Lucy smiled at the guy who had introduced himself as Kevyn. Her emile tehn disappeared when Kevyn mentioned about the Sycorax. ''I thought they were destroyed years ago'' she said and then paused. ''They were, their ship was destroyed by Torchwood, I was there, well sort of'' she then went onto say.

The Doctor smiled at Lucy, she had seen every one of his adventures, and he hadn't even realised she was there for most of it.

"Well I don't know about that, but they said they were the Sycorax." said Kevyn shrugging. "That was about a month ago, they said they'd come to take control of the planet. Never got through our defenses though."
He gestured towards the heavens "There's a network of satelites that run our matter transfer system. We just focused them on the ship and teleported it halfway across the galaxy." |

The Doctor looked impressed, but came back with, "Ships move you know, halfway across the galaxy is nothing to a big warship, you'll want to watch out,"
In all honesty he liked their method, nobody got hurt. Except the pride of the Sycorax.

"Well, that's my little joke on the Sycorax." said Kevyn, grinning "You see, the beauty of the Teraport is that it's self perpetuating. It uses a bit of the object's mass to fuel the teleport. Usually, it's just a few random atoms, but in this case I designated a very vital part of their engines. They won't be quick on their auxilieries."
"But enough about us. What brings you here? I designed that security grid myself, and you just walked right through it." Last edited by Guru Gloin : 07-05-2008 at 05:53 PM. |

"Passing through," The Doctor said with a nonchalent shrug, he turned to look behind him, "And yes," He said, "We're very good at just walzing through security, he returned to facing forwards, "But since we're here we were going to take a closer look at the city, weren't we Lucy?"

"Absolutely," He said, and struck off jauntily after her, hands in his pockets, as if Kevyn was no longer of any interest to him.
Until he turned back and pointed to the city behind him, "Kevyn," He called, "Are there many defences around the city?"
