"Oh Wow I didn't expect that... I mean I'm Sarah nice to meet you. Would you like me to buy you a new drink?"

"Ha yea... You caught me on a good day. I'm Pat. Nice to meet you." Pat said smiling. "Na forget the drink, it's fine. I'm sure they want to start closing up around here anyway." Pat was surprised how good he felt himself.

Maybe this bite has something to do with that? he thought Maybe I shouldn't be so afraid to give into it. I'm stronger and faster than before. I heal faster. Maybe it helps me heal emotionally as well? Either way... I feel great, I shouldn't be resisting what's making me feel this good.

Just as that train of thought finished, Qian appeared in front of him. Talk about tempting... "Hey. You wanna get out of here? I'm finished for the night. You wanna try find somewhere quiet to talk?" Pat had been with the same girl since he was 15, physically for 5 years and mentally for the next 5. She had been his first and only girlfriend. But even he could tell that Qian was hitting on him. Or so it appeared at least. “Sounds great.” He said, smiling back to her.

After some time, Ulrezaj woke up and decided to, instead of sleeping, go watch the moonlight. He got up, walked towards the entrance while mentally dimming the golden glow from the runes inside the building. Ulrezaj then stood in the entrance and looked up towards the moon, to anyone of this world, it would look like he was somehow standing inside a wall with most of his body. Ulrezaj then saw the runes all over his body start to glow very softly, are they somehow.....resonating with the moonlight? he wondered idly.

"Ha yea... You caught me on a good day. I'm Pat. Nice to meet you." Pat said smiling. "Na forget the drink, it's fine. I'm sure they want to start closing up around here anyway."

Sarah smiled at Pat and was thankful she had caught him a good mood. Not only was she not going to be harmed but she didn't have to buy him a drink. She looked around the bar and noticed that Pat was right alot of people were leaving and it looked like the bar was closing. Sarah nodded her good bye and made a slight wave to Pat not sure if he noticed or not he seemed to be in deep thought. Oh well not like she was gonna see him again didn't really matter if he saw her say good bye, let him think she was rude. With that Sarah turned and continued her walk to the door when another thought ocurred to her. She had gotten here by taxi and there was no way she was gonna be able to phone one to pick her up at a bar this time of night or rather almost 4 in the morning the sun would be coming up soon. If she was lucky maybe she would see someone who was leaving that had a car and could give her a lift and if not it looked like she was walking. Maybe she would stop and get some breakfast before she went home there was that tinay diner across the street from here house that she frequently enjoyed. Either way she had to get there first, is stepped out onto the desserted sidewalk smelling the damp ground and hearing the faint sound of birds. She looked around for anyone that could help her out....

Ulrezaj heard someone not far away, which he guessed was someone who was leaving from the bar. Might as well check to see if the person needs any help Ulrezaj thought. Ulrezaj then saw that it was someone he remembered having seen earlier in the bar. Ulrezaj went towards her and then asked her whether she needed any help getting home or not, and if so, where she lived.

"If you wanted blood, you could have just asked, girl. Seriously. Asking for what you want will get you a long way in the world."

Tristan nodded to Nimh before he started talking to the vampire again. "Like my oldest and most valued patron said, saying what you want helps you a long way." Tristan smiled and grabbed an glass to prepare the lady vampire a drink. "And here you go, a real bloody Mary and as for the room if it's temporary for a couple of days then I got some plenty upstairs. This is a safe heaven and I occasionally rent rooms to those who need some shelter." He grinned at the vampire.

Sarah was taken back for minute by the appearance of the of the guy standing infront of her. She had never seen such a colorful Demon before...... assuming he was Demon he looked out of place in this world. She noticed the ruins on his body and that they glowed, Sarah had always been a sucker for glowy things. She reached out her hand wanting to touch them but pulled back figuring it would be rude, plus she didn't know what the rune could do and wanted to keep her hand. She was brought back to reality whe she remmeber the guy had spoken to her. He had asked if she wanted help and where she lived. She looked into his red and black swirling eyes and meekly replied.

"Um yes help would be most helpful ... I could show you the way to my house." Looking around she didn't see any cars she wondered how he had planned on getting her there.

Alesia rolled her eyes and looked back at the person who interrupted her and the bartender. "It's not my fault that I learned to be subtle rather than blunt in a human world you know. And you didn't get what I meant at all." She took the drink in her hands and took a small sip from it. "This will do for now, but I prefer my blood fresh. So since you like bluntness so much. I want a live victim to drink from, preferably younger than 40."

Again she looked back to the man who had interrupted them. It would take a lot of getting used to, to live in a city were apparently demons and angels could be a lot more open about who they were and what they wanted.

Ulrezaj thought about it for a while, then replied "No, that's not actually necessary. Just tell me where you live, or if you could, give a thorough description of how your home looks like.", Ulrezaj then saw her reaching out towards the runes before suddenly stopping, and replied "The runes aren't dangerous to touch, if that's what you're thinking, and it's fine by me if you do touch them."

Sarah smiled at the man and didn't hesitate this time, she really wanted to touch his runes. She reached out her hand and plced it gently on his arm, she gasped and looked up at him in surprise "They are warm" she said with a smile. She was abit embarrassed by how close she was to him now and stepped back. She glanced him over again noticing how beautiful the runes were but yet they didn't rob him of any of his masulinity. She then told him about her house.

"Lets see I live in a red brick apartment building there are fire escapes on it and some vines... oh and across the street is my favorite diner Big Joe's." She hoped that would be enough and wondered how that description would help him find his way.

Tristan looked at the vampire for a moment before nodding and slightly smiling. "Fresh blood can be arranged... but I will not give you a victim to feed from, this is an safe heaven for all... including humans." His smile and eyes were hard for a moment when he said the last part before he was smiling again and waved Alvina to come closer. Tristan looked at her with an apologitic smile and nodded towards the vampire, Alvina understood and hold out her arm.

Tristan placed an glass under her arm and had gotten a small knife in his hand which he used to cut in Alvina's arm. While blood dripped fast into the glass Tristan grabbed a bandage and waited untill the glass before he placed an bandage on the wound. "Thanks dear, let Cass look at the wound to properly heal it with his mystics."

Tristan took the glass and placed it in front of the lady vampire and smiled. "Here you go, not as fun as drinking from a live victim but fresher is not possible and do you still want that room?"
