Default Creatures of the night

This roleplay is about Creatures of the night; Vampires of course.

The setting takes place in the always busy New York City. Most vampires reside in this place because of the populace.

((Okies, so intro post right?))

Celeste was bored, the night was young and well so was she in a sense, but she couldn't hide her agitation and boredom. Her stomach was still full from her last feed and she had no reason to go looking for a new kill. Truth be told, she was getting worried that vampire hunters would be onto her if she kept killing so often.

"I need to get out of here," she said softly as she rose from her 'bed' and got dressed for the 'day' ahead. She allowed her lilac hair to fall softly around her face, giving her a mysterious appearance.

She left her home, wandering the streets of New York, to find some fun.

Alexia walked down the dusky street of the N.Y city, then pulled up her long black scarf, dodging her eyes back and forth, careful not to be seen. She saw a random human walking down the street and slowly walked behind her.

"Hello"She whispered enigmaticly, then grabbed her throat towards her teeth, her scarf falling down, then sinking them into the womans pale skin, and dropped her to the ground, licking her teeth.

She was Faith now. As Faith walked down the streets, pulling the scarf up, her slender legs with the converse tapping, almost to a rhythm, her arms swaying to and fro, her hidden smile seductive. She stopped outside a coveniant store and bought a soda, no reason.

Renita Stryder, or Reni, had just gotten off work from working in a downtown diner called Hanson's Diner. It was a cozy little restaurant, a little old-style but it was cozy. There was a counter with red cushioned stools with silver holders. There were stripes along the main route of the floor, trays to put food on, old ice cream makers. It literally looked like the place had suddenly popped up from the 1960's or something like that, but Reni did not mind.

She quickly changed into some casual clothing, a pair of faded blue jeans and a pale blue t-shirt with her favorite black tennis shoes or sneakers. Her black hair remained tied into a tight braid in the back. Reni left the diner with her pack strings over her shoulders with her arms swinging as she walked. The sun was either beginning to set, or was just about ready to finish setting - not really able to tell because of tall buildings. She was tired and was ready to get home and relax for the night.

Her right hand patted her right pocket, just making sure that the pepper spray that she kept in the pocket was still there.

"Eight o'clock." Ezekiel's voice rang throughout his empty apartment, that strong raspy voice beating his watch as it chirped a electronic tone. Beep.. Beep.. Beep... This was the noise he listend to as he threw on his usual attire for the night over his body. Vest, Clipping those tiny flash grenades to the silk, fastening his loaded pistol into his belt before throwing on the large trenchcoat, long fingers busily working on the buttons and then finally flipping the belt over his waist. Switching on his stereo, Ezekiel roamed to the other side of the apartment to gather the rest of his gear.

"Rise up this morning, smile with the rising sun.. Three little birds, each by my doorstep.. singing sweet songs.. A melody pure and true..." He sang beneath his breath to the music, hands busy at cleaning the long dagger in his hand before quickly flipping it into his wrist-cuff. "Every little thing.. is gonna be alright." He whisperd in a song-like reassurance to himself as he loaded the garlic spray canister into his belt, along with many vials of holy water and a tin cross. Flipping closed the leather case on his belt, Ezekiel made one last check that he had everything.

Pulling a wool hat over his head and tying his pony tail tight behind his back, The slayer left his apartment. Locking the door, He took a few deep breaths before thumping down the stairs and throwing himself into the darkness of the street. "Don' worry about a thing.." He hummed to himself, the elderly slayer doing anything he could to keep his spirits up. He has been in this game for fifty years, slayed hundredpon hudnreds of vampires and done a severe harm to the vampiric community. They definetly knew he was here. Pale eyes scanned the alleys as Ezekiel walked, long fingers running their tips through the short, gray beard bushing down his chin- the other hand reassuringly tight over his pistol.

"Afternoon Reni." He spoke out to Reni, grinning through dull cold of the creeping night. "You worked late tonight, I usually only see you during the days." He said to her through the threshold of the diner door.

Jade awoke, the red display of the clock next to her bed glaringly bright in the dark room. Her 20th floor apartment was always this way; pitch black, the windows all covered in solid black blinds. She could handle the light, though she preferred the darkness. Her eyes pierced the darkness and she moved to get dressed, then pulled a blind to the side, checking that it was in fact plenty dark outside now, the last new rays of sunlight vanishing behind the buildings. She swung the window open and jumped out, landing on the fire escape. In another quick motion she grabbed ladder and slid down to street level, landing on her motorcycle.

Moments later she was headed down the street, heading nowhere in particular yet... normally she'd make her way to a nearby night club. She needed to feed tonight, or else risk her other self surfacing, in which case who knew what would happen. Night clubs were almost always a good place to find food... dark, anonymous, and certainly no shortage of people looking to leave with a beautiful girl. Unfortunately the crowds wouldn't be big enough yet; she'd have to wait. She didn't just pick anyone, though... she had a code of sorts, and tried to pick only those who seem to deserve it the most.

She noticed a lilac-haired woman up ahead, then quickly corrected herself. Wait, no... vampire... she thought as her vampire senses kicked in. Oddly enough, she didn't hand around other vampires very much... feeling like a bit of an outcast... she was, afterall, a daywalker.

Ezekiels attention was taken away from the familiar face in the restraunt as he turned to the low sound of a motorcyle engine roaring down the street behind him. His eyes faded for a few second, staring into nothing. All the sound around him drained untill all he could hear was the rush of his blood pumping in and out of his heart... Thump Thump.. "I've gotta go.." He said, voice distant as he tapped on the wood frame. "You know my number, give my cellphone a call if you need help." Thump Thump.. "Bye"

Ezekiel broke into full sprint towards the on-coming sound of the cycle. He could feel the drivers life force, they were one of the rare vampires. Normally, if he sensed a regular Vampire he would let them go, but he couldnt chance that this daywalker could be 'Thee' Breeder. The cycle was in plain sight now, ripping down the barren road. Ezekiel stood in the middle of the street, locking eyes with the single headlight of the Motorcycle. "Everything is gonna be alright." He soothed himself, running over in his mind his next move, if she stopped.

Matthew was walking down the road in the now dimming sunlight. He was finally able to leave his apartment, the sun could no longer hurt him. Matt didn't own a car, he thought that they were useless since it seemed like he could travel a mile in a few seconds. He looked at every single passer-bys face and looked directly into their eyes. The more beautiful the eyes, the more beautiful the blood Matthew always thought to himself.

Up ahead, at least a three blocks, Matthew saw someone stand in the middle of the street infront of a motorcycle. Now, Matt would normally wouldn't care, but the person who stood infront of the motocycle, there was something different about him. Even from such a distance he could smell his rich blood, no he had to be the Threat. Matthew didn't want this fool to die instantly, without pain, he thought that no matter what, this guy had to suffer for what hes done to his race. Matt quickly ran, which seemed like he teleported to the street across from the motorcycle and the man. However, no matter how fast Matt ran now, he couldn't do anything, he just hoped that the biker stopped in time.
Matthew's thirst for blood was great tonight, but he knew he had to control himself, because he wanted that slayer to be his thirst-quenching meal.

Reni took her bag and slipped it off one shoulder, pausing in her steps and stuck her hand into her bag to look for something. It popped out, retrieving a little music player that she could use when she was walking home. A second later she had her bag situated perfectly against her back and her player in her pocket. Though the sound of a voice startled her from her moment of peace, enough that she dropped her little piece of technology onto the ground. The door she had opened had nearly hit him in the process. A hand flew over her heart and the other to her forehead.

"Ez, if I've told you once, I have told you a thousand times. You can't scare me like that, you'll give me a heart attack one of these days." Reni said with a bit of laughter, but that was about all Reni would be able to get out before Ezekiel got that familiar far-off look upon his face and in his eyes. The girl was informed a little bit about what Ez did in his personal life, he hunted vampires but that was about all she knew. Personally, Reni didn't even believe in the creatures. Never had she seen one, and she didn't have proof they existed.

However, the girl never voiced her opinions upon Ez. He was in such a business and he was a bit of a friend of hers, even if she was not a friend of his. A cool breeze brushed by as he took off away from her. Reaching up, her right hand removed the hair tie from her hair and pulled the braid out. The black strands blew freely in the air before she put her earbuds in and turned down a road adjacent to the one that Ezekiel had taken off upon. If she needed help, she would call. But who would harm her this night?

Jade's eyes narrowed as a man stepped out into the middle of the road directly in front of her. By the looks of him, she figured he must be the slayer she'd heard rumors of. Not to mention there would be no other reason for him to be so obviously confrontational. She could tell he was experienced... most slayers hung around the usual vampire haunts in wait, and then tracked from there; few would be able to tell she was a vampire so quickly, one of the reasons she bothered with using a bike at all.

"Damn... I just tuned it up, too..." Jade muttered to herself as she sped towards the slayer, speeding up rather than stopping. About ten yards from the man, she hit the brakes and turned hard, jumping off the bike, sending it sliding sideways along the ground towards the slayer, and then landed in a crouch on the street. Zipping up her leather jacket all the way, she hoped to keep anything from managing to touch her skin. She quickly grabbed her Sai off her belt, calmly standing, slowly looking up.
