnamarco was particular about making the event a big show, that's for sure. There very many limousines waiting to drop the guests and all those people were wearing magnific dresses. That's the reason she made me to put on this robe, she realized, pleased to wear the Jimmy Choo sandals with stiletto heels. She checked her gun once more so the driver couldn't see it to make sure she had enough ammo. Van was taking the gun anywhere she went, especially when there were going to be many strangers. The kife holster was barely noticeable as she moved and the gun in her purse was also ok. "Here you go, young lady," the driver sang out. "Thank you," she handed him money, leaving a tip. "Are you gonna need a pick up later?" the taxi driver asked, his smiled wide while taking the money. "No," Van said, "goodbye." A doorman came to help her to get out of the car. "Have fun!" the driver said, before the door slammed. Vanilla didn't hear him; she was already walking up the stairs into the Castle Lamia...

Bri read her invitation to the ball again, to make sure she had the right address. "A ball, how lovely", she smiled to herself and thought of all the different creatures and such attending it. She walked past a window and saw her reflection. She quickly fixed her hair. She breathed on the window, so it would fog up. Bri drew a smiley face and skipped to the ball. She was wearing THIS.Brianna skipped up the stairs of the castle. She slowly opened the door and peeked inside. No one was there. "Hm? I must be early." She mumbled and walked in. She walked over to the buffet and grabbed some red wine ... well, what she thought was red wine. "Blood?", she spat it back in the cup and wiped her mouth. "Ew"

OOC: @Berzie. You didnt follow the flow of things. You are supposed to wear a gown, not a summer dress, you arrive in car, and there wouldnt be blood where theres humans. if your confused about the details then ask, also the ball hasnt even started yet. Also please try to post more then like 5 sentenses that are so rushed together. its distracting and hard to read.

Clare sat in the limousine, looking depressed out of the window. It had started raining again, and she was watching as the rain drops ran down the window. She was counting the seconds, guessing who would win the race, watching as they went away again. Just like real life, only sped up. Clare sighed heavily, and the driver turned to look at her. She hadn't noticed before now that the car had had stopped, beside countless car, taxis and limousines. They were standing in front of a great castle, towering over the hill it was built on. Clare could see that the almost all the guest were both beautiful and rich, dressed in designer clothes and glorified with the prettiest jewelleries money could by. She glanced quickly over at the driver, intending to pay. "How much is it?" His mouth dropped down when she talked, and shock was written all over his face. Clare hadn't said anything when she got in the car, just handed him the note on which the address of the castle were written. "Nothing, nothing." The driver were blushing deeply, and even though she could see he was trying to keep it professional, she had also noticed that he had stared at her in the mirror the whole time. "I insist,"Clare said simply, and the driver nodded nervous in approval, wishing to please her. She gave him much more money than needed, opened the door and stepped out. What am I going to do with it anyway? Clare had received the invitation a month ago, in a ruby red convolute, clearly showing that this was no ordinary ball. And if it is not ordinary, what is it then? It was mainly the curiosity that had convinced her to come, and the boredom she felt by doing nothing. She was dressed in a simple white silk dress, and around her neck was an amulet. The other women would find her poor and unlady like, but she preferred it this way. She had changed to her human form before she stepped into the limousine, and she felt uncomfortable. This body was so limited. The driver had runned over to her with an umbrella, and was holding it over her when the rain suddenly stopped. "I don't think I require your services any more, thank you." Clare tried to smile a natural smile, but it was a sad performance, and the sadness showed clearly in her eyes.

Erich leaned on the side of the car, looking at the distinct architecture of the manor-castle. Ofcourse erich new that this wasn't a genuine medieval castle, but much of the gothic look to it that only a true Bavarian castle could have portrayed. " That ofcourse was back when we were still in colombia" said Elmsley, a rather old man in his late 40s, who was also Erich's driver/butler. Before Erich met Elmsley, he was a drugs smuggler during the 60s, and was a man who ha lived a very full life before a quiet life called for him to get a more 'relaxed' job. "Right Staffen I'll be here in the car somewhere in the vicinity, so be careful and if you can't be careful, don't get caught" Elmsley said, a chuckle shortly followed. Erich grinned back, hopefully those words of wisdom bestowed by a Manchester born drug smuggler should count for something. "well hopefully there shouldn't be many problems, after all, I was invited" Erich said, pulling a red velvet invitation from his tuxedo's inside pocket. Erich turned away from Elmsley and the car, before walking up the stone steps towards the castle's large doors. Some other people had turned up already, while others were still arriving. Erich let himself into the vast lobby, where several people stood, chatting and conversing with one another. Erich noticed above the grand staircase, that a rather young couple stood, looking down at the guests at the bottom. It was after a few seconds that Erich realised this couple were proberbly the host and hostess of the ball, a ball that he had been curiously invited to. Erich moved to the side, mixing into the small gathering to see no doubt what this couple had to say from a better vantage point within the crowd. |

Vanilla walked up the stairs and showed her invitation card to a doorman. He glanced at the card. "Welcome to the Lamia Castle. Please, go ahead and have a nice evening," he said, opening the door for her. Vanilla gave him a small thank-you kind of a smile and entered the castle. The foyer was already full of people. They were chatting or admiring the interior, some of them just waiting for the hosts to show up. Van went to the high window and stood near it, enjoying the view, and waiting, too.

The rented limousine drove out of the gates, and disappeared among all the other lights from the city. It was getting darker now, which suited Clare just fine. It was easier hide in the shadows, and to blend with the people. And there was enough people here. Ladies and Gentlemen’s were running around outside the large castle, trying to get in without an envelope. She stepped up to the large doors, and one of the men that looked like guards held his hand out, obliviously expecting something. She handed him the red envelope, and he grabbed it gently, like he was holding a great treasure. He seemed to find nothing wrong, and she put it back in her purse. "Welcome, have a nice evening," and the door was opened. She nodded to the doorman, and stepped into the hall. The room was filled with people who were lucky enough, or important enough to have received an invitation. I am neither, so why am I here? The room was well lighted up, so it was easier to see all the expensive and beautiful arts hanging on the walls. A servant dressed in a black tuxedo came over to her, holding a plate with several types of drinks. "What would the madam prefer?" Clare took a glass of red wine, smiling pleasantly. Time to act human.

Running through the forrest in his werewolf form, Alexander moved towards Castle Lamia. He cursed himself for not taking his car, but he thought some fresh air would do him good. As he reached the gate of the castle, he morphed back into his human form, and pulled out his invitation. He walked over to the guard and showed him his Invitation. "I see... Welcome to Castle Lamia, Mister Lycanthropy. Enjoy your stay." The guard said, handing back the invitation. "Thank you... i will." Alexander said, handing the man 50 bucks.
