"Wow, thats a lot of info to take in" Kyutto grinned "Im kyutto and my vote says that id love you to come with us" she then looked up into her skull in a confused manner "did that come out right?? Anyway" she said looking back at Mimi "Im sure James and Johnny would love you to come with us too"

"Hear, hear," replied James, "I'm the only one here who hasn't beaten Surge yet and my Pokémon aren't the best lot to take on that gym leader."

"Why not? Train Bandit for a bit, I'll trade you Golbat fpr a bit and your set. Most of your team can be beaten by Elec-types right?"

"Half of them, yes," answered James, "I don't understand what you're offering."

"Theres Diglett cave, you could catch a diglett" She offererd (thats how i did it in my game.) "Anyway you beat me and i beat him, that means that youre better than him"

"Johnny, Golbat is weak against Electric-types. I'll have to catch me a ground Pokémon," replied James as he broke away from the group in order to train up his Pokémon.

Kutto chased after James "After that humiliation you gave me on the S.S Anne i need to train as well" she said to him.

James had welcomed his girlfriend's company as he trained his Pokémon in Diglett's Cave. Bandit needed training the most because it was newly hatched.

A Trapinch had appeared and James was quick to try and catch it. "Bandit, Force Palm!" The Riolu gave the wild Trapinch a powerful shove and it retaliated by using Bite. The Bite didn't do much damage. "Bandit, Quick Attack!" Bandit then charged at the Trapinch and tackled it. "Poké Ball, go!" The Trapinch was drawn into the ball and after three shakes and a click, the Trapinch was caught. "I'll call you Terrafly," said James as Bandit started glowing. The glow dimmed to reveal Bandit as a Lucario.

"Sweet, a trapinch and a lucari..." she was interupted by a diglett popping up under her feet and tripping her up. "Son of a..." she yelled

James caught Kyutto before she hit the floor. "Time to break in my newest acquisition. Terrafly, Bite that Diglett!" called James, releasing his Trapinch in the process. Terrafly then proceeded to bite the Diglett on the head. The Diglett retaliated with Scratch despite not having any visible limbs. "Faint Attack!" Terrafly then zipped behind the Diglett and tackled it, resulting in a KO. "Good work, Terrafly. Now, return!" praised James, returning his Trapinch afterwards.
