this rp is about a war between creatures of the night. basicaly, werewolves and vampires. (you can be a different race..but i have to approve of it. it cant be too far away from the story line.) No demons or fallens in this one guys, sorry. you can be a hybrid, but there are advantages and disadvantages. for instance:

werewolf-human hybrid: cant control werewolf form.
not as fast
stronger while in werewolf form
more vunerable to damage

vampire-Human hybrid: They can't flit (run really fast, as if the world drifts by. but they get really exhausted.)
They can go out in sunlight and still use their abilities
Thirst for blood is somehow much greater. (feed every day, possibly 2 or 3 times a day)
ablities arent quite as powerful


Vampire-werewolf hybrid:
DISADVANTAGES;
more vunerable to damage
need to drink a lot of blood (more than vampire human hybrids. although drinking blood can be substituted by eating wolfbane. [dont ask]) they can't flit
even the slightest upset in their minds
can cause the transformation
cant go out in sunlight
ADVANTAGES;
has both vampire and werewolf abilities
it has bat wings, so it can fly
can take more damage
stronger in wolf form
can turn into werewolf form whenever it wants (maybe more than it wants)


here are the regular pure-breed races advantages and disadvantages


Werewolf:

DISADVANTAGES;
can only turn into wolf form during night.
arent as smart in wolf form
have a horrible allergy to silver.
ADVANTAGES;
strength, speed, smell, and hearing are enhanced even in human form
while in wolf form, they become significantly more powerful
faster in wolf form



vampire:
DISADVANTAGES;
can only come out in sunlight for about an hour before being killed. (although you will almost instantly start sun-burning)
cant use they're abilities in daylight.
have to drink blood atleast once every week (although it will leave you weak, you must drink 3 times a week to be at full power.)

ADVANTAGES;
stronger than humans
faster than humans
perfect balance
can suck a person dry (you can use blood sucking as a weapon too)
most can fly
dont get sick or age.
flitting (this is where you run extremley fast, exact speed is unspecified)
fingernails (extremley sharp and thick)

Age: pretty old, apears 19
Apearance:
Wolf release form:
Clothing: black cloak, and underneath he wears brown pants and a red shirt with shoulder pads. (while in his wolf form, he retains the underclothing)
Weapons: (the one thats close up)
Bio/Histoy: Xavier is a "abomination", well atleast thats what vampires and werewolves thought. he grew up alone, his parents were slaughtered slightly after his birth. his constant battles have made him a serious person, killing werewolves and vampires alike. He has come to hate them, the way they hate him
Special talent: his best talent is his speed. he is incredibly fast, even on hybrid terms.

and B: Is it okay if I use a race I created? they're called shadowlings, let me post up a description of their abilities...
Shadowlings:
advantages:
1.can control shadows
2.can melt into the shadows and instantly move with them
3.can solidify shadows into weapons
4.can pick locks extremely easily
5.can analyze fighting styles in combat
6.EXTREMELY fast
Disadvantages:
1.can't tolerate light as well
2.must have shadows available to use abilities other than 4, 5, and 6
3.not very strong, weaker than the average human
4.abilities become weaker when they're wet
5.need to eat extraordinary amounts of food

that's pretty much what they can do.)

Personality: Happy, but psychotic.
Appearance:
Human form: African American teen, about 5'8 in height, slender about 120 lb, with long/short straight hair that covers his eyes.
Werewolf form: When in wolf form his bodies mass increases dramatically, also he has an elastic cord tied around his neck with an extra pair of clothes for after the transformation.

Clothing: Unstrapped white straight jacket, with white pants
Weapons: no weapons accept natural ones.
Bio/History: Locked in an asylum since he killed his parents 7 years ago, he was recently bitten when he escaped and ran into the forest.
Special talent: (Has a glare that scares most humans and animals, also can escape rather easily from most situations

Advantages
1 Can turn into any humanoid shape that issn't huge, say around six and a half feet.
2 Is much much faster than a human and stronger
3 Can read people, genreal feeling emotions and can anticipate their actions
4 Can see things at fourty feet what the avrage human could see at twenty
Disadvantages
1 Heals cuts and other injurs slower than normal
2 is a sprinter, not a long distance runner.
3 If injured badly the doppelgangers form will waver and more than likely, lose it all together

Race: Shadowling

Bio/Histoy: Kagete was raised in a small hole in the wall village far out in the boondocks. His family did this because of their heritage as shadowlings. However, on his 17th birthday, a werewolf came and killed everyone, leaving Kagete to wander alone and angry until he came to a town where the smells of werewolves and a race unknown to him at the time mingled with the smell of blood. This is where he's been for the past two years, training, killing, and refining his talents.
Special talent: using the 'shadowjump' in combat to get behind the enemy.

Race: Vampire

Age: 217 (appears early 20's)

Apearance: Thin angular, nearly shoulder length brown hair that has an unwelcome tendency to curl at the bottom. Silver eyes after suffering from a disease he contracted before becoming a vampire.

Clothing: During 'business' hours he wears a typical suit, nothing spectacular but clearly expensive, normally with the collar turned up to hide the marks on his neck for when dealing with humans.

Weapons: Silver gloves, the thumbs have longer 'claws' attached to them

Bio/Histoy: When he was 22 he contracted a disease that swept through his entire village, his parents died within two weeks of catching the illness. beginning to suffer from delusions he ran from the village growing weaker with every day, he lasted just three days before he collapsed. He woke later cured, a vampire had tacken him for an easy snack, when he had tasted the sickness in his blood though he no longer desired his meal and instead turned him into a vampire. Now nearly 200 years later he has finnally fully embraced his gift becoming the go to guy in the supernatural and human underworld when certain distasteful problems need taking care of, or removing from the earthly plane.

Special talent: Zephron is a dirty fighter, while more than capable of holding his own in a drawn out fight he would prefer to sneak up behind and end it quickly with a quick slash to the throat. He also has a quick analytical mind meaning he can quickly survey his surroundings and use anything around that would be helpful.

*this is my first character and first actual RP post so if i have done anything wrong please enlighten me, i didn't have a chance t find any pictures of what i wanted but if you would like more of a description of my appearance or 'gloves' please let me know.*
