Hearing Matthew talked wounded her. The look that took over her face would make any human feel remorse. She continued to back up as Ezekiel advanced.
"Freak, freak, freak. That's all I ever hear now. I try, try so hard to live amongst the humans happily and freely but whenever they find out, whenever they see someone slightly different - they don't accept." Her body visibly quaked with sadness, more like convulsions and trying her hardest to choke back tears. "I'll be damned if I will allow my own AND the humans to keep casting me away." She didn't have the intention to kill the child - no, just make the child live and suffer the life she had to - being blind. Sight kept backing up and sought for a moment where she could attack, glancing out the corner of her eye at a fire hydrant. A smirk touched her lips and with an inhuman kick, she slammed her foot into the fire hydrant and let water shoot up from the ground and rain down on them in a sheet of water. She moved swiftly, though the wound was hurting her every step of the way. She tries her best to run past them, to recover, to grow stronger - so she may come back and make her next debut - if she was able to run away. "I don't want to be hurt, die or live like this anymore so I'll take matters into my own hand!" She yelled out.

Natalia looked over to Reni. "Do... D'ya think I should go out there? Things are going pretty badly." Her eyebrows knit together. "Thing is, I'm not armed..." She wasn't sure what to do. She was never close to her "kind," but sympathized with them. She remembered humanity, too, and held no grudge against the normal people. She'd have to make sure she was doing the right thing, and for now there wasn't much to be done on her part.
"Hey, I've got a building on Bleecker... Parents bought it a while ago... Maybe we should hide out there 'till this is safe? Or, y'know, get some people out of harm's way? I have some... uh..." she hesitated. Why would she have... "Weapons there too. Let's go arm ourselves, at least..." |
|

Nat suddenly spoke to Reni as she cradled the white spray of garlic in her hands, gazing down at it and then glancing up at the TV every so often. Her attention was stolen from such and to the female, a small roll of her shoulders at her suggestion or question. "I don't know...I mean. I'd love to go out there, make sure Ez doesn't get hurt and whatnot. I have a can of garlic spray. That'll help against vampires at least, assuming there are any. That won't help against normal people. Of course, might sting a little in the eyes and whatnot..."
Her voice trailed off as she brought up her parent's building. "Ez told me to stay here, remember? If I leave and he comes back within...fifteenish minutes now, then he'll start to hunt ME down." But then she brought up arming themselves and she sighed. "Alright, alright. But we have to be back here sometime soon. Let's go," Reni said, jumping up with her can of garlic and moving towards the door.

Natalia twitched a little at the mention of garlic spray, and remembered as Reni told her, "Oh, right, yeah... What Ez said... Well, we can be back very soon. Yeah, we really should arm ourselves, so lemme hail a cab."
The girl got up with a little groan and pushed open the diner door. She stood at the streetcorner and waved at the passing cabs, until one slowed and stopped. She motioned to Reni and slid into the back seat, saying "472 Bleecker - Hurry!" I've got all the weaponry in ... the basement... Oh shit, what'm I getting myself into? she thought, remembering her feeding habits. She kept the bones in a cupboard down there, and the meat in the freezer... Stupid, stupid! There was no way she could dig herself out of this situation now, though. She'd have to go with it. |

Ezekiel's eyes flickerd over to Matthew, a snarl excaping his lips as he tried to avert attention to both vampires. "Shut you're mouth. Im not a fan of killing the innocent." Was all he told Matthew, his eyes switching back to Sight. "No one's casting you away. Dont listen to this guy here, he's a dumbass." A small laugh, showing Sight that he was comfortable and able to talk to her on a normal level.
"Im not casting you away, you have a human friend." Just as quickly as he said that, BANG. The girl ran past him in a frenzy of emotions, water raining down over he and matthew. He let her go, for now. His mind was racing a inhumane speeds- what if Matthew attacked him through the diversion? Best act now.. "On the ground!" Ezekiel roared, spinning around through the downpour of water to point his gun at Matthew. "Dont do anything stupid, I like you and Im trying to end this night on a good note." He lectured, circling the vampire slowly. "I just couldnt let you get to me first, considering I gave you a weapon."

Reni noticed the twitch but chose not to mention it. Perhaps she was just a twitchy person. She didn't know...she didn't want to bring something up that could cause the girl to get mad at her.
In either case, they moved out of the diner that she worked in and out to the streets. Busy cabs flew by before one finally stopped. The back seat was a little uncomfortable but it was the fasted way to get to a place in New York City. "I hope we get there and back before Ez decides to return to the diner. He'll murder me if I'm not there." She muttered softly to herself, holding the white spray can to her stomach tightly. This whole thing had her completely paranoid and worried, more than likely over nothing.

"Hmph, the only reason I didn't snap your neck when I could have is because right now I dont feel like a fight, alright? That girl had no quarrel with murdering innocent children. She deserved no mercy!" Matt lashed out, but he was careful to not move. Even at Matt's speed Ezekiel could probably get a good shot off him. "Anyway, Ezekiel, I don't want a fight. I want to end all this madness. Some of my kind are just going crazy and are beginning to attack out in public. Soon the whole damn world will know of Vampires and try to completely obliderate our race. Don't you understand, Ezekiel, our races can come to an agreement. But its these damned crazy-ass vampires that are exposing us to the public, in the dark our races live along side of eachother. However, when these idiots begin to expose us more and more the whole world will be seeking to get rid of us." Matthew explained.
Matt's eyes were trained on the barrel of Ezekiel's gun. "Put the gun down, I dont want to fight and we both know that I could move out of the path of your bullet and kill you. I wanted to kill you at first Ezekiel, but now I see you are not just some rutheless thug of a vampire hunter." Matt said, although he had lied about him being able to move so quickly as to dodge the bullet.

Ezekiel kept the sights of the gun trained inbetween Matthews eyes, soaking in all of his words. The old mans grizzled face contorted, allowing his thoughts to be shown through facial features. "You have a good point, wich brings me to why im here. Who do you expect to kill those who step out of line? The police? Psh." Ezekiel showed obvious disgust for the police as he continued to cirlce Matthre through the downpour of water. Spectators refused to step in.
"I dont see why you all just dont feed on animals, or rob hospitals. You ruin lives with your horrific feedings- now you all have gone and set up you're own little crime family, one of wich I suspect you are part of. You seem to fit the description.."

"Hmph. What does it matter who I am with. We do not feed on animals because they lack the unique blood of a human. A human's blood is enough to fill us for at least a week, however animal blood such as pigs or dogs only suffice for a day, and thats just if I get a hold of two or three of the buggers, not to mention it tastes horrible." Matt gave out a very short laugh.
"I want to help you Ezekiel, or rather let us help eachother. We both know that some of these vampires are getting out-of-hand. These rutheless vampires must be exterminated. You know what needs to be done..." Matt said, pausing for a moment as he reached his hand out slightly to feel the rain drop on his hand. He quickly put his hand back down to his side. "Of course, you can pull the trigger. But that wont solve anything, Ezekiel. We must help eachother. Here." Matt said as he took the knife Ezekiel gave him out of his pocket and tossed it on the ground. "So, what'll it be?" he said. He was afraid Ezekiel might actually pull the trigger, but his facial expression nor words expressed his fright; although his heart was beating quite fast.
