Sight plotted her revenge, the scars of Ezekiel's attack still burned into her skin. She murmured to herself, pulling her hood around herself and sitting down near a trash can right outside of the Cafe. She planned to wait - fear was what made her hide, made the humans attack her when she was an adolescent, made her family disown her and made the world push her to the shadows.
She brought shaky hands to her face, feeling her eyes and sighing. "If only I could live normally again. Normally before they found out." She would just sit there and wait, the powers to manipulate shadows slowly reviving though she was still in pain. She wouldn't stay down for long.

Ezekiel sighed, nodding his head. "Yes.. Im sorry. I never wanted to drag you into this, but it happend." A pang of guilt rang through Ez's tired voice as he explained to Reni. "Im not telling you that you're going to be just like me, I dont want you to become a hunter like me. For fifty year's I've been looking over my shoulder every night to see if something was chasing me. That shouldnt be pushed onto anyone. Anyone."
Ezekiel released the clasps holding his hair back, long black and gray tressess draping over his face like a curtain hiding his inside pains. "I just think, the sooner I get done what has to be done- it will all end." He explained, placing a cigarette inbetween his lips, striking the metal churner of his lighter and igniting the end of the ciggarette.

Reni sighed softly, her right hand reaching with outstretched fingers to the back of her neck to rub slowly. So because she was...how she was with Ezekiel, her own life was now in danger and she had to choose...something. What was it she had to choose? How could she make it so she could protect herself? Ez had a life himself, he could not be chasing after her and watching out for her all the time.
Bringing her hand back in front of her, it laced with the other as her gaze lifted to match Ez's. "Then something is going to have to be done if I am in danger. You can't protect me all the time, Ez." Her voice paused to glance around at the people in the other booths and at the table in the diner she had worked in just hours ago. "You need to go off and do what it is that you need to. I can't go with you, that would be putting me in more danger, would it not?"

Ezekiel was overwhelmed with guilt as he watched his friend contemplate on the situation he inevitably pushed onto her shoulders.
"I know what has to be done, and I expect it to be done within these few upcoming nights. As long as im not here, there is no threat to you're life." The truth was sharp and inevident, Ezekiel's eyes boring deep into Reni's. "I started the hunt of the big men of the vampire comunity, and I think this new vampire that Matthew and I had a encounter with just might know where we can find them. When they are dead, I just might as well be."

Reni was not concerned for her life so much as she was concerned for his. He was the one who was chasing after the vampires, putting his life in danger. He was saving innocent people and what was Reni doing? She was not doing anything like that. He should not feel guilty for putting her in such a position, when she had known what Ez had been doing with his life.
"No." Her voice was surprisingly firm. Her face had twisted slightly and she was quite determined to make her point clear. "See, I cannot allow that to happen. I'm just going to have to come with you to make sure you stay in one piece, as well as stay alive." Renita shook her head, folding her arms across her chest in a rather stubborn way. "You and your buddy here - Matthew, you said his name was, I believe - can teach me a little something to protect myself, but I can't let you go out there to find your death. I'm sorry, that is the way it is."

Ezekiel shook his head in protest to Reni, although a thin grin spread acrost his lips. "Fine, be stubborn. You can tag along but I'll be damned if I let you become a hunter." The grizzled man informed her, reaching inside his trenchcoat and removing the thick pistol he had recently stocked inside his arsenol. Placing the large fire-arm on the table, he slid it over to her. Shortly following after it was a thin leather shoulder holster.
"Big gun, big bullets. Theres a light beneath it, that's only for use in close-rang combat. The batteries last it about 30 seconds, and I dont have a refill because the other four batteries are in the flash mounts of my other pistols." Ezekiel patted the Gun-shaped creases on his Trench, showing he had the smaller pistol from earlier and a automatic Uzi strapped to his body. "If you shoot, aim for the heart or the neck. Head shot's are the least effective when it comes to vampire killing." Ezekiel chuckled slightly as he quickly teached Reni the basic's that she needed when working with him- some of his comments made to offend Matthew to a slight extent. "The garlic spray I gave you is one of the most handy weapons. Not only is it almost as powerfull as a gun, if sprayed it blocks a vampires scent and allows a quick excape. If you're ever up against a vampire in the 'danger zone'.." Hands moved around his neck and facial area to describe this 'zone'. "Dont risk firing close shots. Either use complete use of your spray, or attempt to bust out teeth with the butt of the pistol. Always works."

Her head cocked to the right just slightly, enough to be noticed by anyone paying attention to her body language. "Fine, I will be stubborn. And what is so bad about being a hunter? I mean...you didn't turn out too bad." Still, Ez reached into his pocket and slid a rather large gun over the table to her. She caught it before it slipped into her lap and then the holster that went around her shoulder.
She looked up to him with an indescribable look across her face. He began to go throguh and describe the light and how to shoot, where to shoot, and what would be the best distance to shoot from. Her brows furrowed slightly as she listened, glancing down at the gun every so often. "Ez -" He cut her off and when she tried to do it again, he did the same and she sighed, sitting back in her seat. When he finished, she rolled her shoulders lightly. "Alright. I've never gone against a vampire, I don't know how they react or anything. I don't know much about them at all besides they drink blood and hate garlic. Shouldn't I go up against one to see if I can even...do it, just for a practice?"

Ez finished his rant's on combat shortly before Reni's face flashed a confused look. The thought of her going up against Matthew was eagerly rejected from his mind. Ez didnt even have full trust for the sketchy vampire beisde him, let alone would he trust one of the few humans he cared for in this world 's life be put in the hands of what could be his enemy.
"Maybe. For now, let's just stick to mental preperation shall we?" It was obvious Ezekiel was avoiding pressing his friend up against a vampire; expecially Matthew who's strength levels matches Ez's on his mental charts. "Vampires are vain and like to talk. They figure they are immortal, so they carry themselves care free and ramble on during fights. Your best bet is to not humor them and power on through." Ez stood out of the booth, waving a hand for Reni to follow him. The diner was completely empty, most people having abandoned the streets to seek refuge in the red and blue lights of gossip and blood. "Vampires are extremely fast and build most of their hand-to-hand fighting strategies off of that. Dont try and be faster then them, or you will end up over-thinking your actions and becoming predictable." Ezekiel swung powerfully and strategically at the air, his fists swinging at fake enemies as if a slow-motion boxing champion. "Strength is right next to speed advantages when it comes to Vampires. Never, under any circumstances let one get ahole of you, or it's all over. I've seen vampires crush lead pipes with their hands. Thats where you're tools come in." Ezekiel stomped a foot down, a long blade flipping out of the front of his boot. "When in doubt, aim for the groin."

From her hiding spot, she could hear Ezekiel swinging and could almost make out his words. She shook her head, getting to her feet and walking out in the open. There...was two more beside him - a female and another vampire. The same one that called her a freak. She twitched at this, almost regretting her action but moving towards them nonetheless.
"I'm guessing you are training another - how befitting; she will be needed after I kill you." Sight spoke loudly. She stopped just a few feet away from the trio, turning in the direction of Matthew. Contempt oozed through her words, speech only said through clenched teeth. "My own brethern - making me out to be the beast. Making me out to be the monster when all in truth; you are the one that's the demon. Not I. I've struggled, drinking blood from animals and even blood that could kill me. Never have I truly sank my teeth into human flesh to drain them. Never. I may have killed them out of rage or out of distraction but never pin me to be a villain when you - yourself - is the epitome of evil." She practically spat. "Especially if you turn your back on your own kind. For shame on you." What a brave teenager, throwing herself out in the sights of the Hunter but at this point - she had nothing left to lose. "I will be sure to give it all I've got if needed to." She turned in the direction of the female, baring her fangs. "As I said - I never tasted human blood but tonight - perhaps I will die trying." It was obvious she was afraid, her knees buckled for a moment and she was still scarred beneath her hood she securely hid under.
