"Oh sh..." kutto said. Her Aunt and Uncle were walking towards her, luckily they hadnt noiced her yet. "Meet me at the top floor of the department store in 5 mins" she whispered to James. She then sprinted down an alley.

"Erika, I challenge you to a gym battle!" challenged James.
"You're on! I won't be holding back!" accepted Erika, "Go Weepinbell!" "I won't have it any other way! Kitsune, I choose you!" James released his newly acquired Vulpix into battle. "Kitsune, Flamethrower!" "Weepinbell, Sleep Powder!" Kitsune started exhaling searing flames from her mouth that scorched the Weepinbell to a one hit KO. "Weepinbell is unable to battle. The winner is Vulpix!" announced the referee. "Weepinbell, return! Go Tangela!" called Erika, "Sleep Powder!" "Kitsune, Flamethrower again!" The Vulpix snapped into action and let loose more flames that burned the mass of vines into another one hit KO. "Tangela is unable to battle. The winner is Vulpix!" announced the referee. By now, Erika was too pissed off to concentrate properly. "Go Vileplume! Use Giga Drain!" "Kitsune, Flamethrower one last time!" The Vulpix unleashed another fire breath and KO'd the Vileplume with a critical hit. "Vileplume is unable to battle. The winner of the gym battle is James of Saffron City!" announced the referee. "Here's your Rainbow Badge and the TM Giga Drain. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go heal my Pokémon," said Erika. "Thank you Erika," replied James as Erika left for the Pokémon Centre. James returned to the group.

Kyutto sat on top of the department store for about 2 minutes than took the elevator down and joined the group "Sorry about that" she said to them. she noticed James's Rainbow badge "WOW!! you beat her already??"

"She was a pushover who just couldn't take the heat," answered James as he gave Kyutto's cheek a peck.

"Use Fire or Flying Pokémon!" shouted James as he decided to go shopping at the Celadon Department Store. He replenished his supplies, picked up some Great Balls and bought a Fire Stone for Kitsune later on. After he left the store, he noticed a promotion at the Game Corner. It was a lottery draw where one turns a crank and a marble falls out. The prize for the gold marble was a Porygon, the silver marbles would win a TM of the entrant's choice and the bronze marbles had a prize of 5,000 coins. James decided to take a chance. "Three for the lottery please," ordered James.
"That'll be 3,000 Pokédollars," replied the clerk. James paid up and took his position at the crank. I hope I get the gold one, thought James as he gave the crank a turn. A white marble fell out. "Try again," said the operator as he replaced the marble. James gave the crank a second turn, producing the same result. When James turned the crank a third time, to everyone's shock including James' the coveted gold marble fell out. "WE HAVE A WINNER!!" shouted the operator. "Here's your prize. Take good care of it," said the promoter as he gave James a Great Ball containing the artificial Pokémon. "I'll name you Gigabyte," said James as the Porygon disappeared to the Pokémon Storage System. He went back to the gym to see how Kyutto was doing.
