It had been six months since he had left her. Autumn was in shambles and everyone knew it. Those gorgeous eyes of hers had lost all of their life and light. She kept up her appearance, but she didnt walk with that confidence she had before. He didnt need her anymore. He was with someone else, someone better than her. Autumn sighed softly as she arrived at school. It was her senior year. Just a few more months and she would be rid of this school and all the memories it held. She stayed away from the hill next to the football field. That was the first place they kissed.

She sat down on top of the stone wall that made up the walkway to the school. Her arms were wrapped around her middle, which was normal for her these days. Autumn told everyone it was how she kept herself from falling apart. Her fingers rubbed up and down her arms. It was rather chilly and in her numbness and in her fogginess, she had forgotten her jacket. Autumn forget a lot of things these days. The girl sighed heavily and she pulled her knees up to her chest. At least this could keep her warm until class started.

Zack woke slowly from his sleep, something he had been doing for a very long time. Getting up was always the hardest part of the morning for him, at first he would ne happy his first thoughts being of Autumn then he was sad when his second thought was also of Autumn. As he left his house and entered his car, turning off the radio unable to listen to the beautiful love songs that were played twenty-four seven.

Walking to the school from the parking lot he saw Autumn curled up against the wall. At first he considered just walking by to avoid the pain that comes with talking to her, but he wasn't that selfish and could never do so. Noticing she didn't have a jacket he quickly removed his own and draped over her like a blanket. He then sat next to her, all of this was done without a word on his part hoping to prolong conversation.

Autumn spotted Zack. He always made her smile. As he walked up to her and draped his jacket over her shoulders, that rare smile of hers came out. A few small whispers were heard, but she ignored them. The girl looked over at Zack and she touched his face lightly. "Have I ever told you you're beautiful?" Her voice was soft and kind. Lately she had been noticing Zack in a different way. He wasnt just her friend anymore, he was something more. Autumn wasnt sure what that something was, but it was something. Zack meant a lot to her and she liked when he was close to her like this.

Alex was already well on her sluggish way to school. Her headphones were blaring as usual, leaving Alex along in her own world as she made her way towards the stone walkway. She coudln't hear anything around her, glad as a few groups of girls passed by giggling, and she liked it this way. She rather not deal with anyone around her, simply due to much of the talk lately did NOTHING but annoy her. Perhaps another reason as to why Alex preffered walking deafened.

The topic? Of course everyone knew about it, and Alex was already so sick of listening and watching that quite a few of her classmates knew to avoid her altogether. She sighed heavily, her eyes sheilded by her large, dark glasses as usual, despite the misty morning. It was then that she rounded the corner to see none other then Autumn and Zack sitting together on the wall. She smiled briefly, removing her headphones from her ears as she was ready to go over and greet them, but instead, Alex was greeted with the verbal vomit of a few bystanding classmates about her two friends.

"Why dont you keep your mouth's shut already? Do you have a problem? Dont you have a life of your own to worry about?" She hissed, practically knocking herself through a few girls standing along the railing of the stone walkway. Alex growled...and the girls squealed as they quickly retreated. This was bound to steal anyone's lingering attention away from Autumn and Zack...Something Alex intended

Zack was shocked by Autumn's actions, she had never been so affectionate before. He took her hand into his own and was about to say something when he saw a bunch of girls running from the presence Alex. He cursed under his breath quietly enough so no one could hear and motioned her over with his left hand, his right hand was still holding Autumn's gentle enough that she could take it back if she wanted to.

Autumn smiled when Zack took her hand in his. It felt nice. She turned to see Alex and a giggle escaped her lips. A small gasp was heard from the girls who were running. Had she really just giggled? Over the last six months, she had been silent and lifeless. What was going on? Was she finally getting over him? Autumn was even surprised she had giggled. The girl looked at Alex and she waved. Alex was her best girl friend and they would always be friends. It was Alex who had told her he would do this to her, but Autumn had been in love. She was glad that Alex was still her friend.

Alex stood silent for a moment, brooding as she watched after the retreating girls. It didn't make sence to her, as to why people stick their noses into other people's buisness so much, and she knew how it affected Autumn. Alex crossed her arms, turning back her attention over to Autumn and Zack sitting together on the wall. After glancing over her shoulder once more, satisfied that noone seemed to be staring or whispering any longer, Alex moved over to her friends.

"Hey you two, What's up?" she asked, uncrossing her arms so that she could slide her oversized glasses up on top of her head. She smiled slightly, noticing their hands clasped together but said nothing. Instead, she moved over to lean against the wall beside the other side of Autumn.

Autumn glanced over at Alex. "Not much. I just got here a few minutes ago." She stated to the girl. "How was your weekend?" Yes, it was a Monday. Most of the students around them were moaning and groaning over it being Monday. They had been out of school since Friday because of a Teacher Work Day. She sighed and looked up at the sky. Autumn wanted nothing more than to go home and just curl up. She looked back to Zack and that feeling went away. The corners of her lips pulled up into a small smile.

Alex shrugged at Autumn's question, watching her smile out of the corner of her eye when Autumn turned to look at Zack. "Well, my weekend consisted of pretty much nothing but work. Besides that though, just the usual." She smiled, turning to watch as a few people passed by waving to them. Alex nodded, and waved back before she looked back to Zack and Autumn beside her.

"How about you, Autumn? Zack? You guys doing alright?" Alex always worried, more so often especially after what happened with Autumn's ex-boyfriend. It was something too many people were talking about, and something that just needed time to be left alone to heal. Alex surely was not going to mention anything about him, though her overly concern towards her friends was heard in her words.

Dazzling golden eyes turned to look at Alex again. "My weekend was okay. I stayed inside most of the day. I played my piano again." Something else that was shocking. She hadn't touched that piano since Ollie had stopped paying attention to her right before they broke up. Autumn smiled as she looked down at the ground. Her attention then returned to Alex. "I've been doing good lately..I guess. I'm still kind of hurting." She knew her friend would pick up on what she was talking about.

[[Note: This part of the roleplay started with the beginning and it is heading for 'the shock bleeds the red from my face', but it wont be there until Autumn actually sees Ollie with Selene...Just letting you know...If thats confusing just PM me.]]
