"Plasma, Raptor, Flutter, return!" called James as he returned all three of his Pokémon. The trio left the forest and headed for Pewter City. "I still have some training to do before I face Brock," said James.

"Yeah, and I want a Pikachu for when I take on Misty."

"CHu!"

"Aww, crap." Johnny fell to the floor when he was hit by a thundershock. He jumped up and ran after it. "See you in Pewter! Hydro Withdraw!" He ran off trying to catch the Pikachu.

"I dont" Kyutto said smugly " i caught a Budew, grass type, should take car of brock easily"

They arrived in Pewter. Kyutto could feel her heart beating nervously. This would be her first trainer battle and her first gym battle! "Oh god im nervous" she muttred. Kyutto went towards the pokemon Centre and handed over the pokeballs.

James trained Flutter and Raptor until they matched Plasma in level. By then, Flutter had evolved twice. First to a Silcoon and then to a Beautifly. Once he had finished, James met up with Johnny and Kyutto at the Pokémon Centre. He noticed a Jigglypuff walking around in the lobby.

"Ohh, hey guys. Guess what? I cought that damn Pikachu! And, Hydro evolved. I got a Wortortle. Oh, hey Jiggly. Remember me?"

"You know that Jigglypuff, Johnny?" asked James.

Kyutto got her pokemon back from Nurse Joy, thanked her. She then smiled at johnny and James. "im going to go challenge brock now, ill see you in a bit"
she could feel her heart beating as the Gym doors slid open. She walked in the doors and went up to Brock. The man stood up and looked doen on her. "Im guessing you want to challenge me?" he boomed. Kyutto gulped and nodded.

'Nah, ot really, he just put everyone to sleep the first time I got here. Let's go watch Kyutto's match."

James and Johnny had entered the gym and sat in the grandstand, cheering Kyutto on.

Kyutto stood at one end of the stadium, there were a handfull of people watching. "Go Geodude!!" said brock throwing a pokeball. "Go Kairi" yelled Kyutto, and the small budew apeared. ive got my trump card ill be alright Kyutto thought. "use Razor Leaf" She yelled and budew fired 5 leafs towards Geodude. "Geodude Use defence curl!!" the move hit geodude but didnt kill him.
