The Doctor nodded and quickly hurried after her, "What a friendly chap," he said lightly, but with a look that implied otherwise, "He knows something," He added in an undertone to Lucy, "Well, no, I think he does, and I'm a shrewd guesser."

OoC: Yay!
BiC: The Doctor nodded, "People often will, don't trust each other as far as they can spit them," He sighed, "Engine room or cargo hold, your choice?"

The Doctor nodded slowly, and hurried down to the next flight of stairs, "This...might not be too easy on the legs," He said, "This is likely to be a lot of stairs,"

The Doctor didn't reply, his cream-coloured converse pounded against the stairs and the sound echoed confusingly around them.
Finally, the stairs leveled out and the shouts and clangs and just general noise and heat and confusion of the engine room fell upon the Doctor's ears. "This way," He said slowly, and darted swiftly down a left turning corridor.

Lucy got to the bottom of the last flight of stairs and could hearthe sounds of the engine room. It wasn;t too far off. She followed the docotor down a corridor that went off to the left, and they got nearer and nearer the engine room. The noise of the engine and also the temperature of the the surrounding increased as they neared it,

The Doctor found the door to the engine room, it was locked, and, even through the thick steel door the sound was almost deafening. After trying the handle, the Doctor whipped his Screwdriver out and, with a quick flash of blue light, the door swung open easily.
The room was full of burly, muscular men, all looking totally exhausted. This time, nobody challenged their entrance this time, they were barely noticed as the men worked to keep the engine fires burning. The first thing that hit the Doctor as he entered was the heat, it got him in the face so hard it felt like he'd been slapped, making his dark eyes sting, shaking his head to clear it he looked up, just as a figure on the other side pulled a hood over his head, and vanished behind heavy furnaces.
