Yoko open her eyes and saw the sun shinning like it did every morning. She got up out of bed and look at the clock." I over slept again!" She screamed as she did when ever she over sleeps. She quickly gets dress for school and then remembers the notebook she found the day before. Picking it up and putting it in her backpack with her other school junk." I have no time to read this notebook,I'll take a look at it later." She said to herself as she looked at the TV to see it talking about some fire that happened. She open the front door and Began to walk to school. Deadlock was looking through the portal at the girl that found her death note."Let's hope she be a lot of fun" she said with a smile as she went through the portal. "And now to find that girl,I can't wait to meet her!" she said with a smile as she began to fly towards her position. She noticed some of the other shinigami made the human realm to."What could they be up to,Are they here to have some fun to?" |

Drew got a closer look at the man in the suit as he came over and introduced himself: he looked familiar. -‘Josh Nickels?’. The name ran through Drew mind for a brief moment, pulling up the memory he had of the man. It was of photograph he had seen of him in the magazine ‘Computer World’ about six months ago in an article titled ‘Young Entrepreneurs in the Computer World’. Drew read such magazines, when he had the time, to see if he could find any reference to his exploits as ‘TheGripR3aper’; though, more than occasionally he came across mentions of his ‘real’ name. As he remembered, this particular article had compared him and Mr Nickels as the ‘new nice guys in computers’: that title had entertained Drew greatly. This was a very fortunate chance meetings; at worse Drew could have some fun with the man and at best he might make a new ‘business’ contact. “Not at all, Mr Nickels” Drew said, gesturing to the seat across from him. “What would you like to know?” he asked in a cheery tone “I’d have assumed a man in your position would already know quite a bit about computers”

Colton made his way casually down the street, noticing the crowd that gathered around the newly burnt down, attempting to ignore all the gawking and assorted noises as he sighed still going down the street before approaching his normal bus stop only to be told he had to go elsewhere because of what happened. With a groan he decided to take a shortcut, as per his normal, through a flower garden only to notice a girl there as well and stop suddenly. ~~~ At the café, the man was still waiting for his coffee when he sat down at the table immediately in front of Drew with a sigh before drumming on the table with a little bit of impatiences before glancing at his shoes and tying it. ~~~ Nearby the park, Skullsoul pointed to 'his' DeathNote fibbing, "I only came here to have some fun, so far I haven't found anyone that really worthy of having such a power as our," he paused, "However, I have seen noticed a rather quiet boy in this mess that might be able to resist the urge to go crazy like that boy Ryuk was stuck with for the longest." |

"My, my, my. Somebody's eager," Kikkur called out, circling Violet, looking somewhat like a vulture. "'Course I am, it's not every day you get the perfect weapon dropped on your lap," she replied. She read and re-read the instructions, written in a copperplate script, detailing how to use the book. "I can kill anyone, any method? That's pretty amazing," she said excitedly. "Anything else I should know 'bout?" Kikkur hit the floor again, and winked at her, grinning widely. "I'll save that for later." "Aw, that's no fair," Violet complained. "I'd feel like I was robbing you." "Tell me," she begged. "I wanna know now!". Another car passed, oblivious. "Shame. You have more than you had an hour ago, be grateful." he chastised her, drifting ahead. "Now, don't you wanna try it out?" he invited. Violet walked past him, heading down the wide road towards the town. "C'mon, we're going home. I have to get my dinner." she said sharply.

Meti glared at Skullsoul when he revealed that he dropped his Death Note, but noticed something interesting in what he said. “Ryuk dropped his book here? Actually, that doesn’t surprise me much, considering who we’re talking about.” Due to his solitude, he was unaware of any events that had happened within the last few centuries in the human realm. “Never mind, whatever he may have done doesn’t really matter anymore.” Getting over his curiosity, the shinigami returned to glaring at the other, not that it was easy to tell due to his blind appearance. “It’s good to see that you’re not foolish enough to drop your book here, Kihaku. However, I don’t think Skullsoul is quite as fortunate. What’re you thinking anyway, that messing with the humans in this realm will give you some temporary amusement? It’s not wise to mettle with such unpredictable creatures; you may start the chain of events that leads to something horrible happening.” His smoky white eyes never left the other shinigami as he ranted, now showing his clear distaste of shinigami that associated with humans. If one of the four that dropped their books paired with a human that caused utter chaos, then Meti would be the first to disown them. ~~~ Josh’s grin broadened when the other gestured for him to sit down, which he gladly did. “Ah yes, I do know much about computers, but not as much of their smaller counterparts. I’m aware of the basic functions of laptops, but I wanted to learn more about them. I’d mainly like to know some contrasts between them and desk top computers, besides the obvious size difference, of course.” Taking a brief look around the café once more, none of the people really caught his attention besides one guy bending down and tying his shoes. Noting how none of them really interested him like the man sitting across from him, he turned back to face them. “Hey, I just noticed something. What’s your name?” It had taken him a while to notice it, but the other hadn’t given him their name. Being the sociable man that he is, his name was normally the first thing that he told others, giving them something to call him by. Besides, conversations seemed more casual when you could put a name with a face, something that he realized quick when he got into the business world. His charms were what got him into his current position, his likeable demeanor seemed to make others trust and befriend him, allowing him to even get some friends in higher places. |

With a groan he decided to take a shortcut, as per his normal, through a flower garden only to notice a girl there as well and stop suddenly. ~~~ Once he had his shoe tied and his coffee to go he scanned the area to find somebody to befriend with and glanced at a pair of people and thought, Hm, a businessman and a tech guy. Not much for prey, but I guess I'll just act natural for a moment, who knows I might get a computer repair so I can find another place to crash and burn, as he sat down and watched them without making it too obvious. ~~~ Skullsoul just simply smiled and then stated, "Come on, don't you get bored staying up there forever? I mean it's not like we actually do anything, right? Besides, what's the chances that a human will use it after what happened 50 years ago, even if most of these humans are a different generation, I don't think something like that is going to fade away fast," before flying off and landing on a tree, taking his stolen Death Note out of its holder, opened and closed it without adding a name, and then returning it, "Right?" |

“Ah, how rude of me; my name is Drew Spring” Drew said to the man, keeping up a friendly demeanour. -‘Is this guy for real?’ Drew thought, ‘not like the head of any corporation I’ve met before: defiantly a ‘nice guy’’. “Well” he continued, removing his laptop – a sleek, shiny black, expensive looking piece of kit, which bore Drew’s name in place of any logo or name of manufacturer – from its bag so that the man could see it, “really there isn’t too much difference between a desktop and a laptop. They are obviously smaller, as you said; even on the level of circuitry and vital components. They, of course, also require an internal power supply, which causes the average laptop has a higher heat output compared to a desktops; meaning that ventilation is even more important. All of this means that they tend to be more expensive than their comparative desktops; but most users find that the convenience of portability outweighs the extra cost. “There is also the aspect of customisation to consider. Most desktops are manufactured in a way that leaves the user with the ability to upgrade them, by fitting a larger hard drive, for example; while laptops tend to be fixed devises”. Drew paused after his lengthy explanation to see if the man was keeping up. Really; these were simple things that most computer savvy school children could tell you; but Drew had met heads of corporations before that he thought could use with going back to school. He had made quite a bit of money from those people; he was looking forward to seeing if this could lead onto another such opportunity. ---------------------------------------- Lilith lounged near the portal to the human world; it had certainly seen a lot of activity recently. What was going on down there that had the attention of so many of her kin? It must be interesting. Shifting herself so that she was now sitting, Lilith considered going through the portal to find out. She could even indulge in her hobby while she was down there; she hadn’t done that in a few decades. She thought for a few moments more. Yes. Yes, she would go down to earth and find out what was happening; then she would look for a poor innocent human and put them in an interesting situation. This could prove fun. Having made her decision Lilith stood, stretched her wings and flew down though the portal into the realm of the humans. “Now… where is everybody?”

"When we get in, I'm going to pretend you're not there, 'kay?" Violet told the shinigami sternly. She unlocked the door, and called "I'm home," before running quickly upstairs to her bedroom to stash the notebook. "Where can I put this.." she whispered. "I thought you were ignoring me?" Kikkur asked loudly. "Shh! I am." "Put it in your bookcase," he suggested, gesturing towards the already over-filled bookcase. Violet scowled at him. "Or don't, it's really up to you." "I'll put it here for now, no-one is going to be looking for it anyway." she said, lifting up her mattress and sliding it underneath. "Dinner!" called a woman's voice--Violet's mother. Violet sighed. "One minute!" she called, turning back to Kikkur, who was bouncing on the spot. "Calm down, Kikkur. And find me a pen," she whispered, starting towards the door. "Wait! One more thing, ple-e-ease?" he begged, dramatically dropping to his knees; he was still as tall as Violet. She sighed, waiting. Kikkur span on the spot, and when hewas facing her again, he was holding out something small, and white. He thrust it at her face. "Ta-daa," he sang. "Death Eraser*!" "Are you joking? I'm going to have to write in pencil?" she complained, still in a whisper, walking out the door and heading down the stairs. She ate quickly, barely talking to her parents, and rushed back upstairs after dumping her plate in the sink. "Ok," she whispered, almost as excited as Kikkur looked. "Where should I start..? Spoiler
