A civil war
In the distant Narutoverse, Akatsuki has been defeated,
by none-other than Naruto. He defeated them alongside Sasuke, his former Gennin partner. Sasuke had defeated Itachi, his older brother, whom slayed his entire clan. After defeating Akatsuki, the leaf village hailed Naruto as the greatest shinobi who lived. Tsunade had grown old by this time and stepped down from being Hokage, leaving the title to Naruto. Sasuke returned to the leaf. Treated as the prodigal son by Naruto. He returned to his estranged love, Sakura Haruno, Who, after waiting for years, accepted his proposal. Naruto protected the village for years, and all was well. He had conquered the Kyuubi, and had achieved his dream of becoming Hokage. Even marrying Hinata, after her years of admiring him from the sideline. But the dream soon ended in a nightmare. The distant cry of Hinata Hyuuga broke the night. Naruto Uzumaki had been slain in his sleep. Hinata had caught sight of his killer. Kabuto Yakushi, a former subordinant of Orochimaru(whom Sasuke killed) had infiltrated the leaf, and killed Naruto in the dead of night. Leaving the village in chaos. Many suspicions were raised against Sasuke. Because he had, in his past, vowed openly to kill Naruto, in order to gain power to kill his brother(Itachi). But Hinata, along with the original nine, sided with Sasuke. The Village was split. Leaving strife and hatred. The leaf has been divided in Civil war with itself. The fate of the Leaf is one, uncertain. OOC

|
Tanjiro Inuzuka lowered a shoulder being followed by Hinote Uzamaki, his anbu partner. Smashing into the door it burst open and he rushed through the opening. Wood from the door littered the floor and Bishamone his best friend ran in behind the anbu. Tanjiro had heard Hinata scream and now came in seeing the poor woman over the Hokage's body.
There wasnt any blood, but thier rarely was when a ninja went to assinations. Looking to Hinote he motioned him over this must have been hard for him, that was his father. "..go comfort your mother. Bishmone.. lets go." Running to the window he stopped and knelt down. Even covered in the Anbu mask he sniffed the ground and found the killers sent. Standing up he took out the window. He took one look back and saw many more lights turning on in the Hokage's buildings. Many people were shouting down there, to the point where it all blended together. He used to give bishamone treats.. Tanjiro shook his head to get the memories of being around the Hokage out. He held back the emotions he didnt need them, not right now. He was Anbu, he served the Hokage he did not cry over the Hokage he did not remember the days playing around with the Hokages kids, and finding his daughter cute. Of the hokage rubbing his hair and placating him when he thought he would get in trouble for going to the Hokages on any small reason just to see his wife, he was young back then, they both were. Had looked around he was suprised, he had been going off alot quicker then he thought he was, and he went alot farther he was in his thoughts too much. Normally Tanjiro was a good Anbu and was able to seperate emotions from his buissness but this was diffrent. No matter how diffrent it was he would need to keep solid for his clan , his people and his village. Takeing off the roof he went into the forest and kept jetting through trees Bishamone was right to his left lopeing through the trees with as much ease as his master. They stopped At seeing a Cloaked figure standing along in the open. The moonlight shone upon the cloak though his face was covered. Landing easily bishamone stopped next to him. "..For mudering the Hokage I will kill you as is the punishment." The figure took off his hood to show a strange face, he had seen pictures and the Hokage had made warning that this may happen. The face was of Kabuto and Orchimaru as one yet diffent in one face. The voice was all Orochimaru, "yesss I murdered him.. are you too stop me where he could not? That would have made him expolded in anger if he didnt have his rage in control. "..You assinated him." Makeing some quick handsigns he raised his hands, "..chakra blade!" The claws on his hands grew then extended more with blades of pure chakra. "Bishmone lets go." Running at the enemy he raised a arm to claw him as Bishmone came from the flank. There was a smile and some quick hand signs. He woke up on the ground Bishamone to his side some way off. The world through a red haze he looked up his mask was off in the enemies hands, "A Inuzuka.. I never though your clan would achieve someone good enough to be a Anbu.. He looked up and throwing down the mask he ran off. The next few weeks after that intial attack were bad. Tanjiro was a anbu but since the Hokage died he was serving under his Widow the lady hinata. He remembered he used to once have a crush on the woman, she was still beautiful now, but she was too old for him she was nearly twice his age and of course a widow. It was him and Hinatas own son who guarded her most of the time. The two were the best in the Anbu so it only made sense. Over the weeks the clans had begun to fracture. The Uchias getting support from the Uzamaki-Hyuuga and most of the clans whos members had been with naruto on his retrieval of sauske. They all believed Hinata and knew that Sauske didnt do it. Them and others of the more generic ninja famalies and clans and some of the other powerful clans who hadnt played a role in it. Standing to her right Hinata sat across from her father. "..But father you cant do that you destroyed the village enough as it is." The other Hyuuga looked at his daughter, "The only people who have destroyed this village are my foolish daughter her dunce of a husband and that monster of a uchia! my will is done.. I tell you this now because I give you the offer to let us take the village back in peace and too take you back so you dont get hurt. The Hyuuga had left well most of them about 70 percent had left, and with them went many of the smaller clans. They left the village itself and set up thier own camps and built up a small city within a day near the original Village. Tanjiro looked outside a window, the village was only half filled, it felt like a ghost town. The Ramen shops were open, ironically enough those were the only shops which were open on the day of the Hokages death giveing out free food in his honor. Though the rest of the streets were bear, where you could not go three feet without bumping somebody you would now go down and would see a couple people. In the distance he saw a small fire flare up. By the lake, it must have been another Uchia-haruno practiceing thier Katon. those people are criminally good looking. He heard some sobbing and looked to see the Hokage's widow crying, Bishamone's head was in her lap sadly. That dog was as much her friend as Tanjiro himself. Though there was never time for grieving, a bird flew to the window sill and perched. He walked over and opened it, looking at the paper he cursed in his mind and turned back to the others, "..The Hyuugas are attacking." they got the message first but it would without a doubt be in the rest of the village in 5 mins. ((nice long intro post to help set up the world some more))

Chomaru did his seals gently and fast, and with a swift move he unleashed the great fireball which was his family jutsu. A large flare brightened up the forest as he did. Chomaru had trained there for some hours now, he wanted so badly to master it. Chomaru was the son of Sasuke and Sakura, and he was proud of it. He had the good looks of his father which also all his other brothers had, and his mothers eyes.
Several weeks had gone by after the murder of Naruto, and Chomaru despised those who blamed his father. "My father would never do such thing," he said to himself in anger as he again unleashed the great fireball with fast forming the seals. After some tries he had to take a break and relax. He had used to much chakra and his body needed rest. Chomaru was thirteen years old, but still he was very skilled in the ways of the ninja, and he had mastered his secondary jutsus long ago. Chomaru often used to train his younger brothers, three of them actually. He tried very much to teach them the secondary jutsus. He mainly trained them in the phoenix fire technique. The other brothers he had, which were above eight years old he helped in training them the family jutsu, which he almost had mastered himself. He looked at the sun and could see he was late to meet his younger brothers, so he swiftly jumped into the trees and went with a haste while the wind flew trough his hair.

Hinote followed tanjiro into the building. He saw his father's corpse
and was astonished, How could someone defeat the conqurer of Kyuubi? Akatsuki? His father had conqured the whole world, and yet here he lay, dead, by the hand of some scoundrel. Hinote almost fell to his mothers side. His ninja training failing him, tears could be seen, glistening down his jaw, under his mask. The dead of Night was erupted in a flurry of screams and panic. tanjirotook off after the killer, trailing him in the fashion only inuzuka' could. Weeks passed after the killer escaped. And the decline of the peace in the leaf was threatening balance in the ninja world. Chaos was taking over. ======================== Hinote was sitting with his back turned to his mother, as she cried on his shoulders, A bird landed in the window. "..The Hyuuga are attacking." Hinote turned and took his mother tightly in his arms. "I will kill whoever did this mother, I will not rest, until Father's soul does." He stood up, and took his mother over to the wall, he opened a passage to the secret Konoha bunker. "The regular bunker won't due, but you can find shelter in the land of Tea, lady Tsunade has contacts there, and they will take care of you." Hinote's hand could barely stand to let go of his mothers'. But he managed. He appeared next to tanjiro and looked out the window. "Lord-Hokage-sama's death has taken priority under protecting the village. Let us fight off the Hyuuga. Though don't kill, if it can be helped. They are after all, my Clan. And we don't want to support this strife. You know as well as I do that Sasuke-Sama did not kill my father. And if what you have told me about Orochimaru, one of the legendary three leafs has returned, then we must try and stop the this war. If we don't Orochimaru will crush the leaf, while we're fight among ourselves. Collecting the strength of the will of fire is what is going to stop this." Hinote took a step onto the window frame. "Lets go investigate what means they use to attack us."

Tanjiro looked at Hinata sadly as she went towards the bunker. With a slight motion of a finger four more Anbu apeared and walked in with hinata. "..for all intents and purposes the Lady Hinata is the Hokage." masked faces nodded and walked in with her. Walking over to hinote he nodded to them and they took off. Tanjiro stepped right off after him with Bishamone behind of them.
First they stopped over at lake with the Uchia's training there. As with the Anbus they apeared near to the children thier father was off in the distance a bit. Sauske was as powerful as any ninja there was and more so. But even he could not stand against all the ninjas from the other side. "..Sauske Uchia, The Hyuuga are-" While he explained it, Bishamone always a dog walked up to the uchia currently practecing his koton. Tail thumping some on the ground. "Bishamone.. lets go." The two took off, with Bishamone following, sauske would tell his children as he pleased. Again they took off. While the Hokage widow was gone they took orders from the head of the AnBu, powerwise they would have been that, but they werent very good at directing people around in a calm fashion and makeing completely unbaised decisions. Jumping over the walls of the city they took off through the trees all three. Trying to see some sort of sign of where they were comeing from or in how many numbers. Going in farther they saw a body on the floor. Kunai littered around the corpse with blood in a pool around it. Looking at it, the body was that of a Uzamaki, dirty blonde hair covered in blood, empty white eyes staring up. The fact was it didnt make sense at all.. why would there be a Uzamaki-hyuuga out already. "..this has to be some sort of Tr-" but it was too late. Hinote ran forward, though as soon as he got near the corpse it changed into a regular Hyuuga male. Instantly he came up to attack useing the typical fighting style. Tanjiro watched the second that it took hinote to smack the weapon arm away and makeing lighting quick hand signs summoned his clones and begun his version of the 8-Trigrams. Tanjiro landed as it was finished and the enemy flew back against a wall. He wasnt dead so they could use him later.With a sniff both he and Bishamone let out growls. "..more Hyuugas." They walked into a ambush, well Hinote did, but Tanjiro couldnt blame he, he himself had done similar things before. Makeing some handsigns his claws extended with Chakra energy. "...watch your Chakra points my friends."

As Chomaru arrived at the place where he was supposed to meet his brothers, they were not to be found. "This has to be something serious," he said to himself anxious. "They are never late, I need to find father," he said to himself with a fierce look. Swiftly as the wind Chomaru jumped trough the forest to find his dad. He had a feeling of where he could be. After some moments he finally found Sasuke, his father. He looked at him nervous.
"Father. I couldn't find my brothers," he said to his father nervous. "Do not worry Chomaru. They are safe. I had to hid them because the Hyuuga are attacking the village," Sasuke told his son. "Chomaru if you want, you can hide too. But you can also help defend the village," Sasuke told him gently. Chomaru looked at his father. This was his chance to finally prove himself to him. "Father i will help the villagers from the attack," Chomaru said and swiftly jumped back into the trees heading for the village.

Hinote smashed the impostor against the wall, his chakra thoroughly sealed.
In the next moment, Hinote and Tanjiro vanished, as a flurry of shuriken speckled the ground. Using his com. To talk to Tanjiro, Hinote whispered so as not to bring attention to himself, hiding in the bushels of a large tree. ((>= over com.)) ">Tanjiro, I see at least 5 signature aura, all from the Hyuuga. But there are at least 25 others, of whom I do not recognize. Be on the look out for--" At that moment, a thrust came from the outside of the bush, and knocked Hinote onto the ground. Hinote smashed into the ground, the product of a focused Jyuuken strike. He coughed up blood. The attacker was a former Hyuugan-branch member. Though Naruto had done as he promised Neji all those years ago. The Branch and Main Hyuuga did not get along. And the former branch members did not like the fact that the kyuubi had married lady Hinata. Hinote vanished after recovering. He reappeared, his hands blazing with the jyuuken, but before he could strike. He was stopped by to ninja who sprang from the bushes. Before they could lay a hand on him, Hinote had his katanna from his back, and held it infront of him, on guard. The hyuuga took the jyuuken basic stance, while the other two disappeared from sight. "Stand down, brother. This strife is not the answer." "The Hyuuga are the noblest clan in all the fire country. And you side with Sasuke Uchiha? He worked for Orochimaru all those years ago! Whats wrong with you!" "My Father trusted Sasuke-sama, and I will not accept that he killed him." "Then this strife is the only way to restore balance to the fire." "So be it" A lightning fast flurry of attacks were thrown back and forth. A spectacle like no other! Hinote combined his jyuuken with dojojutsu, the art of the sword. Spinning the blade magnificently, as the blue auric chakra shot from their hands, smashing together in giant explosions. Suddenly 2 otheer Hyuuga appeared, as though the first had done Bushin no jutsu, but no, they were of the five he had seen earlier. The four of them smashed and clashed together, the jyuuken style a gleaming show. As the fight spread, Hinote had managed to keep his vital organs out of the way of the six deadly hands that surrounded him. But, finally he was struck, and an explosion of chakra sent him against a tree. He pulled his katanna once more, and again, combined his dojojutsu with his jyuuken. He managed to pick of the extra two. But the third was stubborn. Though as skilled as he was, he fell. With a swift slice from a hidden kunai under Hinote's sleeve, blood covered his arm. ">*cough* Tanjiru, three Hyuuga dead, 2 more out there. I've got to take cover and administer aid to my wounds. I'll be back in action within the hour.<" After the transmission was heard by Tanjiro, a dozen ninja showered him(Tanjiro) with shuriken.

When the attack came Tanjiro took off in the opposite direction of his team member. this wouldnt have happaned had he calmed down.. oh well time to fight. The com message came through, Tanjiro kept his com nice and low so it didnt hurt his senitive hearing. >"..look out for charka palms and roations, I know i've fought you before."<
In the tree he looked to the side as a Few kunai came at him from a nearby bush. He was just going to deflect them but he saw the tags on them. As they came in his hand worked in a flash deflecting the kunai in various directions as far from him as they could be. A last one came up which he grabbed by the scroll spun around and threw back into the bush. It exploded with a scream. Bishamone barked and he turned around in time to see his ninja dog jump atop a generic ninja who had tried to attack from behind. Bishamone fiinished it quickly with a ripped out throat as Tanjiro landed next to him. His fangs glowing with Chakra he turned as he smelled a ninja, clawing him across the chest and sending him flying defeated. He heard growls and screams behind of him as Bishamone was defeating a few ninja on his own. Tanjiro looked up at dropping ninja and side stepping he grabbed him by the head and hurled him forward. His free hand grabbed a incomeing explosive kunai which he threw at the flying body. Makeing him explode taking out 4 more around him. "Well bishmone.. this shouldnt be too diffic-" he words cut off as he had to jump back to dodge a glowing palm. "watch out friend theres a Hyuuga." The other one came out running at his side attacking. Jumping over the attack he shot his foot up kicking the hyuuga in the face, and spining in the air to bring his foot down on the others shoulder. Thinking that now he had a good chance of not getting his chakra cut off he got kicked from above by a ninja who took the chance. While he did go flying back he grabbed the foot of the attack and as he hit a tree he hurled him back at the hyuugas to stop them from running at him. One jumped over the body but was tackled mid air by Bishamone, though the hyuuga was smart enough to roll out from under the dog and roll along the ground. Tanjiro got up and ran at the Hyuugas. One comeing at him with a palm missed as Tanjiro ducked and grabbed his leg with his Hand his Chakra blade Claws digging in and yanking hard enough to set him up in the air. Bringing that same hand around he grabbed his neck and slamed him into the ground once, twice, thrice and a fourth time. Letting the limp neck out of his hands he turned to see bishamone fly be him and get struck by a palm in the arm. >"I kinda of noticed already! be safe."< he fell and spun so he landed on his back and pulled the Hyuuga down so he took nearly all the Shuriken aimed for him, then kicked him hard in the stomach, he went flying off to be tackled by bishamone. Reaching behind of him Tanjiro grabbed his Anbu najito and threw it, it took the Hyuuga in the chest and pinned him to a tree, standing up he saw many of the weak generic ninja walking towards him more then a few turned and ran off. Standing up he rolled his neck and flexed the one arm he had. "..Bishamone..lets get ride of these last 12 and get back too Hinote." He didnt need his other arm to get rid of the rest. Soon he was running off and getting back to his partner.

Hinote administered the aid to his wounds, and silently re-entered the forest area. He kept quiet and scanned the area with his byakugan.
">Tanjiro, I'm back in the game. Lets request a clean-up crew and see about reconing some info on the Hyuuga's next move." Hinote flicked from one tree to the other, heading in the direction of Tanjiro's aura.

Ai Uzamaki stood in the city near the main gate along with some squad leaders. They stood in a circle talking quietly to themselves. They had all heard of the attack comeing already so now they gathered by the shut main gate. Many people milled about now on quick buissness prepareing for the attack. Though now with all the people it was still barely anything of what was once there before the split.
Ai sighed lightly as the jounin parted and shot off to get thier Students. She adjusted the Jounin best she wore and the Headband she tied on her waist. "alright.." she took a deep breath and put a hand to her ear, she gave all of her squad members them and since today they were supposed to be training they should have them. "Squad 4 assemble at the front gate hurry it up were going to do something live action now I think your all more then ready." she was certain too, they were all good. They had to learn this way, and they had already done some missions with fighting in the past and she would be thier to protect them. She wondered where her anbu brother was and where her mother was. --------- Tanjiro walked slowly through the forest after the battle was done. He had taken his fair share of shuriken and Kunai from that attack and some when he was killing the weak ninja, it was easy but he couldnt deflect well with one hand. He had walked for a while until he saw the Hyuuga who Hinote had left alive. So Tanjiro along with Bishamone walked over to him. The Hyuuga looked up at him completely paralyzed and cut off from his chakra completely. Sitting down against a tree faceing him he groaned a little from the Shuriken shakeing inside of him when he sat down. Bishamone sat down next to him on all fours nuzzleing Tanjiro with his great head. "..i'll be fine Bishamone we've been through worse." He really would be alright it wasnt a very bad wound.. or well very bands wounds. Slowly he begun to take them all out so it didnt cause more blood to be shed or the infection chances to increase. "..so..You a hyuuga from the otherside.. you should have some information in you." ">i'm cleaning up.. we got a hyuuga here."
