Kray tightened the strap on the saddle than smiled slightly, grateful for not being discovered, or so he thought. A shout bounced at from behind him, he whirled round seeing the owner stood in the doorway,Kray swore loudly and jumped on the horse. He grabbed the reins and kicked the horse in its hinds, making it run forward. He put his hand on his sheath but there was no need as the owner had moved from the doorway as he galloped through. He kept himself low and slowed himself down a bit, he couldn't be to suspicious. The few minutes it took for him to reach the gate were the most tense of Kray's life, he could hear the beating of his heart in his eat. Every guard he was sure knew what he had just done but he just rode past without them even giving a glance. He pulled up his hood as he rode past the guards which lined the walls of the gate, the faint sound of the horses hooves hitting the cobble were like thunder in his ear, he couldn't look around as he knew his eyes would give him away. He made it through though. He looked like one of the crowd and as he exited the city he breathed a sigh of relief, he smiled and then fastened up again, wanting to get to Jerusalem quickly.

Ankoroth sighed. It was dawn outside. Today was his payment to the Knights Templar. He stood up and donned his dragon armor. He roused three others and saddled the horses. They ran out of the cave into the brisk morning. The sun was behind the clouds and there was fog along the hills. The four men reared their horses and made their way to the Templar stronghold. He hated this day, but he had to do it. He must make amends with his enemies.
