"Now we are going to have to leave here for just a minute" He says as he carts her to the pre-op room. "Paging nurse Kain, paging nurse Kain. Nurse Kain please report to pre-op. Don't worry everything is going to be fine. here take these for your nerves." He hands her some pain killers to numb her for the operation. "Just a warning, they may cause some mental insatiability.....then again it might help calm you down since your a special case."

Layla looked up at the bright lights of the operating room. She quickly swallowed the tablets. "You look cute when you work." She blurted out before putting her hand over her mouth.

Silvana had found what she was looking for and slid the jeweled broach into her pocket just as she got the page. "Thank you Mrs.-" She looked at the name on chart at the foot of the bed "Vertelli.... or how ever you say that." she muttered to the woman in her coma.
The matter at hand now was to get to pre-op which was an unexpected but not unwelcome surprise. Pre-op already? It's going to be a good week. A sly smile crossed her pale face. She swiftly left the room slipping out as quickly as she had come. Her red heels clicked and echoed down the hospital halls at a quick steady pace till she had reached the pre-op room. "Hello nurse Kaine" he begins to whispers so that only they can hear.
"keep this one alive, she is easy to manipulate and will be good for now life treating organs. We are just taking a kidney today, they are selling good overseas." He smiles down at the girl on the op table. "don't worry ms Kaine is going to take good care off you. She will do all the test to make sure your kidney is in good shape before we take it out. I will be getting the main op room ready for the surgery and she will bring you there once we are ready. Don't be scared nurse Kaine is a very....nice person and with you being so healthy i'm sure everything in good condition."

Nurse Kaine nodded at Layla smiling rather oddly. She turned her back to her looking over the test equipment stats. "I glanced over your record. Seems you've been here quite a while." The machine beeped a few times and whirred in it's processes. "I'm sure doctor Chang can heal you and before you know it you'll be with the rest of the world again." She made a few notes on a clipboard mumbling a few things as she did.
Looking back to Layla she grinned. "Everything seems fine to me." She wheeled her to surgery reassuring her all would go well. " Soon you won't feel anything and you'll be taken well taken care of." "Dr. Chang, everything's ready."

He puts her to sleep and the next thing she hears is his voice once more saying. "are you okay? your kidney is removed and little else. I left some pain pills in your room if you start to hurt. Other then that you are free to roam around any off the none restricted areas of the hospital. Although you are more then free to walk I have provided wheel chair also just in case you have a hard time moving. just let me know if you need anything at all." "nurse Kaine please take this cooler down to the boat. They will know what to do with it. feel proud that we all saved a child's life together." He walks off down into a room with a radio as he talks to the client about the shipment. "we have two hearts, a lung, and a very fresh kidney. Ill expect payment reshipping as per agreement." All else falls silent as the doctor gos about his business.

"I'm sure that the little gir-......" She paused a moment to remember what story they were going with, " I mean boy that receives this kidney will forever be grateful. You're very brave." Her tone trailed off as she took up the cooler.
"Consider it done, doctor." With no more concern or thought of anything but the cooler she hurridly left with it quickly out through the back doors and through the enclave leading to the dock. A medium sized boat waited there with rather suspicious characters as crew. In silence she handed it off and now returned to the halls of sacred heart.

"oh thank you doctor" the woman in the bed told him "oh no im not a doctor yet miss im just an intern" he replied to her,he then heard the tannoy. "oh i gotta go sorry miss"he was about to go when she responded to him again "dont worry your gonna make a great doctor" he turned round smiling "thank you" he then walked out he had just started at sacred heart a few weeks before,he walked out to the reception "erm....hi could you please tell me where erm....nurse Kaine is please"
