I'm thinking about it.
Mimi laughed as she saw Johnny stick out his tongue at Kyutto. A group of people were gathering around them, watching the battle between James and Kyutto. Mimi started to get anxious. Although she was comfortable with her friends, Mimi's old shyness came back when she was with strangers. Plus, big crowds made her nervous. Gathering Blaze up in her arms, Mimi said, "I think I'm going to head to Viridian. Blaze and I could use some training along the way. I'll go slowly, so you can catch up to me later." With that, Mimi picked up Blaze and set off on Route 101. While walking along the grassy Route, Mimi decided to look for berries. She found several bushes and trees, so she spent a bit of time filling up her pack with berries. When her pack was full, she and Blaze ate a couple. This is nice, just walking with Blaze. It's fun traveling with friends, but it's also nice to have some quiet time, Mimi thought as they continued walking. The sun was out, and it spread warmth on the field that they were walking through. Mimi gave a sigh of pleasure. "What a nice day," she murmured to herself. Blaze, who was walking alongside of her, made a sound to show that he agreed. Mimi then saw a couple of Pokemon in the tall grass around them. "Blaze, do you want to battle?" Mimi asked. Blaze yipped. Mimi took that as a yes, and she walked into the tall grass. A Rattata jumped at her out of the grass. "Blaze, Quick Attack!" The Rattata dodged it and used Scratch. "Blaze, use Ember!" Blaze fired an Ember at the Rattata, and it was taken out. Mimi crouched next to the defeated Rattata and held out a berry. The Rattata took it and licked Mimi's hand. Mimi smiled as the Rattata sped off into the bushes, carrying its berry. "No hard feelings then, I guess," Mimi said to herself. Mimi and Blaze continued to walk to Viridian City, battling several Pokemon along the way.
