| The thud of a body falling from her arms hit the ground before her as a group of elders walked into her bedroom, their mouths falling open as they looked down at the corpse of her dresser, an old human woman who was hired to dress her. She put a finger to her lips and innocently looked at them, her blue eyes giving off an unnatural glow, "Oops.." "May, what have we told you!?" "No eating in the house..." she muttered, lowly, looking down at the ground, as the elder helped her down off the stool, her long flowing red gown touching the floor behind her, a black corset lacing up her front. She wore her long blonde hair down, a simple head band of daisies sitting atop her head and she wiped away the blood from her chin, her dainty fingers stained red. "I didn't mean t-" "No time for excuses child, it's time you met with the Prince. We've come to take you." She sighed. She didn't want to be married off for some stupid clan. She didn't even /like/ her family, or anyone around her. As she followed them out of her bedroom, the moonlight that shone through the window reflected upon her fair pale skin, a soft glow surrounding her complete form as she left. They were supposed to meet in an hour at his Manor, where they'd be left a lone to converse about the future of each of their clans and their lives together. As they left, someone else would come into her bedroom and clean up the 'mess' May had left.

Dominic moved swiftly through the double-door entrance of the lounge, all the Elders of his clan huddled together in a small group, whispering nonsensical things about what would come of the marriage and how it would effect both clans. He huffed at seeing his father sitting at the head of a rather long table stationed in the lounge, his eyes focused on the roaring fire in the fireplace. The young vampire prince moved to stand beside his father, placing his hand on the older vampire's shoulder. "What ails you, father?" he asked quietly so as not to disrupt the Elders' talking. His father's deeper, more faded red eyes glanced up at him, a small smile forming on his face. "Nothing, my son, I just hope all goes well for you and your new bride-to-be. You know something grand will come of this, don't you?" Dominic nodded at his father, marveling the age-worn tone of his voice as he spoke. "I swear that I will not let you down." A sudden movement caught Dominic's eye, and he turned to see a small group of humans entering through the double doors. "Your Highness...Prince Dominic...the Princess of the Mystic Clan and her Elders have arrived." Dominic straightened his appearance as he moved away from his father and moved towards the center of the room. "Bring them in."

| The doors slowly opened, revealing the three elders, who stood protectivley in front of the princess. They parted, exposing her, as she walked gracefully forward, her gown dragging down by her feet as her eyes met with his for the very first time. She grinned, baring her pointed fangs, "So it's you...Prince Dominic, eh?" she sneered slightly, "You certainly dress well, but can you act well?" The elders whispered to eachother, as she turned to them, "Please leave us." "But we-" "Now." they bowed their heads and huddled out of the room, closing the doors behind them. "Shall we sit?" she gestured, moving over to the sofa and sitting down, patting a seat next to herself. "It's very nice to meet you." she muttered, her eyes doing everything but staring at him directly. She couldn't bring herself to do it.

Dominic watched keenly as the Princess entered the lounge area, surrounded by three of the Elders from her clan. His eyes widned a fraction as they moved away to reveal the Princess's face. She had to be, in his eyes, the perfection of beauty and grace. The next few seconds unfolded rather quickly, the Princess ordering the elders to exit as she moved across the room and sat confortably on the sofa. The elders of his clan remained in the room, though they stood a distance away, and his father remained where he was by the fire, observing with thoughtful eyes. Dominic moved forward upon the Princess's request, sitting just across from her. He could not stop his eyes from roaming her pale skin. he had been used to his clan's darker-than-usual complexion for vampires that he had forgotten just how pale other vampires were. It seemed to add to her beauty that much more. "It's very nice to meet you." He smiled just the slightest as his tanned hand came out and took hold of her pale one gently, bringing the cool limb to his lips and kissing the soft skin there. "As it is nice to finally meet you, Princess May." He pulled away from the light contact, fully aware of the eyes watching in facination as the two conversed. "I would like to have the chance to know you better before our...marriage is set," he stated lightly as his eyes narrowed in a relaxed state. Then, almost as an afterthought, he said, "I must say, you are a very lovely creature."
