I saw nothing wrong with Jigglypuff and Clefairy, so you may use those.

I seem to have found a loophole with this. Snorunt is rare and is okay. Woot! That means I can start with it!

Name: Sakura
Age: 14
Appearance: Sakura has hair the color of sakura, which is where she got her name. Her eyes are blue, which match the dress she always wears.
Anything Else: Sakura moved from Johto with her family. Her father now is the fifth gym leader, whom she must defeat eventually. Sakura has always favored the ice types as well as the dark, which is why she chose her Igloo.
Pokémon: Snorunt named Igloo for reasons unknown.

Note: Starters from all games can be caught in the Safari Zone. That's just something I made up for the people who like torchic and treeko, or something similar.

Your starter must be at level five. After you defeat the first gym, you may have one Pokémon delivered to you as a present, as long as it's not in the rare category or a legendary (James Davy received the only exception). It can be up to level 13, which I changed from level five.

Appearance:Ryoko has long blond hair and dark blue eyes. She wears blue jeans with a white shirt and a black biker jacket over it. She wears black tennis shoes and carries a black pack to carry her things in.
Anything Else:Ryoko's peronality is fiesty and competitive. She never gives up and always loves a challenge. She has always had a love for pokemon and wants to be the number one pokemon master. Her family doesn't really like pokemon and kicked her out as soon as she said she wanted to be a pokemon master. That was when she was ten. She has been on her own ever since. She has always taken a liking to fire pokemon. They matched her firey personality.

Appearance: James has purple hair styled in dreadlocks and is an average height. He wears a maroon shirt with grey shorts and black boots. He also wears a red backpack that he uses for travel and a blue Pokétch that was given to him on his 10th birthday.
Anything Else: James is very caring and dependable with a kindness towards Pokémon. He is born in Mauville City and lives there to this day.

History: To become a pokemon trainer like she wanted to, she had to run away from her home two Island She got an a boat to hoenn and was originaly staying with her cousin. Whilst staying there caught a growlithe and named it Darkfire. (if its ok, Darkfire is like Ash's Pikachus in the cartoons as in it dosnt live in a pokeball)

Sakura climbed out of the moving van, tired of travel. Littleroot town was a small place with two houses and a few people around. Sakura wandered into her new bedroom and set the clock on her wall.

After exiting her house, Sakura heard a scream. A man was being chased by a poocheyna. "Help me!" he cried. "There are Pokémon in my bag. Choose one!"

Sakura examined the Pokémon in the bag. She then chose a snorunt.

The poocheyna was only level two, so it was easy to defeat. The man took Sakura back to his research center and gave her the Pokémon as a thank-you present. "Now, if anyone else comes along, I have more Pokémon for them."

Sakura's snorunt looked at her affectionately. "I will call you Igloo!"

I heard in Yellow, a Pikachu follows you everywhere. Yes, it's okay. Also, Pokémon from all regions can be caught here; they are just less common.

James was on his way to Littleroot Town when he saw a battle between a Poochyena and a Snorunt. When the battle was over, his interest in Pokémon training had risen, driving him to complete that final leg in his trip. He had arrived at Professor Birch's Lab. "Professor, I've come for my starter Pokémon," called James.
"Excellent," replied the professor as he led James to the lab, "You may choose any of these Pokémon." James was perusing what was available. He came across one that contained a sea weasel Pokémon with a flotation ring around its neck. "I'll pick that one," said James.
"That is a male Buizel from Sinnoh and an impressive one too," replied Prof. Birch, "Here you go and here's your Pokédex and five Poké Balls. Good luck on your journey."
"I'll do my best," replied James.

When James had entered Route 101, he decided to check out what his starter Pokémon was like. "Buizel, the Sea Weasel Pokémon. It swims by rotating its two tails like a screw. When it dives, its flotation sac collapses," said the Pokédex. "I'll name you Blavius," said James. After a while, he noticed a girl with hair the colour of cherry blossoms wearing a dress heading the same way as James was. "Hello there," called James as he ran up to the girl.
