A Naruto Roleplay
Many years ago, quite a few individuals began to develop their intellectual, physical, and chakra-molding skills. They practiced with weapons, and even eventually managed to develop different supernatural techniques. [Such as Shodai Hokage (in the series) and his wood jutsu.] These individuals were the first of the Shinobi. They took many under their wing, and taught them their skills. Eventually, these teachers and students developed the different clans. Some were efficient in dog training, which later on became the major Inuzuka clan.. some of the more intellectual ones came on to be the shadow-manipulating Nara clan, et cetera. Some of these people split off from others, and developed their own unique teachniques, creating the simple, regular Shinobi. Some individuals formed groups of their own, moving to different parts of this great world. They formed a total of five countries. The Fire Country The Wind Country The Water Country The Lightning Country And, last but not least, The Earth Country Of course, with so many different countries and so many Shinobi in them, these countries eventually developed feuds with each other, and amongst themselves. Many individuals met together, and decided to hold the tournaments that would change that. The tournaments which would choose the most intellectual, and powerful individuals to lead these countries. They would be dubbed, the Kages. The Fire Country Hokage Candidates: The Wind Country Kazekage Candidates: Tyok Zuki, Suzume Kangen REGISTRATION FOR WIND COUNTRY: CLOSED The Water Country Mizukage Candidates: Shinji Maeda The Lightning Country Raikage Candidates: Kumori Kasai The Earth Country Tsuchikage Candidates: All of these candidates would battle for their spot. They would be deemed the most worthy of becoming: The First of the Greatest. [Alright. This tournament WILL be roleplayed out. Too make sure their are enough, I'm limiting it to two people per country, until all are filled to at least two. Then, you may join whichever country you wish.] [Character Creation Form will be in OOC Topic] [OOC TOPIC: The Forming Shinobi World OOC Last edited by Hiazi : 06-03-2008 at 07:32 PM. |

Clap! A small clap was heard in the gigantic mess of noise in confusion. A man with dark, spiky and black hair had just landed on the ground from an obvious jump in. A bunch of people stood gathered around five different instructors. All wore their forehead protectors in the same fashion, of course, tied around their forehead. Each instructor had a headband with a different color in the cloth, though, to symbolize their country. He looked from left to right. One wore a Red one. The man figured it must have been the one from the Fire Country. Moving his eyes one spot right, he saw one with a Silver cloth. He figured, it must hav been from the wind country. Unimportant. C'mon, Water.. He moved his eyes one spot to the right. AHA! The instructor he saw a smaller group of people gathered around, wore a headband with four swerving lines in it, and the cloth was sea-blue. The man realized immediately, the color of his own Water country forehead protector. He walked over, and saw that they were each taking a sheet of paper from a tablet on a table infront of the instructor. He took one himself, along with a pen from a cup next to the tablet. Sign-Up Sheet What is your name? - What is your Gender? - What is your Age? - What are your interests? - Please give a moderately detailed background of yourself. - What country do you live in? - Do you have any special skills we should look at? - Please give this sheet to your designated instructor. A mail carrier will inform you if you are decided eligible for the tournament. If eligible, your tournament host will give you further instructions upon what to do. He sighed. A sign-up sheet. What a pain in the ass.. it will be worth it, however, I'm sure. The man began to fill it out. Sign-Up Sheet What is your name? - Shinji Maeda What is your Gender? - Male What is your Age? - Twenty six What are your interests? - The man stopped there. "..Why are they asking me about my interests?" He looked up at the instructor, awaiting an answer. The instructor responded with a grunted, "Classified information." What are your interests? - I'm particularly interested in weaponry, and reading. I spend most of my time reading, or weapon training, trying to built intelligence and accuracy. Both have appeared to have helped lightly. Most of the other time, I'm a runner. I spend alot of my time running, building up actual physical strength. Please give a moderately detailed background of yourself. - I grew up under the wing of Setsumei Takahara, a good friend of my father's. He home-schooled me, and taught me the way of the Shinobi at an early age. At fourteen, he left this world, at the age of eighty-five. He was a good man, and I miss him. Once Setsumei died, a tutor came, that I never learned the name of. This man focused on intelligence more than physical strength. He had a peciluar ability to manipulate shadows. I learned it from him. He left ME, when I turned twenty, and I fended for my own since then, learning, and training, still to this day. What country do you live in? - The Water Country Do you have any special skills we should look at? - As mentioned earlier, the unnamed man taught me shadow manipulation skills. I am also deadly accurate with weaponry. I can do many manipulative techniques against water. (I learned these from Setsumei). Please give this sheet to your designated instructor. A mail carrier will inform you if you are decided eligible for the tournament. If eligible, your tournament host will give you further instructions upon what to do. Shinji handed the sheet of paper to the Water Country instructor. The instructor accepted the sheet, and put it into a bin to his right. "Please leave for home. If you have been accepted, you will be notified." With that, Shinji walked to the door. Outside, was an array of trees. He jumped to the branch of one, and then flew off swiftly, off to home. |

The Next Day Shinji put down his book. He pulled his chair backward, in the gigantic mess that he oh-so-lovingly, called his temporary home. He did this, because he heard someone lightly rap on the door. ..Could it have possibly have happened already? It had. When he opened the door, a man with a mail-bag wrapped over his left shoulder stared him straight in the eyes. He pulled an envelope out of that bag, with a golden emblem on it. He nodded to Shinji politely, and then walked off. Shinji opened the letter, and grinned at what it said. Congratulations Congratulations, sir Shinji Maeda. You have been the first out of a total of ten we have decided to let enter this tournament. Good luck, sir. The tournament will be held on June 5th, if we have enough participants by then. You will recieve another letter stating otherwise, if so. It will be held at the stadium near to the registration building you entered yesterday. Good luck, and god speed, sir. - Itsuki Koizumi, Water Country Tournament Host [I realize this is a TRIPLE post. Forgive me for that. I'm giving those who are interested in this, not only an example of how they should roleplay this out, but, what they should expect for the actual tournament. Yes, I've decided to limit it to JUST ten people. 2 from each country.] |

A silver coloured cloth with a sand embelem emebed in it walked towards the front of the line, grabbing a pen and a piece of paper with instructions on it. He scanned the page with his right eye, his left eye being bionic he could move it seperately. He stood up, his chair scraping across the floor, his heavy boots thumped across the floor as he walked up to the instuctor. Giving the sheet in, the instructor nodded at him and smiled "Get some rest, A mail carrier will inform you if you are eligible" Tyok turned around, dissapearing in a large pillar of sand. --------------------------------------------------------- The next day Tyok was reading a book about how to cook good food, he flicked the page, scanning the page "Hmmm, ramen.." he stood up walking into the kitchen, taking out various instruments and ingredients, including noodles. Stirring them in the pan there was a knock on the door, Tyok turned the heat down to low opening the door. It was the mail carrier. Handing Tyok a letter with a golden emblem on it her turned around and walked back into the ever continous sandstorm. Smiling Tyok read the letter: Congratulations Congratulations, sir Tyok Zuki. EDIT: [It appears you don't get it. You said you were taught by the great Kazekage Sabaku no Gaara.. um.. first off, no cannon characters will exist in this storyline. Second, this is a tournament for the FIRST of the kages.]

[[As I stated now, that isn't good enough. You need to change your background, as no Kages exist yet, and no cannon characters are in the storyline. Change it to something else, and you'll be accepted.]]
